    That guitar tone in the solo! Hendrix written all over it. I'm not a die hard fan of them but I like all their hits and this one is up there! They play it often on radio here in the DFW area in Texas on 97.1 The Eagle. Great song!

    Hi guys! I love the Friday uploads! So far it seems like you’ve only heard “Radio” Hot Chili Peppers. You should really check out some of their funkier stuff like Power of Equality or Mellowship Slinky in B Major. Their album cuts tend to be more interesting, too. Something like “Easily” and “Get On Top” are also cool. Have a great weekend!

    The Chili Peppers have always had an interesting relationship with getting into social issues, especially early on. There's Johnny Kick a Hole in the Sky, American Ghost Dance, Knock Me Down, Power of Equality, The Righteous and the Wicked. This album has this song and the next single, These Are the Ways. Some subtle, like Black Summer and some that punch you in the face, like Power of Equality. I know Anthony fought hard for Power of Equality because Rick Rubin just wanted songs about hot women and cars when they were making Blood Sugar Sex Magik and boy am I glad Anthony won that fight. It's easily one of the best opening album tracks in their 12 album career. It really is a shock to the system in the best way possible. I'd definitely recommend anyone checking it out.

    Yoo!! I'd absolutely love it if you guys could give a listen to Bloodywood, an Indian Folk Metal band. I think you'd enjoy just about everything they've got at the moment (only one album so far), but specifically Machi Bhasad and Gaddaar are top tier, and Dana Dan is pretty intense, as far as sound. They're all earworms, and I've got the three of them stuck on repeat the last few weeks.
    Thanks for the videos guys 🤘

      @DKC78 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@poivognome792 i mean what would you classify can’t Stop as, it’s basically rap rock, but the last 3 minutes of turn it again is Frusciante just absolutely shredding, that’s about as metal as RHCP gets

    • @poivognome792
      @poivognome792 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DKC78 Dude shredding does not equal metal. would you classify the outro solo of Alive by pearl jam metal? That's like 2 mins of solid shredding too. The one hot minute album is about as metal as RHCP gets, not stadium arcadium, and even calling OHM metal is pushing it.

    If you want to check out some of their earlier songs I would recommend Blackeyed Blonde (1985), Subway to Venus or Nobody Weird Like Me (1989), If You Have To Ask, Mellowship Slinky in B Major, Blood Sugar Sex Magik, or Sir Psycho Sexy (1991), or Coffee Shop or Shallow Be Thy Game (1995). All of these are either a bit harder edged or funkier than 21st century RHCP, which tends to be a bit more radio friendly. The new album has plenty of very good songs as well.

    Some songs that I think are highly underrated by 🌶️'s:
    1: Naked in the Rain
    2: Warped
    3: Minor Thing
    4: Parallel Universe
    5: Knock Me Down
    6: Get On Top
    But honestly you guys could do ANY DAMN song off of BSSM besides Give it Away/suck my kiss and I'd be ecstatic 🤘

    Y'all should do a "Whatchu Thinkin" reaction by Red Hot Chili Peppers. I've seen you guys love stevie ray vaugh and other musicians that play from the soul and John Frusciante is another one of those kind of guitarists. Its my favorite song next to "Heavy Wing" off this album. Cheers fellas!

    Some not so popular songs suggestions (one from each album, from last to first) for songs that you guys could react to:
    - "Here Ever After" from this new one;
    - "Sick Love" from The Getaway;
    - "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" from I'm With You;
    - "Wet Sand" from Stadium Arcadium;
    - "Venice Queen" from By The Way (the specific version "Live at Slane Castle" of this one, has something special);
    - "Parallel Universe" from Californication;
    - "Coffee Shop" from One Hot Minute (that bass...):
    - "My Lovely Man" from Blood Sugar Sex Magik;
    - "Knock Me Down" from Mother's Milk;
    - "Organic Anti-Beat Box Band" from The Uplift Mofo Party Plan;
    - "Catholic School Girls Rule" from the Freaky Style;
    - "Buckle Down" from the Red Hot Chili Peppers;
