Fun fact: in Rome there is an aqueduct called "acqua marcia" meaning "water of (Ancus) Marcius". The word "marcio" (or female "marcia") also means rotten in italian, hence, whenever you drink from the acqua marcia it sounds like drinking rotten water.

Just stumbled across your channel. This is great! I always disliked how so much of history is glossed over in classes and books. For instance, going straight from Romulus and Remus to the founding of the Republic.

Jezebel was the talkative people in marshes and wet lands. Similar also to tv and newscasting. I don't blame them because of the stagnant water?

Allison Higginbotham It’s in the book of revelation. One of the land and one of the sea. It’s a long story. Here a link if you’re interested and might be helpful.

How can they say that Ancus Marcius conquered the Latins when, in fact, it was his army that did most of the deed and died by his name.

Fascinating that famous people like monarchs who ruled way before the existence of the greatest human whoever lived (Jesus Christ) are rarely talked about.
    The more you know.

If the Romans and Latins were two different ethnicities why then did the Romans speak Latin and have Latin names? Especially since your claim is Rome concurred Latium.

The romans were a group of Latina but the Romans conquered the other Latin groups in the Italian peninsula. Afterwards they spread to Hispania (Spain and Portugal) and Southern Gaul (France)
