This is hands down the best comparison on the 2 cars! I had an F80 M3 and while quick, I felt no connection or oneness with it.I wanted to love it so bad but couldn't. I ended up getting an E92 M3 instead which I love and now looking for an OG M2 to add to the stable as well 😁

Those 0-60 times are awful, but accurate. If you want 0-60 times, BMW rwd isn’t for you. But, boy my m4 after launch when it picks up traction is just an animal and I’m only running stage 1 on all stock internals.

The infotainment in the 2018 m2 is far superior to the 2015 f type r.. that being said the infotainment is a little better in the 2017+ F-types. My F-type gets more attention, from car people and from non-car people. Which would I choose? That’s tough man, m2 comp or m2? Jag ftype r or v6? I love how nimble and tossable the m2 is. The f type r would destroy the m2 on a highway run and anything else besides a tight twisty road. If you love for tight twisty road driving or you MUST have a manual.. get the m2. If you want a very capable gt, sex appeal and a v8.. the jag is your answer.
Hey Conner, I am from France (25 years old) I had an M4 for a while and now I own an M2 (both DCTs) and I totally agree with the plane comparison ! But honestly I feel like even with the « wall feel » it’s a more lovable car... I loved the M4 but the power difference in France only mean that you ll go to prison quicker... The M2 is a more appealing car, the noise is a bit better and I have a bigger sense of occasion while I drive it ! But otherwise I have the same conclusion both are great cars it only depends what you re looking for ! Anyway love your videos keep the good work 😊

That would be an epic combo man. I think the m2 will be the e46 of the future, it’ll be raced/tracked like crazy when it’s cheaper

The DCT has a preprogrammed launch control sequence. It’s pretty simple, you’ll learn quickly!

Yea the crank hub is also something to consider, but there are a lot of cheap aftermarket solutions to that so I wouldn’t be worried
