This was the only BN Network game where the final stage was just accessible through a single port, and not multiple. 5 areas total. Entering the 5th area is the point of no return.
Almost nine years ago… I first reached this area. The music is fantastic… but I remember it more for where I reached it. My 8th grade math class, taught by a teacher who I bonded with, over our shared passion for Mega Man. …just a few months after I met him, he was gone. But those times will remain unforgettable to me. Those few months unforgettable… accompanied by this song.
It took me many playthroughs to figure out I could escape when you're drawn into the black hole. I found that possibility by accident. It was a huge challenge to beat the final area. Each step and turn had to be perfect. However, after many tries, I did make it. Even now, knowing I can escape the black hole, I still refuse to do it. I have to beat it the hard way.
Never managed to get that far in this game. Although that's mainly due to just burning out somewhere in the slog through the tournaments. Anyway, nice accomplishment. Can't have been easy. It reminds me of something I did in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island... See, I hadn't quite picked up on the fact that you could make the eggs skip across water surfaces, so for the boss of 3-8 I had to get... creative. And no, I didn't know about the quick-kill either...
I love this remix and this song. I remember hating that the game didn’t tell you that you can escape the magnetic force. Lan literally says “watch out for a strong magnetic force”. I found out that you have to mash A and B, when I was mashing button out of sheer anger. However, I do like the dice gimmick the final stage has

As much as a slog the entirety of the game's story was, and also the absolutely abysmal postgame, at least BN4's final dungeon was awesome. One of the best in the series easily. Except for the fact that I gave myself carpal tunnel pressing A so fast trying to avoid being sucked up, that part wasn't so fun.
When I first got in this Dungeon the first thing I thought was: Look, it's Megaman SF before Megaman SF 🤣 But also I almost Rage Quited this section, I didn't know about pressing A+B and most of the time I didn't use this until the final section

I like to think that koki had some influence on keeping the mmbn fandom alive which led to the legacy collection being announced.
