Season 6 episode 6, while under the truth spell, Bobby said he was a real fan of Tori Spelling, an actress & reality tv star. He was reading her book with his feet up. She is married to Dean McDermott, an actor & reality tv star. That's who our Dean was referring to in this episode.

Yep! Jared played a character called Dean in Gilmore girls! And there’s a few nods to it in the show 😂

Kevin McNulty, playing the butler, played the blind faith healer in S1.

I enjoyed the style because it was just making fun of who-dun-its. It’s not a perfect episode by any means but I like it. Another cameo from a previous Supernatural episode - the cop was in “after-school special” as the bus driver that gets possessed.

The actress Felicia Day who played Charlie actually has a daughter named Calliope.

Oh it's that episode...yeah really gives "Clue" or "Knives out" vibes

I loved the Clue nods, and the Ask Jeeves reference, but it wasn't the best episode. The reference to Dean cheating on Tori didn't have to do with characters that either Jared or Jensen played. Tori was literally married to Dean McDermott.

The whole episode is a satire, but that goes over a lot of people's heads especially in the U.S.

Who honestly doesn’t get that this is satire? I was on the SPN boards online when this season was running. Trust me, we all got it. It hits you in the face with how hard it’s trying to be funny satire.

You said something in the beginning and it’s gonna be true 🤭

This episode isn’t nearly as funny as the writers thought it was. I thought this was a rare swing and miss with the guest actors. Also, two trends that reoccur the second half of the series that make me eyeroll. The first one: they turned Dean’s musical taste more and more into Jensen’s musical taste (more of a light rock) with each season. And secondly (not sure if it was because Jensen got tired of the comments on his looks, or the writers thought they would be so funny with a twist), but there’s quite a few episodes where Dean thinks some lady will hit on him, said lady hits on Sam instead, Sam fumbles around like he’s never kissed a girl before, and Dean acts like he is shocked some girl would prefer Sam. Which I find insulting to both of them. And not particularly funny. Episode itself is a weak monster-of-the-week one, but as usual, they redeem it by tying it into the main story arc at the end.

This episode fell flat on its face for me. I love any mention of Bobby and the Clue references could have been good, but yeah this was just no for me.
