    Thank You for such a great trainer video using the Total Gym. This one of the best lower body workouts with great creativity using the bands and weight bar.

    I was looking into a pilates reformer and I came across total gym and realized I can do pilates and strength training. This machine is awesome I'm so excited to get mine.. plus way cheaper than a reformer. I will purchase the pilates bar and I've also purchased the extra large squat thingy lol plus several resistance bands! Thanks for your videos they are quality 👌

      No problem Tasha. Very happy you found the channel. A total gym is truly a very cool experience as you're only limited to your own creativity / abilities that grows the more you use the machine.

    Love your channel. I have had a hard time thinking of different ways to use the machine to isolate different areas and you take all the guess work out of it for me. I am older (58) and love my total gym because I am very prone to tendonitis and this machine really helps with that. Thank you so much.

    great video. i like doing those sliding lunges but facing towards the tower rather than away. makes you pull forwards and up with the glutes a bit more. the extra kick back at the end a good idea

    G'day mate, I love your channel, you inspired me to buy a Total Gym Extreme from Australian Costco. I am even considering buying a better model soon. Thanks again for your awesome work.

      Great to hear thank you. Very cool hearing from others in different countries. Good to you know they are still pretty accessible outside the US. Thanks again for the comments and for watching.

    How much are the total gym and the equipment cost

    • @hybridresistance
      @hybridresistance  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on if you get it full price or used. You can find used ones VERY cheap, otherwise you're looking at around $200-$1200 for a total gym.

    I got one question. Does the chest press on this machine seem harder then doing 1 body weight dip on a dip bar…. I usually do a lot of dips and pus ups, just wondering rep per rep what’s your opinion

    • @hybridresistance
      @hybridresistance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd say it depends on a few things. If you're at higher inclines, going at a moderate pace, and especially if you weigh more then I'd say as far as difficulty is fairly comparable. But I would say they are just different exercises. A dip you're really having to use all your weight versus being on an incline. Also I've noticed different machines have a different feeling of resistance. Not sure if that helps.

    Omfg please make a workout series

    • @hybridresistance

      I do have workout videos in playlists. Was there something in particular you want to see, or do you mean just a formal "series" done for some workouts? Thanks for watching.

      I generally prefer to use my Total Gym Fit, but I'll be breaking out the new Proform Body Works I got in more videos.

    Love rope pull throughs, they're basically fake deadlifts for us more challanged folks.

    No good for people who have the older total gyms like the 1000 which doesn't have the attachments that you use😢

    • @hybridresistance
      @hybridresistance  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Given the low cost of the some the APEX models and if people can find room in their budget, I often recommend that it's worth the upgrade to make use of all the great attachments.

      Thanks for getting back to me. As I live in Australia, we don't have a choice of many models here and those that we can find are very expensive. Will probably keep using my TG 1,000, which I love .😊

      @@hybridresistance Keep on talking! Don't listen to this guy. Your explanations are perfect. I love your "just try it it might work for you" suggestions. I'm waiting for the video where you show us how to bench press or snatch the total gym and where you use two total gyms in a suitcase carry.
