I propose an easy solution to gameloft ridiculous strategy of nerfing every car of the game… and that is People…, do Not spend any single dollar on this game every again, if they don’t respect us as consumers, we shouldn’t respect this game even though we have obtain good memories with it.

Imma be completely honest, as an extremely competitive player, from what I hear the devel was absolutely monstrous, and just because people "invested" into the car should not even be a factor in terms of balance. Sucks that it was so OP and convinced so many, but then again, lmao

The fact that Gameloft broke Devel to a crazy level (see what I did there?), can only be the signs of other, popularly used cars getting some "performance changes"... I would lose my mind if something like the Etense gets a 40-stat handling, or if the Mazda Furai's top speed becomes 280 while keeping its other stats the same... Also, nice video, Cars On, showing that Terms of Service is a real eye-opener to most of us ALU players... Asphalt Legends Unite is going in the same path as digital streaming, where you _own nothing, but what you buy is just merely a license to access it until whenever we (the companies) wish for it to be available on our platform_

The biggest disappointment for me is they messed up its floaty capability, earlier it automatically used to float when you just gave it a jerk but now, you have to punch every time for initiating floaty drift, and it loses a lot of speed😔
Agree fully - now 16 is a rank of 4800 something and drift worse than ultima (no floaty) I have promised myself that if they don’t improve this car I WILL NOT spend a CENT further
I still remember watching the video where you said its worth it for you to spend thousends because its going to stay as the king for many years being exponentially better than the 2nd best car.
Probably the best way to bring the Devel 16 somewhat closer to what it used to be would be would be to decrease its drift deceleration and improve its drift radius. I think the biggest thing about this car was that once you got it up to speed, if you had the skills, you could keep it at a high speed through almost every corner, though it would be difficult to get it to those speeds, especially with the low air acceleration. I definitely thought the car needed some sort of balancing, but I did not expect the Devel to be nerfed so hard. When I read the patch notes, I expected a small fix for the clipping problem it had, but nothing like this. It was rediculous how OP that car was, but if people paid good money for it (ESPECIALLY through a Syndicate), they should still have a king car.
It's just heartbreaking to see Gameloft now compared to the old days when they are still producing high quality games. Now the game is literally telling everyone to spend on the new cars because the old kings are nerfed

There are two buffs that i noticed: Lykan hypersport, and the Dodge viper gts I have some pictures of my positions in mp with these cars they perform surprisingly good in mp I don't know what is the reason behind this but this is kind of good for a f2p player like me

Not sure whether to support this nerf or not. Devel nerf felt necessary since the car literally broke the game, and many players in Reddit community (the only one I’m in) wanted the car to be nerfed. It was simply too op, literally became a requirement for the leaderboard. On the other hand, for a game that rarely does updates like this …… I would say it is too much. They should at least have it on par with Venom. Would’ve been better if there was a 1 second delay on the acceleration instead of nerfed drift speed.
The funny thing is the REAL Devel 16 came out in 2022, 10 YEARS after announcement... and does NOT have a V16 engine, and less than half the HP of what they had promised.
On one hand, p2w king no longer unfair, on the other hand, people already spent money and tokens. They should have thought of this before releasing the thing
Fear of missing out for one of a kings leading to a rebalance that now questions is it even worth whaling in the game. I can’t really say a lot since Switch hasn’t even gotten DS7. So the only thing I am going to have to be careful is the Venom F5’s nitro stat.
How were people stupid enough to think they would never nerf this car? It was way too powerful and ruined the game upon release. Rip for the people who spent money, but this car NEEDED to be nerfed.
I own the Devel too. This nerf really stings. A good rebalancing would've been to just fix the physics issue where the Devel accelerates while drifting but keep the drift radius. And also fix the issue where it loses more speed on ramps. And also fix some more of the physics issues. Just saw the perfomance of the Absolute. Expected it to perform better but might have spent to at least get the Bolide. With the nerfs now, I won't do that.
At this point I'm only going go for the cars that I genuinely like rather than basing from their performance, and hopefully that would mitigate my sadness when I see any nerfs

I feel sad for those players who went all out spending money for this car😢...I feel like it should be illegal to nerf an item in which purchasing power is involved, ultimately players are buying an item based upon the stats and values a particular item shows...most of the won't go for that car if the present stats were showcased during the launch of the car.
devs side at fault for not doing balancing properly, yes they have tight deadline because of higher-ups, but that doesnt excuse them to take extra time to balance it to be fair. Now remember, most community, like you Carson, will definitely remember this negative event forever latched in your mind. Just like how many negative events (Raging Bull Season, Season Token nerf rant, etc.), it will be forever remembered, and it'll such haunt the devs to not try again, because it'll be more fire than the first time. I wont be surprised if the unwanted consequences will be DS9 didnt get the profits higher than DS8 due to this nerf. And the shareholders will be full panic mode if that happens.
Its just to introduce new cars that are overranked. Just look at the Lotus ER-9, GL calls it a king, yet we all know for a fact that the McLaren F1LM is a crazy B-class car, still worthy of being called a king... Oh and not to mention the over-ranked Zenvo Aurora Tur 🙄
The ranking system is just crap … Just look at the top b and c class cars. Most of them are trash compared to lower ranked cars. Also why don‘t they test their cars before release. Are there no real players in GL. I can check in less than 10 Minutes if a car fits the rank or is underpowered.

I don’t have the devil sixteen. But that was a horrible move towards all the players that have spent the money on this car already. I hated that they implemented such a car to begin with, but I understood that it’s a business and they are trying to make money. But to nurf it so much. I just feel bad for all the people that did spend so much money on an in game car that you don’t even own. Ouch. For the rest of us. Yay 🎉 😂 I am sorry….
If gameloft keeps nerfing cars to make people spend on the new cars they bring. It sounds like a good strategy but come to think, if i spent money to get devel sixteen and then gameloft nerfed it for me to spend on absolut i actually won't spend ever again just for that singular act. Its better to spend and know that what you spent on will stay for you. It will even make you want to spend again knowing that it will still remain there unchanged
Hello, just a heads up. The document made wasn’t specifically for Devel, rather it was an in depth 7 page Word document explaining suspension tuning in very high detail. Whilst there is no confirmation on whether the file was looked into or not for the Devel specifically (as far as I’ve heard, the rework was meant to go live many months ago but was delayed severely for whatever reason), I can at least verify that the development team has received the file, has looked into it and is making changes accordingly, including future car releases which you may have seen already

As you could see from the races made by AN, the Devel is pretty much the same except for the tweaks I mentioned. If you face a rival who has the point, he'll still win you with the new Devel
What they did is insanely unfair to players who spent thousands of dollars on the Devel. The F5 nerf on the other hand is minor so we can again call it the king. I had enough of p2w games scamming players so I’m likely gonna drop the game and boycott it, even though it’s my favourite game. More people should join the boycott and show gameloft we had enough of their shit.
Case study of why I never spend money on games like a9. It takes so much effort for us to get something powerful yet so little effort for it to be taken from us.
This game has been a huge letdown. 1st off before the update i made a purchase for a legend pass. The payment went through and i didnt recieve it. I went ahead and paid again. I was never reimbursed for the double payment. Since the update the game constantly crashes during races and i lose fuel. I will never pay another dime on this game and if they dont fix the crashing i will delete the game and never look back. I play on my xbox. The game was free which is why i bought the pass in the 1st place to support the developers. Never again
Absolutely the d16 needed a nerf, but too far. The game dev gave ppl false hope during the release of the d16 with its broken stats and now its just a disappointment for the money needed to even unlock, let alone gold max it. The Venom was a problem compared to the Jesko, but the performance the D1 was beyond the rest of the cars despite its flaw. Now, they gotta buff the d16 , but not back t its origginal performance.

welcome to the pixonic way of doing things... when they sell you new meta stuff in war robots (devel sixteen in our scenario), they will nerf it to mediocrity in a few months because they can, then sell you the next batch of meta so you use that instead (probably koenigsegg jesko absolute in our scenario) and nerf that later too.
I don't think the Absolute will be nerfed, they realized that the stats ceiling was somewhere around the old Devel stats, so they will just release cars slightly better than the prior one until they find something to use as the best car in the long run
I feel very bad for everyone who got the Devel 16. Even though that I don't "owned" the 16, but I know that the cost to acquire it is insane. You need to spend like 5000 dollars just for the key and the car at 3*. To max it, you will need to throw maybe a dozen thousand tokens or a few other hundred to thousand dollars to make it to 6*, not to mention the EIPs. At the cost of many thousand dollars just for an item that is " just merely a license to access it until whenever the companies wish for it to be available on our platform", people have the right to ask for the quaility of the item they bought. 5-7000 dollars maybe means nothing to Gameloft, but for players, that is a huge amount of money. With that amount of money, people can buy a real car. The main reason makes people willing to spend their precious money in the DS8 is because the top notch performance and how OP the 16 was. By spending that amount of money into this P2W game, people felt that the money they spent was worth. But now, they realize that the car they pround so much went down by the hand of the developer, as the point that the 16 is now like any other DS cars, where people didn't even bother to throw their money into. And, the worse thing that, we all realize that Gameloft can do anything with the game after they nerfed the 16. If they can do the thing that normally they don't dare or bother, that means they can do anything. They can make DS E-Tense becoming the new Class S king, by changing its class, make it have the top speed of 600 kmph, infinite nitrous, or they can make the Devel 16 becoming a forgotten D Class king, also by changing its class and nerf everything, everything can be possible. I don't dare to imagine anymore.
This car has been physically cut, and it is recommended that the acceleration in the air and on the ground be the same to make up for the physical defects of the current version (Devil 16's acceleration in the air is much faster than that on the ground)
Buen video y voy a decir unos puntos que te faltaron para que el video este completo pero si me gustaría saber y que me digas con nombre y apellido Quien es el lloron masivo de la gran 7 que hizo ese documento para nerfear el Devel?. Dicho esto pasaremos a los puntos 1: Según GL el auto cómo está actualmente es como querían que saliera en un principio en A9, entonces porque cuando se filtro no lo hicieron? 2: Si dejan el auto como está ahora con su radio de giro amplió, aceleración al derrapar muerta? no tengo problema pero si me gustaría que en ese caso si es la decisión final de gl, sería 10/10 que bufearan al auto a como iba salir originalmente con la velocidad maxima: 567 KMH y 86,7 de aceleración. No salió así debido a la filtración que se hizo del auto en su momento supuestamente por Afiq pero si lo hacen así gl estaría solucionando el problema completamente creo yo 3: Admega ya confirmó que el auto va a volver como estaba antes, ahora nose si exactamente igual O con ajustes (siendo así podria volver por ejemplo: Radio de giro cerrado pero sin aceleración en derrape o viceversa pero que si o si mantenga la velocidad como antes) Gameloft ya lo anda planeando y por lo que veo en el server de discord de ALU. Todos los dueños del auto a max con 2, 4 hasta 16 epicas (dorado) están quejándose como multitud y están metiendo tanta presión como lo fue el LP del Countach LPI en Raging Bull
Balance-wise I think it is good to buff/nerf certain cars. In this case the main problem was to release it that broken. So I completely understand the people that invested a ton of money are angry.
While it does suck for those who spent on Devel, I'm sure those who don't have it are glad since its not as dominant anymore (which sadly includes most people including me)

Worst idea was to have an OP car in the first place. The nerf is justified since it creates a more level playing field. That said it's not nice for those who spend lots on it. Like you say at around 6:20 we don't own anything in the game - even if you spend €5000 or so - we only unlock cars and are delivered to GL's goodwill. I read these conditions a few years ago and it made me more aware.

Remember when we got the Battista as a free King in A8 with monster acceleration and heavy handling and then they gave those same stats to the Deus Vayanne (after the Battista's 2nd rebalancing)? Pepperidge Farm remembers... 😅 Whales don't have to spend money unless they want to. I mean look at us F2P, we haven't stopped playing just because we don't have the OP kings of the game. No reason to feel sorry for those who knew fully well that spending money is not a guarantee that their Cars won't get nerfed and it is extremely naive to expect otherwise. "Terms and Conditions apply..." What you pay for is what you get at that point in time. The new multiplayer is what i despise the most.Why force people to play certain cars that are either terrible or need keys to unlock.The whole point of saving your tokens was to get the best car you can afford in your class especially in B,A and S rank imola,huracan,F1lm,vanda etc. The most fun in this game is on multiplayer. getting from silver to legend league is what pushes people to play and invest their time and tokens.on android it keeps crashing but the store always works perfectly.😮💨
This is a complete fraud from GL, that's what I would say. Now I have trust issues towards them, because the exact same thing could happen to Absolut. It might be a real beast just like the Devel, but then they nerf it and introduce another king instead. I maxed the Devel but I'm in doubt about maxing Absolut now, although I was planning to do so...

You couldn't buy it with tokens. There were relay packs, but that gave you just a few blueprints. You had to spend real money.

Not sure whether to support this nerf or not. Devel nerf felt necessary since the car literally broke the game, and many players in Reddit community (the only one I’m in) wanted the car to be nerfed. It was simply too op, literally became a requirement for the leaderboard.
On the other hand, for a game that rarely does updates like this …… I would say it is too much. They should at least have it on par with Venom. Would’ve been better if there was a 1 second delay on the acceleration instead of nerfed drift speed.

I own the Devel too. This nerf really stings. A good rebalancing would've been to just fix the physics issue where the Devel accelerates while drifting but keep the drift radius. And also fix the issue where it loses more speed on ramps. And also fix some more of the physics issues.
Just saw the perfomance of the Absolute. Expected it to perform better but might have spent to at least get the Bolide. With the nerfs now, I won't do that.
At this point I'm only going go for the cars that I genuinely like rather than basing from their performance, and hopefully that would mitigate my sadness when I see any nerfs

I feel sad for those players who went all out spending money for this car😢...I feel like it should be illegal to nerf an item in which purchasing power is involved, ultimately players are buying an item based upon the stats and values a particular item shows...most of the won't go for that car if the present stats were showcased during the launch of the car.
devs side at fault for not doing balancing properly, yes they have tight deadline because of higher-ups, but that doesnt excuse them to take extra time to balance it to be fair.
Now remember, most community, like you Carson, will definitely remember this negative event forever latched in your mind.
Just like how many negative events (Raging Bull Season, Season Token nerf rant, etc.), it will be forever remembered, and it'll such haunt the devs to not try again, because it'll be more fire than the first time.
I wont be surprised if the unwanted consequences will be DS9 didnt get the profits higher than DS8 due to this nerf. And the shareholders will be full panic mode if that happens.

Its just to introduce new cars that are overranked. Just look at the Lotus ER-9, GL calls it a king, yet we all know for a fact that the McLaren F1LM is a crazy B-class car, still worthy of being called a king...

The ranking system is just crap … Just look at the top b and c class cars. Most of them are trash compared to lower ranked cars. Also why don‘t they test their cars before release. Are there no real players in GL. I can check in less than 10 Minutes if a car fits the rank or is underpowered.

I don’t have the devil sixteen. But that was a horrible move towards all the players that have spent the money on this car already. I hated that they implemented such a car to begin with, but I understood that it’s a business and they are trying to make money. But to nurf it so much. I just feel bad for all the people that did spend so much money on an in game car that you don’t even own. Ouch. For the rest of us. Yay 🎉 😂 I am sorry….

If gameloft keeps nerfing cars to make people spend on the new cars they bring. It sounds like a good strategy but come to think, if i spent money to get devel sixteen and then gameloft nerfed it for me to spend on absolut i actually won't spend ever again just for that singular act. Its better to spend and know that what you spent on will stay for you. It will even make you want to spend again knowing that it will still remain there unchanged

Hello, just a heads up.
The document made wasn’t specifically for Devel, rather it was an in depth 7 page Word document explaining suspension tuning in very high detail. Whilst there is no confirmation on whether the file was looked into or not for the Devel specifically (as far as I’ve heard, the rework was meant to go live many months ago but was delayed severely for whatever reason), I can at least verify that the development team has received the file, has looked into it and is making changes accordingly, including future car releases which you may have seen already
It cost $4200 to gold Max the Devel16 in Asphalt 9. How can they nerf or buff the car???!!! Thats crazy.

As you could see from the races made by AN, the Devel is pretty much the same except for the tweaks I mentioned. If you face a rival who has the point, he'll still win you with the new Devel

What they did is insanely unfair to players who spent thousands of dollars on the Devel. The F5 nerf on the other hand is minor so we can again call it the king. I had enough of p2w games scamming players so I’m likely gonna drop the game and boycott it, even though it’s my favourite game. More people should join the boycott and show gameloft we had enough of their shit.

This game has been a huge letdown. 1st off before the update i made a purchase for a legend pass. The payment went through and i didnt recieve it. I went ahead and paid again. I was never reimbursed for the double payment. Since the update the game constantly crashes during races and i lose fuel. I will never pay another dime on this game and if they dont fix the crashing i will delete the game and never look back. I play on my xbox. The game was free which is why i bought the pass in the 1st place to support the developers. Never again

Absolutely the d16 needed a nerf, but too far. The game dev gave ppl false hope during the release of the d16 with its broken stats and now its just a disappointment for the money needed to even unlock, let alone gold max it. The Venom was a problem compared to the Jesko, but the performance the D1 was beyond the rest of the cars despite its flaw. Now, they gotta buff the d16 , but not back t its origginal performance.

That would overflow the customer care system and Gameloft would have to just shut it down temporarily, which eventually would lead to nothing
welcome to the pixonic way of doing things... when they sell you new meta stuff in war robots (devel sixteen in our scenario), they will nerf it to mediocrity in a few months because they can, then sell you the next batch of meta so you use that instead (probably koenigsegg jesko absolute in our scenario) and nerf that later too.
I don't think the Absolute will be nerfed, they realized that the stats ceiling was somewhere around the old Devel stats, so they will just release cars slightly better than the prior one until they find something to use as the best car in the long run

I feel very bad for everyone who got the Devel 16. Even though that I don't "owned" the 16, but I know that the cost to acquire it is insane. You need to spend like 5000 dollars just for the key and the car at 3*. To max it, you will need to throw maybe a dozen thousand tokens or a few other hundred to thousand dollars to make it to 6*, not to mention the EIPs. At the cost of many thousand dollars just for an item that is " just merely a license to access it until whenever the companies wish for it to be available on our platform", people have the right to ask for the quaility of the item they bought. 5-7000 dollars maybe means nothing to Gameloft, but for players, that is a huge amount of money. With that amount of money, people can buy a real car. The main reason makes people willing to spend their precious money in the DS8 is because the top notch performance and how OP the 16 was. By spending that amount of money into this P2W game, people felt that the money they spent was worth. But now, they realize that the car they pround so much went down by the hand of the developer, as the point that the 16 is now like any other DS cars, where people didn't even bother to throw their money into. And, the worse thing that, we all realize that Gameloft can do anything with the game after they nerfed the 16. If they can do the thing that normally they don't dare or bother, that means they can do anything. They can make DS E-Tense becoming the new Class S king, by changing its class, make it have the top speed of 600 kmph, infinite nitrous, or they can make the Devel 16 becoming a forgotten D Class king, also by changing its class and nerf everything, everything can be possible. I don't dare to imagine anymore.
What are you're thoughts abou the Venom F5 nerf? Just let me know how quick is the amount of nitro to last after 3 points were wiped out.

This car has been physically cut, and it is recommended that the acceleration in the air and on the ground be the same to make up for the physical defects of the current version (Devil 16's acceleration in the air is much faster than that on the ground)

1: Según GL el auto cómo está actualmente es como querían que saliera en un principio en A9, entonces porque cuando se filtro no lo hicieron?
2: Si dejan el auto como está ahora con su radio de giro amplió, aceleración al derrapar muerta? no tengo problema pero si me gustaría que en ese caso si es la decisión final de gl, sería 10/10 que bufearan al auto a como iba salir originalmente con la velocidad maxima: 567 KMH y 86,7 de aceleración. No salió así debido a la filtración que se hizo del auto en su momento supuestamente por Afiq pero si lo hacen así gl estaría solucionando el problema completamente creo yo
3: Admega ya confirmó que el auto va a volver como estaba antes, ahora nose si exactamente igual O con ajustes (siendo así podria volver por ejemplo: Radio de giro cerrado pero sin aceleración en derrape o viceversa pero que si o si mantenga la velocidad como antes) Gameloft ya lo anda planeando y por lo que veo en el server de discord de ALU. Todos los dueños del auto a max con 2, 4 hasta 16 epicas (dorado) están quejándose como multitud y están metiendo tanta presión como lo fue el LP del Countach LPI en Raging Bull
Balance-wise I think it is good to buff/nerf certain cars. In this case the main problem was to release it that broken. So I completely understand the people that invested a ton of money are angry.
While it does suck for those who spent on Devel, I'm sure those who don't have it are glad since its not as dominant anymore (which sadly includes most people including me)
Since they nerf the Devel Sixteen, they might nerf the F5 turn into a sluggish or ubdersteer car, worse than Jesko Attack

Worst idea was to have an OP car in the first place. The nerf is justified since it creates a more level playing field. That said it's not nice for those who spend lots on it.
Like you say at around 6:20 we don't own anything in the game - even if you spend €5000 or so - we only unlock cars and are delivered to GL's goodwill. I read these conditions a few years ago and it made me more aware.
Devil 16 couldn't even reach 500 km/h in reality.
Gameloft just tried to solve their mistake and woke up to the reality.

That 50 km Difference doesn't make it better than jesko. If you have drove them both, you would know they are both about the same but devel loses

The new multiplayer is what i despise the most.Why force people to play certain cars that are either terrible or need keys to unlock.The whole point of saving your tokens was to get the best car you can afford in your class especially in B,A and S rank imola,huracan,F1lm,vanda etc.
The most fun in this game is on multiplayer. getting from silver to legend league is what pushes people to play and invest their time and tokens.on android it keeps crashing but the store always works perfectly.😮💨

This is a complete fraud from GL, that's what I would say. Now I have trust issues towards them, because the exact same thing could happen to Absolut. It might be a real beast just like the Devel, but then they nerf it and introduce another king instead. I maxed the Devel but I'm in doubt about maxing Absolut now, although I was planning to do so...
