I bought the resume template for 2210 series. I began applying mid-April. So far with Armand's help I have had a 100% referral rate. Well worth the money. For comparison, I had a 25% referral rate from my resume without any help.
One of the best motivational job videos I've seen. Truly think this will help several people on their way to new or better positions. Great work, Armand.
I currently work for the Federal Government, I accepted a career ladder position My manager helped me with my resume. One thing i can say about interviews, you have to go in confident in yourself. I wish I would have known about this You Tube channel when it all started. Many years ago I interviewed with the VA in Denver. It was in the prosthetics division. After a few days after the interview, I called to tell them I couldn't do the job. I couldn't handle seeing veterans coming back from Iraq.
I feel as though I don’t have success stories. At the age of 55, I’ve done the job I’ve had. As I’m disabled (low vision) it takes a lot of effort just to do the work to a "meets expectations" level. Please advise, thanks.
Great motivational video! I’ve gotten my first referral and have already began to prep for interviews so I’ll be ready! Your videos and lives have been very helpful. I’ve applied to 0200 series.
The interview is my weak point. I get so frustrated when they ask the same vague questions: Can you tell me about a time you used teamwork on the job? Will you tell me about a time you overcame adversity? I want to ask them if we can skip these questions so we can talk turkey. Then they don't respond to your answers with anything but "ok, thank you, next question."
Keep these words of encouragement and great advice coming, Armand! 😃👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I’m actually still editing my resume for a job announcement which closes tomorrow.🤞🏽 And I’m going to keep applying until I get that new job. 😁
What is the best practice strategy to match success stories to unknown/unpredictable interview questions ahead of time? During the interview, What is the solution if I used a success story that mismatched with an interview question and afterwards, the next interview question that matches the previous success story is asked?
Prepare at least 10 success stories. When writing the success stories understand they have to match each verb in the "Specialized Experience" section. For example: Success story #1 will address "evaluate" "analyze" "identify" "communicate" and "collaborate".. If the interviewer ask you a question about any of those five verbs, you can pivot to the verb and give them a slightly modified version of story #1. Continue to assign verbs to your success stories and emphaize the verb the interviewer asks about. If it is a question that the job announcement didn't cover and you can't relate it to a success story, give them the best answer you can. Any answer is usually better than no answer. It will never be perfect but preparing the success stories will help with your confidence and most of the questions they will ask you.

Armand, any experience with a verbal offers? I received one about a month ago for a direct hire authority role. Still no TJO as of yet.
Do you make resumes for the 0083 series?
Not at the moment.
