Hey y'all, thanks for watching! Please let us know if you'd like us to elaborate on any of our gear in future videos! For those of you that are wondering, Stacy's base weight came in at 16 lbs. Sorry, this didn't make it into the video! 😲
I'm not ultralight, but have embraced minimalism in hiking. You have all the great, ultralight "stuff". I'm sure that you will figure out what's worth carrying, and what you can live without, and your pack will be lighter and easier to carry. Of course, you're half my age, so you can get by with the "extras" that do in my knees. 😊 Happy hiking!
Ultralight isn't necessarily, it just makes it a bit more bearable 😂! The contents of our pack are constantly evolving so this will most likely change again soon. Thanks for the comment Daniel and happy hiking to you!
I was eyeing that zipper pack over the weekend, so awesome to see it in action! I won't lie - the photos on the website that show it unzipped with 4 perfectly stuffed sacks ready to access look super sexy but it's good to know how folks are actually using it in the wild. ;) Thank you!
If you were starting out and just buying one item, what would you recommend? I’m not a beginner camper, but we’ve always car camped and not had to carry our packs very far... so if I’m going to start exchanging heavy things for light things, where should we begin??
Going ultralight is quite an expensive process but I would look into changing out your sleeping bag depending on what you currently have and how heavy it is. Our EE Revelation quilts are one of our favorite pieces of gear and wouldn't go out camping without it. They were worth every penny. I would swap out the packs much later since you aren't using them much. Hope this helps! Let us know if we can provide any more details/advice!

I know it is kind of randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Alvaro Porter i would suggest flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
@Hank Javion yea, I've been watching on flixzone for months myself :)
@Hank Javion Thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) I appreciate it !

Would love to see your first aid bag... thanks for sharing!!
We could definitely do that! We'll work on a putting a DIY first aid kit video together. Thanks for the suggestion!

You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
What happened to y’all. I hope y’all are okay. Thanks for sharing 😊
Oh, I should mention that I carry a small guitar on my section hikes on the AT. Our pack weights are similar with my luxury item 🙄.
What a great addition to any night around a campfire! I'm sure those around you appreciate that guitar as well :)
Bear spray then deploy the CRKT knife for defense. They need to be more accessible.
Agreed! Our bear spray is now located on the side of our pack and is accessible.
You seem to carry everything, what does he carry.
Are you going to continue your AT thru hike this year?
Yes! We are still hiking but haven't had a chance to post our next video yet. We'll have an update shortly!
What happened to the rest of your AT hike? I can’t find them on you tube

I would love an update too
We are currently in VA!
Sorry for the delay! We are catching up on social media now!
All above 20 lbs makes no sense to me. Most ppl get comfort in 13 lbs.
