Great video... btw....I wish the new Ball core moyu flagship cubes at least had a nice MOYU pouch like my tornado v3 has. Anyhow look forward to Jperms review of wrm v9 too.
Corner twisting on this cube is very unlikely to damage the corner pieces as the corners are slightly more rounded than other cubes so it's much easier to corner twist on this cube. Hence, corner twisting won't put much pressure on the corner piece unlike other cubes that are harder to corner twist.
But true that the strength of the pieces on the wrm v9 also contribute to the high durability.
Some people have found this to be a slight con of the cube(it's rather easy to corner twist unless it's on rather tight tensions)
We have seen some weird stuff via customer support emails so we are trying to discourage people from corner twisting intentionally or tugging on corner pieces but you are correct!

Young and newer cuber here: Gonna get myself one for my upcoming birthday, along with a budget cube for my sister and some lube! Currently I main the RS3M 2020, and while that is a great cube for its price, I'll be getting a much-needed upgrade!
I like the rs3m a lot, the ys3m is great too.
@@chimchu3232i use the WRM 2021 Maglev. it’s a great cube, i upgraded from the RS3M 2021 i had when i got it.
6:16 Depending on my mood, either I use my GTS3M (I like the satisfying clicks it makes, so I use this one when I don't care about my surroundings) or I use my Super (for if I want to be stealthy).
6:55 My preference lies in 'uncontrollable' cubes, I have set all my cubes to their loosest possible settings, and only lubed them with lubes which made them faster if they still felt too slow for me after being set to their loosest. And yes I have replaced the springs in my GTS3M with maglev.
I'm on the border for the adjustable magnets because yeah I really like them because of the gan 12, 13, 356 XS, and the tornado V3, but to me Non adjustable magnets on Moyu cubes is a staple and a must, but in the end of the road i would keep moyu the same

Hey cam!! From what I’ve seen and remember about the tensioning tools that are included.. they don’t look like they would even be usable with the ball core versions as they need to get close in to the core so they fit in between the centre pieces 🤔

i did 6.21 on the standard version
SCR says the V9 hearkens back to its GTS Roots.
But SCS says it's abandoning it's typical MoYu feel.
Now I don't know who to actually believe.
I think it is both, actually! The only “feel” difference is the blockiness of the pieces.

Tried the depth tools once, and that was too much. I tension these by gauging screw depth with the center caps off.

No, that is an amazing speedcube, and if you like it, just stick with that. In my opinion, the newer models are good, but not worth upgrading from a wrm maglev. I still use my wrm maglev often

I have the wrm 2021 maglev , YS3M ball core non-UV and the YS3M magic clothes UV version...and now I am thinking do i need get the wrm v9 ball core?? I wonder how the wrm v9 BC feels compared to the YS3M Magic clothes Ball core UV.....and is one more glossy than the other? Because on the videos the wrm v9 BC UV looks a tiny bit more glossy than the YS3m Magic clothes UV? or same?

I wanna ask anyone whoever gonna read this comment, what's the best cube out there with a ball-core matte finish version? My hands sweat quite easily reason why I'm choosing the matte finish over any kind of finishes, I know that the matte will wear off eventually but I read somewhere that it still is quite better than the UV coated for sweaty hands.

With the cost for v9 standard you may be able to get a ball core ys3m with a little bit more money, likely to be more worth it than the v9 standard.
If you are on a tight budget I would say get the ys3m if you like a light turning and responsive cube or super rs3m if you like a quick, stable and blocky cube.
If you are already considering the v9 I would say might as well go for the ball core unless you specifically do not like core magnets

Standard version should only have come as stickered. Maglev should have come as both and the ball-core should be just like it is, only stickerless.

The Ball Core has exactly 100 magnets in it and everyone says 88.
There are 5 magnets per corner, 5x8 = 40
There are 4 magnets per edge, 4x12 = 48
And 2 magnets per center for maglev, 2x6 = 12
48 + 12 = 60 + 40 = 100
I go off of what the people who made the cube tell me 😅

8 core magnets: 8*1=8
2 magnets per centre piece=2*6=12
Total number of magnets:
36+32+8+12=88
The magnets in the core that attracts the corner magnets are the same magnets that repel the edge magnets, you may have confused yourself to think that there are another 12 magnets in the core that repel the magnets on the edges
48 + 12 = 60 + 40=100
