SA41959 You welcome, i am happy that people on your work made comment about the smell. Specially soups are so easy to make but people are choosing more ready, commercial products everday. It is sad end no good for health. I hope it will change..
This soup looks delicious. And you explain it so simply. I am going to buy the ingredients this weekend. I already have the pink lentils. It's so simple but looks so good. I have a niece named sevda. My sister's daughter, my brother-in-law is from Turkey. I am going to make her this soup. She is a very picky eater. I think she will like this. I love your Channel XO

Thank you for this wholesome delicious soup recipe. My family 🥰 it! Even my Ecuadorian mother who only eats her traditional dishes from Guayaquil, Ecuador. Tanrı kutsasın.😇💕
I LOVE SOUP AND BULGER AND LENTILS AND ALL OF IT..YOU HAVE JUST GIVEN ME A WONDERFUL NEW SOUP THANK YOU..I'VE SUBSCRIBERS BED AND ANXIOUSLY WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT DISH.
I appreciate the presentation of this. I've seen several other people making Lentils in Dal, or whatnot but I was trying to find something else to inspire me. I had picked up some red Lentils from the store, and as a cooking enthusiast and self/family trained chef lentils are not something I have a lot of experience with. Thank you for sharing and I will most likely be trying your recipe before long. I appreciate you sharing and it looks delicious, though I might toss in a couple other complimentary meats, or something along those lines to make it last longer. Thank you very much.
Hi, today I tried to make this lentil soup, and it turned out very delicious, especially I loved some lemon juice on top. Also, yesterday I baked pide with your recipe and it was soo delicious! I am subscribing to your channel :) thanks

Hello, I love Turkish culture food and it's people and absolutely love your channel! I'm from India and we easily get fresh mint here can I substitute that for dried mint, will that make a big difference in the recipe? If not is it ok if I air dry mint leaves and powder them, will that work? Much love for you and your channel!
I do this soup which my husband call, meçmek (hope i writ it correctly) cos his turkish. I do different way and i add garlic is well and little bitt bulgur at the end.
Hello kashmiri, thank you. Dried mint should be easy to find everywhere not specifically ın Turkish shop. It will make it better than mint tea bag if you can find next time
I just cooked this soup. It’s very yummy. I used fresh mint because I couldn’t find the dry one in Canada. It’s very yummy. I’m wondering if it freezes well? I want to cook big batches. Thank you for your recipe🤗
ummmm, I love different foods and this one is now on my list of things to cook! Thankyou! Your channel should be named "Turkish Woman Cooking" Your family is lucky! As a small bit of advice, add "vegetarian" and "vegan" to your tag list.
Hey Ayşegül! I’ve been looking for one dish my Turkish teacher made for me. It was a massive rice dish. It had eggplants and chicken in rice and she served it with yougurt salad and tomatoes and cucumber salad.
Hi dear, I just saw your comment sorry. I think you are talking about this: th-cam.com/video/fgQVgBugQyM/w-d-xo.html Have you found and tried already maybe?
This soup looks so nice! Do you use the small red lentils that I see at the Indian food stores in the United States? It looks like those. They are small and are a pale orange-red color which turns yellow when they are cooked. I would really like to make this soup. Thank you!
Hello, my name is Kelly. I am so happy I found your TH-cam page. I have wanted to learn about Turkish food for a long time. I'm very excited about this recipe because I have never cooked with lentils and I very much want to learn to eat healthy with lentils. This soup looks delicious! Thank you for explaining it so nicely. I understand very well. You are a good teacher. Right now I have all the ingredients except the Bulgur. Could I use amaranth in place of the Bulgur. Thank you very much. I will wait to hear from you. Hope you are having a happy day
Hello Kelly, you welcome. I am happy that you are interested in Turkish cooking. This lentil soup is really delicious. Bulgur helps to give a bit texture and thicken it. You may omit the bulgur and use little less water or if the amaranth doesn't have a dominant taste (I haven't tried it) you can use that too. Please share the result too when you try :)
Turkish Food Recipes hello and thank you for responding to me! I went and bought the bulgar so I am very happy. I will be making this soup after the weekend. It is my niece sevda 4 year birthday party on the weekend. So I will make the soup on Monday. I will let you know. I am so happy that you are so helpful. Thank you. This soup looks delicious!
