What I also saw before walking down the road towards Rome was the similarities between the miraculous conception prophecies of Abraham & Sarah and Zechariah with Sarah laughing at the possibility and Zechariah asking for proof vs Mary’s confused question of “How will this be since I am a virgin?” and her humble “Behold the Lord’s bond-servant; let it be according to your word.” This struck me so hard as an evangelical that I thought to myself “Now I get why Catholics think so highly of Mary.” About ten years later I received first Eucharist and was confirmed as I entered into communion with the Catholic Church at Easter Vigil 2019. Great video!

Much respect, that was a great explanation. I am thinking about converting to catholicism myself. However, I have one question: if Mary was completely sinless by the grace of God, she had no free will?

    • @CatholicTruthOfficial
      @CatholicTruthOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

She had free will, but she cooperated with God's grace. Since she was born without original sin, she did not have the same concupiscence as we do (tendency toward sin, the weakness of the flesh), and so it was easier for her. But she did have free will, sort of like we will all have free will in heaven, but will not sin against God.
Hope that helps. We will pray for you and are here to help you on your journey should you need us. God bless!

I was struggling with a sin for a very long time... in one of my recent confessions, the priest confronted me on the wrong I was doing by using contraception... I decided with my wife that we will give it up.. the next thing I know I was filled with grace to give up that particular sin...now imagine mother Mary being in the state of grace every moment of her life.... so when the angel came to her, because she was filled with grace, the chances of here saying "yes" were far greater than an average woman in the world... the gift of free will is what separates humans from Angels although angles are far superior to us in all ways... hope this helps..

In the old testament scripture there were men who was taken up into heaven, Enoch & Elijah.
It's God's choice and His will.
    Genesis 5:21-24 (KJV)
And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
    2 Kings 2 (KJV)
And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
And yet, when we talk about Mary suddenly it becomes blasphemous?
In the New Testament, the new Ark is not an inanimate object, but a person: Mary. How much more pure would the new Ark be when we consider the old ark was a mere “shadow” in relation to it (see Heb. 10:1)? This image of Mary as the Ark of the Covenant is an indicator that Mary would fittingly be free from all contagion of sin to be a worthy vessel to bear God in her womb. And most importantly, just as the Old Covenant Ark was pristine from the moment it was constructed with explicit divine instructions in Exodus 25, so would Mary be pure from the moment of her conception. God, in a sense, prepared his own dwelling place in both the Old and New Testaments.
The Ark of the Covenant contained three “types” of Jesus inside: manna, Aaron’s rod, and the Ten Commandments. In Hebrew, commandment (dabar) can be translated “word.” Compare: Mary carried the fulfillment of all these types in her body. Jesus is the “true [manna] from heaven” (John 6:32), the true “High Priest” (Heb. 3:1), and “the word made flesh” (John 1:14).
The glory cloud (Hebrew Anan) was representative of the Holy Spirit, and it “overshadowed” the Ark when Moses consecrated it in Ex. 40:32-33. The Greek word for “overshadow” found in the Septuagint is a form of episkiasei. Compare: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God” (Luke 1:35). The Greek word for “overshadow” is episkiasei.
David “leapt and danced” before the Ark when it was being carried into Jerusalem in procession in 2 Sam. 6:14-16. Compare: As soon as Elizabeth heard the sound of Mary’s salutation, John the Baptist “leaped for joy” in her womb (cf. Luke 1:41-44).
After a manifestation of the power of God working through the Ark, David exclaims, “How can the Ark of the Lord come unto me?” Compare: After the revelation to Elizabeth about the true calling of Mary, who was carrying God in her womb, Elizabeth exclaims, “Why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” (Luke 1:43)
The Ark of the Lord “remained in the house of Obededom . . . three months” in 2 Sam. 6:11. Compare: “Mary remained with [Elizabeth] for about three months” (Luke 1:56).
Mary was chosen by GOD Himself, it's His choice and His will.
    Luke 1:28-30 (KJV)
And the angel came in unto her, and said, HAIL, THOU THAT ART HIGHLY FAVOURED, THE LORD IS WITH THEE: blessed art thou among women.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
And the angel said unto her, FEAR NOT, MARY: FOR THOU HAST FOUND FAVOUR WITH GOD.

Hi Brian, thanks for making this video.. I used to struggle with the church dogmas and used to try to run away from them becuase I couldn't understand them.. thanks be to God, I now realise how these dogmas actually help to clear the doubts on "Jesus" rather than glorify mother Mary.. take for example the immaculate(IC) conception of Mary.. if you don't define it, then you actually have the original sin passed on from Mary to Jesus and then He cannot be the sinless one offering himself on the cross.. the whole salvation through Jesus is then questionable.. any average atheist can point this out.... the question of "how" the IC of mother Mary happened, is something still a mystery to me... not sure what the tradition says about the birth of mother Mary (old age virginal conception or something) if you have any material on this from tradition, it would be helpful... please keep up the good work that you are doing.. your videos are actually going beyond your country to people thirsting for understanding the catholic faith also through reason as well.. Luke 1:46-47 "And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
What does Mary need to be saved from if She has no sin?
Why does She need a Savior? A Savior from what?
Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
So the answer here is "all" doesn't mean "all"? This sounds like President Clinton in Court.
So Mary is excluded from the "all" here?
Who else is excluded from the "all"
I'm sorry just struggling with this.
So when Paul writes "for all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God", what he means is there is a group of people somewhere who have not sinned? Mary is part of that group?

@@donhaddix3770 That statement makes sense to me, Mary had a human father, therefore Sin nature. Jesus is both fully God and Fully Human. Mary is the mother of the Human part of Jesus so I think She deserves much respect. She was chosen by God to do this. However and I may be wrong, but my issue is that it was Jesus who created Mary, No? Jesus existed before his incarnation, Jesus existed before Mary and is Mary's creator, God and Savior, just as She herself states in Luke 1:46-47. Jesus said, Before Abraham was, I AM. It seems to me, to say Mary has no sin is to make Her equal with God. For all have sinned and fall short of God. Mary is made sinless, but by the blood of Jesus, but She was not sinless from the start. Or am I missing something?

Dear Bryan, thank you for recommending this.
I still find myself torn in two. You know my stand. I believe we have NO idea what Jesus really wanted us to do because of the scant historical record and that the gospels which were written after Paul who wrote the first books of the new testaments are necessarily tainted by his views. He who never met Jesus.
I think the idea of the immaculate conception dogma is to satisfy the Hellenistic subconscious that Paul reached out to. They were pagan and were used to a pantheon. Just my opinion.
The Jews then wouldn’t have needed it. The stricter then, as today, were looking for a messiah from the house David. And I think the Heck, I wouldn’t have needed it, if the son of God revealed himself to me as the son of a sinner man junkie, I would believe it based on *merit.* and I believe Jesus’s first followers KNEW he wasn’t of David’s line but still didn’t care. He came from Galilee. He was good, more than good, that’s good enough sure.
I also don’t think the old testaments support the immaculate conception ie that genesis 3:15 has anything to do with Mary. If you’re reading the Septuagint I’d suggest reading the Hebrew.
    More regarding Mary.
Do you find it odd that of four gospels, only two address the nativity, and they both contradict each other?
One (Luke) says they came from Nazareth for a census which historically has less basis for having happened than Jesus has for existing. The concept of such a census is ridiculous anyway, you’d want to know who was living in your area of jurisdiction and Nazareth and Bethlehem.. well, one’s in Judea, the other isn’t.
Matthew does not say where they originate but I imagine he tries to portray Joseph coming from Bethlehem but completely contradicts Luke’s account by saying they flee to Egypt, probably for many months to years.
Which one is? Flee to Egypt or not? If they cannot get these basic facts right, and the other 2 remain silent, how can we be sure of the virgin birth. How can we be sure this is not another one of Paul’s ideas?
*How can you be sure the doves were sacrificed so?*
Note also the gradual change from the Subtle Mark to the Overt John about Jesus being God, the christology imo has a distinct different flavour.
What is likely, taking Mark as the earliest gospel and hopefully the *least influenced* by umm. *evolving ideas* ... is that he was not really concerned about his birth, is that they were from around Galilee in Judea.
*And there was probably a school of thought that did not think this was important.*
    John. Everything.
And .... we have Paul. Not Jesus’s own brother’s words (James) nor Peter’s.
Who was made to look after Mary when he died. Why didn’t he say something.
And curiously, if he was to rise again, why would he appoint someone to look after his mother?
All is not what it seems, my brothers and sisters. It is 2 thousand years, we only really have Paul’s story, I contend. Debate?

She said that if Russia wasn’t consecrated to her Immaculate Heart it would spread it’s errors throughout the world. The Bolshevik revolution started in 1918 and she was absolutely correct. I don’t think that Russia has yet been properly consecrated to her as she requested to this day. There were about 150,000,000 people that were slaughtered on the twentieth century due to communism which started in Russia in 1918. Then she performed the miracle of the sun on October 13 1917 in front of 70,000 people where they watched it dance in the sky, spin and throw all kinds of different colors while it was spinning and then people panicked and thought it was going to crash into the earth.
When she appeared in Kibeho Rwanda in 1982 she told 3 Catholic school girls that if people didn’t get rid of the hate in their hearts that rivers of blood would flow. 1,000,000 Tutsi’s were machete’d and shot to death by the Hutu tribe in Rwanda in 1994. She accurately predicted that genocide 12 years before it happened.
Don’t be afraid of the Blessed Mother. You can never love her more than Jesus does. He gave her to the whole world from the Cross when He said Woman behold thy son, and to the beloved disciple (which all Christians are) behold thy mother, and from that day forward the Beloved Disciple took her into his home. He wants all of us to take her into our homes as our mother. It was extremely important for Him to say this because he was suffocating to death as He said it.

The title is Co-redemptrix. It's a Latin word that does _not_ mean coredeemer but rather "A woman with the Redeemer" showing how Mary participated with Christ in bringing salvation into the world. She said yes to God, and so salvation came in Christ through her womb. It's not an official title of the Catholic Church. @Carissa Hanson - did you watch the whole video? Let me share with you the true teachings about Mary especially item 4) which tells you the reasoning from the Bible why Mary is sinless :
      Catholics honour Mother Mary because
      1. She is the Mother of Jesus, our Lord and deserves our respect.
      2. Her role in our salvation is foretold in Genesis 3:15 when God told the Devil
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."
She is the only human being whom God has chosen for His plan to save the fallen human race - Jesus has to be born as a Man to have a lasting binding New Covenant with God as all other Covenants were broken. To be born as a man, Jesus needs to be born of a woman. Mary is obedient to God and said yes. She didn't ask for God's plan. I would and how shall my life be impacted. Who will take care of me when I grow old. Mary trusted God but a sword pierced her heart Luke 2:35 when Jesus was crucified. She gave Jesus his human DNA. So whilst Jesus did the saving, Mary was instrumental in out salvation. If Mary didn't said yes, and some other woman did, then we will honour this other woman none the lesser.
      3. As Jesus is the King of Kings, Mother Mary is the Queen Mother. Just as Bathsheba interceded for the king's subjects in 1 Kings 2:19
When Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah, the king stood up to meet her, bowed down to her and sat down on his throne. He had a throne brought for the king's mother, and she sat down at his right hand.
Mother Mary Mary intercedes for all of us. Reference the Wedding at CanaJohn 2 : 1 to 12 when Christ performed His first miracle, even though He initially said it wasnt His time yet. Mother Mary didn't tell Jesus what to do but directs the servants to Jesus, just as she directs us now to Jesus. The focus and glory is always in Jesus. Intercession proves that the final decision and call still lies with God and Mary is not a deity.
      4. God killed Uzzah in 2 Sam 6:6 to 7 for touching the Ark of the Old Covenant :
When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.
Despite doing a good deed by stabilising a falling Ark, Uzzah was deemed unworthy and to have defile the Ark.
The Ark of the old Covenant carried the Word of God in stone. Mother Mary carried the Word of God in flesh. She is thus sinless as she had to carried the Living Word of God in her womb for 9 months. Uzzah was struck dead by a mere touch. What's more 9 months of pregnancy? Thus we honour Mother Mary for carrying the Living Word of God. The sacredness and holiness of the Old Ark was evident by Uzzah's slaying, what's more the New Ark which is carrying Jesus.
      5. Jesus the King of Kings bestowed Queenship on His mother Rev 12 :1
A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
This woman is Mary because she is in heaven where God is. The only human being God will allow Queenship in heaven is Jesus's mother - the Queen Mother of the King of Kings. This woman is not the Church as some Protestants claim because in subsequent verses.Rev 12 : 2 to 5 this woman gave birth to a son which will rule all nations and whom the devil wanted to harm but couldn't. The only human that can stand up to the devil is Jesus.
      REV 12 : 2 to 5
And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne
      6. We honour Mother Mary because we are grateful to her for saying Yes to God, when she was still an unmarried woman but had to bear Jesus, thereby being instrumental in the human race's salvation.
      7. We honour Mother Mary because she was obedient to God and is our model of ideal discipleship. She didn't ask for God's detail operation plan, what's going to happen to her when she is found pregnant in old conservative Jewish society, how to answer to Joseph when he found out she is pregnant before their marriage, how is Mary going to live on financially if Joseph divorce her, what role is her son going to undertake etc. Nothing. No details needed. No assurances needed. Just a simple yes to God. And God is pleased with faithful disciples just as He is pleased with Abraham for his faithfulness.
For these reasons, Mother Mary deserves our honour - just as how the Early Church honours her for 1500 years till the Reformation. The Orthodox Christians who broke away from the Catholic Church honours Mother Mary.
Martin Luther, the Father of the Protestant Reformation loves Mother Mary, honours her and prays the rosary.
The following are Luther 's sermons on Mary :
The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human heart. (Sermon, September 1, 1522).
[She is the] highest woman and the noblest gem in Christianity after Christ. ..She is nobility, wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honor her enough. Still honor and praise must be given to her in such a way as to injure neither Christ nor the Scriptures. (Sermon, Christmas, 1531).
No woman is like you. You are more than Eve or Sarah, blessed above all nobility, wisdom, and sanctity. (Sermon, Feast of the Visitation. 1537).
One should honor Mary as she herself wished and as she expressed it in the Magnificat. She praised God for his deeds. How then can we praise her? The true honor of Mary is the honor of God, the praise of God's grace.. .Mary is nothing for the sake of herself, but for the sake of Christ...Mary does not wish that we come to her, but through her to God. (Explanation of the Magnificat, 1521).
Luther goes even further, and gives the Blessed Virgin the exalted position of "Spiritual Mother" for Christians, much the same as in Catholic piety:
It is the consolation and the superabundant goodness of God, that man is able to exult in such a treasure. Mary is his true Mother, Christ is his brother. God is his father. (Sermon. Christmas, 1522)
Mary is the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of us even though it was Christ alone who reposed on her knees...If he is ours, we ought to be in his situation; there where he is, we ought also to be and all that he has ought to be ours, and his mother is also our mother. (Sermon, Christmas, 1529).
Catholics honour Mother Mary but we also believed that Christ is still the only mediator with God. Christ and Christ alone.

@Carissa Hanson. A simple answer why Mary is born sinless is because Jesus is holy and sinless. Mary carried Jesus in her womb for 9 months. So Mary as a carrier of a pure, holy Jesus needs to be sinless to carry Jesus. Look T 2 Sam 6:6 Uzziah was killed by God because Uzziah touched the Ark of the Old Covenant carrying the Word of God in stone (10 commandments) . So Jesus as the New Covenant, the Word of God in flesh was carried in the New Ark of the Covenant which needs to be kept holy and sinless just like the Ark of the Old Covenant.

Mary was not without a sin nature. Mary had children other than Jesus (Mk 6:3, Matt 13:55, Jn 7:3, Acts 1:13, 1 Cor 9:5). Mary was human, fully human, and she died just like we all have to die. I do not recall you using foreshadows and types on this topic of Genesis 3:15 in your video. There is a difference between staying in context with who God was actually speaking to in this chapter and using typology to indicate a future event. Actually, the entire Old Testament points to the coming of Messiah Jesus (John 5:39) "......testifies of ME."
"The enmity" spoken of in verse 15 is the serpent's seed of deceit versus those who would be also born of fallen Eve; yet, having been made righteous before God through faith; for the scripture says that "Jesus (the Truth) was slain before the foundation of the world."
The foreshadowing and type in the above Genesis passage has its place here, as does the entire Old Testament, but the emphasis must be always pointing to Jesus (John 5:39). Yes, there are inferences in the OT pertaining to Jesus being born of a woman; however, a woman who was born of the fallen seed of Eve, and chosen by God to bring forth a male child born of the seed of God without a fallen nature.

To say that Mary was born without the stain of original sin---and remained sinless---is to say that she was not born of the fallen seed of Adam. If Mary was not born of the fallen seed of Adam, then Mary's mother was not either; and right on down the line. If what you are espousing is true, then Mary takes-on the God incarnate mode, because only God is sinless.
Then again, the Roman Catholic Church has been on a crusade for years to place Mary above all other mighty men and women of God found from Genesis to Revelation.
Jesus never did anything of the kind concerning His mother. He went as far as making a point of it in Luke 11: 27&28.
The woman in the crowd wanted to make a strong point about the power of the women's role of bringing forth children. Could you imagine how taken aback this woman was, when Jesus responded the way He did about His mother? Jesus' response was revealing (to all who were within the sound of His voice) that no one is more blessed than the one who hears the word of God and keeps it.
In as much as Mary is called blessed among all women, because of being chosen by God to bring forth salvation; it surely does not include blessed among all people.

"Therefore hear the Word of The Lord, for thus says The Lord: Do not be deceived; let satan gain no foothold. For there is but One God and One Savior, One Deliverer in the Day of Wrath. Again, I say to you, do not be deceived. Satan can not change his visage and become man. He is what he is, and remains who he became to this day. He is heylel, son of the morning, with a heart like the abyss. And those fallen are like him, corrupted by those same things which consume him.
Yet satan has indeed appeared to men, sending them strong delusions, preying upon that which already dwells within them; even imitating Mary, the mother of The Messiah, deceiving those who remain ignorant of the Truth, leading a multitude away into false worship and idolatry. So then satan only imitates the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is only doing what comes natural to him, because he is a liar and the father of all lies. Thus he does indeed wear many disguises, and delights in leading My people astray. For by clever words and dark speeches he bears false witness, leading multitudes away into faiths which are dead - FALSE RELIGIONS! DETESTABLE PRACTICES! ABOMINATIONS!
YahuShua HaMashiach is The Gift, He is The Only Way; there is salvation in no other, nor any other name under Heaven by which you must be saved. Thus ALL religions of this world are an abomination in the eyes of The Most High God! Every one of them pollutes the land and spreads forth like a plague! Behold, even those who bear My name have become like them! Not one worships Me in spirit or in truth, all have gone astray! Corrupt workers, arrogant assemblies, you worship yourselves!
Yes even you, O churches of men, have corrupted the Word of Truth, and do not cease from polluting My name! You misuse My name and abuse My Word, subverting the people through false doctrine and filthy tradition! You encourage them to forsake My Commandments and ignore My every decree! In the name of The Holy One, you cause My people to sin! By permission, UNDER GRACE, you encourage them to transgress The Commandments of God, teaching and preaching to them another messiah, adding to and taking away from My Word to uphold your own way, and all for the sake of unjust gain! Shall I not discipline you for these things?! Shall I not bring down My hand hard upon you?! Shall I not come forth swiftly and wipe ALL religions from the face of the earth?!
Yet true faith has a name, and true religion yields fruit of the same: A Bride who obeys the voice of her Husband and walks in His ways, a people worthy to be called by His name. Yet the light has departed from the churches of men, The Word of Truth is hidden from their eyes. All is corrupt and dying, darkness fills the earth.
And so The Word was sent, and came into
The world to seek and to save the lost...
And behold, He is coming again, to deliver His own,
    All those who believe and live by The Word;
And to destroy those who fight against The Word,
For they too are bound by The Word...
    For The Word stands forever...
    Immovable and everlasting, unchangeable,
Having complete authority over all things,
The light and the dark, the righteous and the wicked...
Indeed, the whole universe is set within
The confines of His will, giving heed to Him
Who created it, forever and ever...

You are mistaken. The Immaculate conception has nothing to do with whether or not Mary had any intimate relations with a man. The Immaculate conception refers to the sinless conception of Mary in her own mother's womb. It is not referring to the conception of Jesus in Mary's womb. When she asked the angel: "how can this be since I know not man?", She wasn't denying her immaculate conception -- she was simply trying to find out how she was going to have a child without knowing a man. (And that is why the angel went on to explain to her that it was going to happen through the power of the Holy Spirit)
Secondly, Mary is the Mother of God because Jesus is EQUAL to God since He has the exact same nature (i.e the divine nature) as His Father

The commandments (law) was given to show us that salvation by oursevles was impossible, that we are all (the whole of humanity on the whole earth for all history)!
Mary was a sinner, she admits as much in her prayer and with her conversation with the angel Gabriel. This teaching in light of scripture is therefore false no matter how much you try to explain it. @@39knights I choose to ignore ur insults on my humble person and continue to enlighten u with biblical Truth so that all those u have deceived for close to 2000 years will finally see the Light!
Mary the mother of Jesus was a godly and blessed woman, but she was not without sin. Jesus was the only human without sin. Jesus “had no sin” (2 Corinthians 5:21). “In him is no sin” (1 John 3:5). Nothing of the sort is ever said of Mary or anyone else. Jesus Christ is fully human, but He is also fully God (John 1:1). He is the Lamb of God, “without blemish or defect” (1 Peter 1:19), a title and description no other person can claim.
As an ordinary part of the human race, born into the world the ordinary way, Mary was not without sin. Romans 3:23 teaches that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, and there is nothing in the Bible to suggest that Mary was an exception to this rule. The apostle John wrote, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us” (1 John 1:8-10). The “we” in this passage includes Mary, the mother of Jesus. To claim Mary is without sin is an example of “deceit.”
To help bolster their teaching that Mary was sinless, the Roman Catholic Church has invented the doctrine of the Immaculate Conception (formally accepted as Catholic dogma in 1854). According to this false teaching, Mary was, from her very conception in her mother’s womb, “preserved free from all stain of original sin.” That is, Mary had no sinful nature. This doctrine is neither biblical nor necessary. The virgin-born Christ Jesus was free from the stain of original sin, but it was not necessary for His mother to be-or His grandmother-or His great-grandmother, etc. How far back would we have to go to insure Jesus’ perfection, if it were necessary for Mary to be sinless?
Rather than teach that Mary was sinless, the Bible gives evidence that she was a normal person with a normal person’s need of salvation. In Mary’s praise-filled, humble prayer in Luke 1, she says, “My spirit rejoices in God my Savior” (verse 47). If she were sinless, she would not have needed a “Savior.” Mary receives a gentle rebuke from Jesus in John 2:4, which hardly seems fitting if she were sinless.
Catholicism also teaches that the reference to Mary being “highly favored” (Luke 1:28) and one who was “blessed . . . among women” (Luke 1:42) supports the view of a sinless Mary. However, neither verse makes such a claim. It is possible to be blessed and know God’s favor without being sinless. Catholic teaching also describes Mary as “full of grace,” but that phrase is found only twice in the Bible, and neither time is it in reference to Mary. Jesus is said to be “full of grace” (John 1:14), and so is Stephen (Acts 6:8).
The veneration of Mary in Catholicism and some other liturgical religious systems has led to the unbiblical claim that Mary was without sin. Other unbiblical doctrines have also cropped up around the view of a sinless Mary: the teaching that she was a perpetual virgin, that she hears and answers our prayers, that she shares in our redemption, and that she is a mediator of grace, to name a few. Those who revere a sinless Mary are being “led astray from . . . sincere and pure devotion to Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3).
The Mary Cult is definitely not about Miriam the Mother of Jesus from every indication, it must be another Mary 😂😂😂

      @@39knights
MARY WAS A SINNER, NEEDED A SAVIOR, HAD MORE THAN FOUR CHILDREN, AND IS NOT MEDIATRIX.
Proof of her being a sinner
Firstly, all men have sinned, including Mary, and fallen short of the glory of God [Rom 3:23], and through one man sin entered the world and death spread to all men [Rom 5:12]. King David writing in Psalms says that he was brought forth in iniquity and in sin when his mother conceived him - biblical proof of mankinds sinful nature from the time of conception. [Psa 51:5]. According to the law of Moses every mother that conceived, either a male or female, had to after an appointed time offer sacrifices to God: one as a burnt offering, and one as a sin offering [Lev.12]. Mary, after conceiving Jesus made these sacrifices in accordance and obedience to the Law God gave to Moses. This is clearly indicated to us in the book of Luke chap. 2 ver. 21-24, as Mary applies this very observance as is required of every Jewish woman who conceives her first born son. Read Leviticus 12 is first, understand what is being said, then read Luke 2:21-24. Once reading and understanding what is being said, it is clear that the offering Mary offers makes according to ... law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. [Lk.2:24], ... the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: ... [Lev. 12:8]. The sin offering Mary gives is sufficient evidence Mary's carnality.
      In need of a Saviour
Other proof of Mary being a sinner is found when Mary declares the need of a saviour. One is only in need of a saviour when realizing they are helpless and hopeless; that God in Christ having paid the penalty for the sins of mankind, is the One in Whom we are able to find redemption. [Col.1:12-14]. Mary also said, "My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour" [Luke 1:46,47]. Again, Mary admits her estate as the handmaiden of God and not "Mother of God". Admiting her estate as a handmaiden because God used her instrumentally as a vessel to conceive the Lord Jesus Christ. By Mary s own words, she removes any idea of pre-emanance so as not to assume exaltation above God s calling upon her life. "For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed" [Luke 1:48].
      Had more than four children
The Scriptures catergorically state the family Jesus had, and that Mary did conceive after the birth of Jesus. She never remained a virgin, and can never be considered "immaculate" as the Roman Catholic Church has exalteded her to be. "Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?" (Mat 13:55,56).
      Not Mediatrix
Mary as mediatrix is unfounded in Scripture. Scripture tells us who makes intercession for the saints before the Father.
There are two mediators in Scripture, who are:
      Firstly, the Lord Jesus Christ.
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to
continue by reason of death: But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. [Heb 7:22-25].
      Secondly, the Holy Spirit.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. [Rom 8:26,27].
Get the Truth from scripture and not from ur pagan man made dogmas!!! 🤨
