    These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

    That NE1 had the clearest voice, and cut out the BG noise completely. I'm impressed! Especially when considering it's mid-range price up against what I consider premium prices. I have to agree though that it had a hitch pitch to it and would probably have to be conscious about my voice volume when using this. Lol. Great review!

    Round 1 AirPods Pro took that one, Round 2 Sony Linkbuds and
    Round 3 the Marshall Motif just going based off clarity and sound detonating with minimal static interference

    Wow. This just proves how different we are as humans. I hated the nothing buds. I was seriously questioning if there was a hidden deal with them. I had them last in round one.

    It was after your reviews that I bought the NE(1) for my wife for whom call quality is the most important factor. I like yuor style and the mix of real-life and studio tests; you seem to be a diligent reviewer. My wife walks through London every morning and calls her elderly Dad so call clarity and volume are important (plus we want midrange cost). They arrive today and fingers crossed :-)

    • @berto2002
      @berto2002 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cipsoft100 I've had a couple of calls with them and it's nice and clear and cloud and we are quite pleased. The first few seconds of a call fluctuate in quality as if the earbuds are getting to grips with the atmosphere and then it settles down nicely. We're pleased. Grab 'em before they go up in price! Or wait until the Nothin Ear (2) come out imminently...

    The Nothingear seemed to me to be hitting max recording volume & clipping the audio during peaks. I'm listening to this from a computer with a Creative X-Fi soundcard going directly into a high-end power amplifier with the soundcard's volume set at a mere 12%, and Creative's "Crystalizer" turned off.

  • @1n50mn1ac
    @1n50mn1ac 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

  • @allnighter2011
    @allnighter2011 2 ปีที่แล้ว +17

    Great comparison...Once you get to the top 3-5, the differences are really marginal and you will barely notice them when it comes to sound quality and noise reduction. This is where you might consider other factors such as price, comfort, battery life, how secure they are in your ear, etc. I have Soundcore and Bose...I actually find Soundcore ever so slightly better in sound quality and even people on the other line hearing me say its a bit better...yet I can't stand having something stuck that deep in my ear more than 30 min...Bose on the other hand, despite being so ugly looking and big when worn, feel like wearing ear muffs..i wear them for hours and don't notice them and the fins provide a secure fit... obviously this will vary from one person to another based on the shape of your ear...so bottom line is, right now there are many competent earbuds and you need to consider all factors to find the one that is right for you, because when it comes to sound and performance, many do well in the $150+ price range

      The Bose and both Sony were the best in the bunch. It’s all about preferences really. The NE1 were one of the worst and I can’t imagine how they were pick unless it’s a payed review. They sound clipped and distorted from all the amplification they have. Perhaps with a lower pitch voice they could perform better but in this test they were really bad.

    I have Sennheiser Momentum 3's, They sound great. BUT!!!
    Seems on all my cell phone calls, the party on the other end hears a very bad (loud) echo on their end. They hear exactly what they just said for a second time being played back to them. To a point where they all have hoped off of the call as soon as they could.
    I have been able to limit the severity of this issue by turning down the volume of my Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 ear buds. But at that point, I almost cannot even hear the party on the other end of the call.
    I have been through two NEW sets of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 ear buds that give me the very same problem. I originally thought I may have had a lemon set on the first purchase. So, I went ahead and bought a second set., and whala!! Same EXACT issue!!!
    I was then thinking with the 3 microphone ear buds, the microphones were so good, that they were picking up through the speaker what the caller on the other end had just said, and it played it back through the mic as if I had just said it? It is a weird and very bad problem.
    I spent a good amount of money for these ear buds, they do have great sound quality!! BUT, and its a BIG BUT! the echoing effect on all my cell phone calls is VERY annoying to all my contacts with whom I am talking to on my cell phone calls. I don't hear the echoing, but the callers on the other end do. And believe me, they bash me for it on every call!!
    Have you or anybody ever heard of such a complaint regarding the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 ear buds (or any ear buds)?
    I was hoping it was a setting somewhere, but I have not found it yet!
    Thanks,
    Bob

    my experience as "NOTHING EAR 1" I have an AirPods Pro and the NOTHING EAR 1 really has better sound quality, it has bass, mids and highs that are well defined and well controlled, on drums they are similar to the AirPods Pro, on the ANC part the AirPods Pro are indeed better. Nothing received an Update that improved the audio, and it doesn't lack highs or mids or bass, the sound is extremely clear, and I think most TH-camrs who criticize it only do it because they know it costs 99 dollars because if they cost 200 dollars would speak well. Nothing Ear 1 is the best value for money for those who want a high quality sound and paying little money.

    You choose Nothing in first round, though the sound was terrible.. couldn't understand whole sentence on that one. Also, I found Jabra had better quality when you compared among Sony, Jabra and Bose.

    I have the beats fit pro for security reasons but people can’t hear me when I’m in noisy environments. What would you recommend? I feel like when I had the soundcore LP3 they were much better.

      I'll suggest you go with Bose for the comfort of the ears and for the clarity of sound in a busy environment
