I am subscribed and watch all of your videos on TH-cam. I retired last August and my wife and I are considering to buy an rv and live full time on the road. Just trying to learn as much as possible while we deal with her medical issues. We use to team driving an 18wheeler for a few years until she couldn't. The future is looking good, looking forward to it. Keep the great videos coming.

We were at the Tampa RV show and narrowed our list down to two RV’s - the new Fleetwood Bounder 35 GL and the Tiffin Allegro 34 PA….It was a hard decision because they each had such fabulous layouts!! We did end up going with the Tiffin but yes, the Fleetwood Bounder looked really nice!

Wow-fantastic tour. You should do more of these because you’re really good at it. You weren’t rushing, it flowed so well AND you did such a nice job of weaving in all your knowledge and experience to help less experienced RV’ers see the benefits and use-cases that would be well-served by this Bounder. It’s absolutely a gorgeous rig/condo and a floor plan that I’d love to live in full time. Alas, as a retired solo traveler I don’t think I can take on a Class A by myself. Sticking with the B+ as I shop, learn and dream of myself doing this for a couple of years. Thanks so much. I’m now going to watch your other tours from the show.

This is a very nice RV. I haven't toured too many Class As and the point that having the door not right into the cockpit makes sense. The swivel dining table makes a lot of sense as does the cockpit desk.

Great review! We have a 2021 Bounder 35k and saw this at the show and instantly fell in love too. If we were buying this year - we would have bought this for the exact reasons you showed: great kitchen area, great table, and great bathroom. It also has a rear window so an awesome view parking pull in or back in. Enjoyed the review!

I agree with you on the separate shower & toilet room with the 2 sinks. We have that type of set up in our RV and it really works for us. We are considering downsizing & I don't want to give that option up! But we are not full time and we would like to have a smaller rig to get around in.

If you put a cpap in the cabinet you need to keep the door open while sleeping so air and oxygen circulate in by the machine, so the light would be on all night.

I loved the idea of the lowering bed over the cab area in out 2015 FW Storm, but in truth it was used a total of 5 nights in the 6 years we owned it. I am assuming the Bounder had the new 8.1L V8 engine.

Great job on the video. Pretty inside but the lack of a full-wall slide really cuts down on livable space. No place for our dog beds! The hallway to the bedroom looks squeezed.
Not liking those pop-up electrical outlets by the sink---they take up valuable counter space and I can just see them getting wet and shorting out or worse.
Also not liking the non-ducted air conditioning units. We've had them in a Class C and now have ducted units in our Newmar Bay Star and the ducted system is so much quieter.
Definitely do NOT like the batteries sitting on top of the propane tank!!
But yes, it's pretty and you guys did a great job of showing it---thanks!

  • @miatolliver3517
    @miatolliver3517 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Dang! This floorplan ticks all the boxes! It actually does seem like a small apartment. The only improvement I wish the manufacturers would add is the exit door in the WC. After a certain age the idea of rappelling out of the bedroom window in case of emergency loses its appeal, what with the danger of broken bones when dropping that many feet to the ground. Other than that, it's a great model. I'll be looking at this one when we retire.

Hello there, thank you for a great video. I have a 38.6 Coachmen Santara in the UK which is challenging on UK roads as my youtube channel shows haha, it's my 2nd Coachmen, love them although both models don't provide enough heat in the bedroom so I had to put in a diesel heater. Here in UK diesel is around $9 a gallon so many RV owners run on LPG. Also do you guys or anyone know where in the States to buy cheap or used parts for Rv's?

I was waiting to see how the inside all flowed together with a long-shot from one end to the other. The rig “appeared” to be rather choppy, especially where the kitchen cabinets swing around into the middle.

I enjoyed the tour, thank you. It appears that Fleetwood has really put some thought into this - as you mentioned - relatively short RV. Four TVs?? I loved that convertible dining table, that is a great idea. The work table for the passenger... another super idea. One item that I don't believe you mentioned was that the cupboard shelves are adjustable. Great layout.
What I disliked was not on Fleetwood, as such.... the refrigerator. I recently bought that exact fridge for my new, south Texas RV-Casita (port home). It was the only counter-depth, "reasonably-priced" fridge with a workable delivery time. Though it works as it should, I don't like it. Reaching above or below the door to open it is a nuisance. The no-handle design is *exceptionally* prone to finger/hand prints. However, a minor complaint in such a well-designed layout. Thank you!

Nice review. Agree with a couple others, panning out to see the entire floor plan at different angles is important and really couldn't get a feel of it in this video. Also, don't need the background music. I get many creators want trendy videos with the background soundtrack, but RV review watchers are interested in the rig and the presenters comments, not theatrics. You seem to really enjoy giving reviews and it shows - look forward to more!

Tony, I read this really good rule of thumb, 3-6-9. Start at 9am, drive no more than 6 hours, end at 3pm. It generally holds true, not every day you can start at 9 am not end at 3 pm. That 6 hours includes some breaks, working out to about 300 miles. When conditions are good we have gone over 400 miles.

I've been a full-time Rv'er for nearly 7 years now. All my rigs have been class A, starting with a 1996, 38ft Thor Pinnacle, a 1996 40ft, Fleetwood Bounder. And now my first diesel pusher, a1999 Fleetwood Discovery V37. With that, a person soon learns what to look for that best suits them for their full-time experience.
Great coverage of this rv by the way.
I have to say Nope. I Don't like this floor plan. 👎
I like how the storage is heated. 👍
The lighter colors remind me of the 1980's. Sooo, no. 👎
I prefer the all in one washer & dryer vented over having two of them. Though having two separate units makes getting laundry done faster.
You didn't mention how many furnaces it had. I only saw one. I have two 35000 BTU w/ heated basement.
One thing I really didn't like was the bedroom. 👎
The floors I liked. Makes for faster cleaning, however, it reduces insulation, and it allows more road noise to pass through.
Over all its nice. But not for me as a full-time Rv'er.
Great job on the rv coverage. Looking forward to seeing the next one. 😀

People who love a single sink, you put soap in the sink to wash dishes, but how is it you are rinsing the dishes without over filling the sink ?
Don't say you use a bucket/container for your soapy water, because you are simply making a double sink out of that plan.
