Philip - so sorry for the loss of your grandmother.🙏 Alex, if you can find a foaming eyewash called SteriLid - it will help tremendously. I use it in the shower so that I never get these again. I had like back to back styes (I'm not even sure that's what my doctor called it but it looked like yours and was super swollen & so painful). Was put on a topical antibiotic but was also told to use the SteriLid all the time. It works!!!! I used to get at Walgreens and now have to get it off of Amazon. Feel better!!

We just moved from South Florida to TN. We Love TN! We lived in FL for over 30 years ❤️ and haven’t been in TN for even a year yet and yet it feels more like home than FL ever did . It’s different for everyone I think but I can’t imagine going back to a busy city away from the countryside 🏔️
I thought it was wonderful to see the girls in a more urban setting again. Living in this century and not like olden times where your whole life is working the land. I agree with someone else in these comments it is nice to have a happy medium. Rural but close to city. Land around you, pets and culture that comes from city life.

We had to return to bring my mom back with us to Maine after we had been gone for 20 some years we felt like we where visiting a strange planet. We felt so out of place and people where so unfriendly and rude. Glad we are living in Maine.

I work with the American Society of Pharmacovigilance and the FDA every year to raise awareness about this, but; Alex, I just need to tell you that if the doc prescribed Ciprodex or Ofloxacin eye drops; they are Fluoroquinolone antibiotics and can cause a host of serious problems like tendon and ligament ruptures, kidney damage and spontaneous aortic aneurysm rupture. I just had my 31st joint surgery in 12 years since taking Cipro. If it's possible to take Erythromycin drops instead I would ask for that as a possible alternative. It drastically changed my life and I try to make sure others know this is a risk and there are safer alternatives in other antibiotic families.

I get this! When I moved from Texas to Colorado it was a shock. Now when I go back to Texas all I see now are the manicured lawns and sidewalks that I didn't notice before 😅
I haven’t watched the whole thing but my face did this and it was a type of strep throat. I wasn’t coughing or anything but my whole side of my face swelled up I didn’t feel sick but the test came back as strep throat. Went on meds for a week two weeks and was fine :)
Nope it was strep throat that travelled from my throat to my eye. I wasn’t saying that’s what she had I was speaking about myself and what my doctor told me.
Alex: I'm really feeling for you. I just had extensive eye surgery and it was a hundred times more palatable than the nasty sty, chronic conjunctivitis, black mold exposure kinda stuff I've had in the past. Just medicate and REST that eye (as in closed/not blinking) as much as you can.
I’m so sorry for your loss! Alex, did they find out what caused your eye to swell? Mine do that every once in a while and we just assume it due to my autoimmune disorder 😔 When it happens I take a steroid and it goes away in a day or two.

Honestly, you couldn’t pay me to move back there. I was born and raised in California. It’s not the same state that I grew up in. When I come home to Idaho I feel like I can breathe.
Oh yes. As a newborn she flew with her parents Phil and Alex from her birthtown to her home. But Kinsley said that with the first flight - and I think that is true.
Is it pink eye? My daughter had cellulitis of the eye. An eye doctor was the one that had to diagnose. Glad you're seeing the right type of doctor. Pediatric Dr didn't know what it was. So sorry to hear about your Grandma. 💔❤️
