I feel like this song is the only remnant to when this was a horror game, it gives me the chills every time! I love it! This remix really does turn that feeling up, it's really awesome koki!
Ooo I kinda want a version of this that really leans into the pipe organ now. Some other tracks could use that too like some of the Undernet tracks and the Secret Area one.
To be fair, they've dropped the horror idea early on (around coming up with main mechanics), so I doubt they've even made music for it at the time. I'd say it's simply supposed to compliment how scary this boss is supposed to be... and gotta admit, as a kid, its design was pretty scary to me, more so an idea of what could it do to the net and real world.
Pretty good remix of the Life Virus/Dream Virus. Kinda wish the Undernet theme from Network Transmission was mixed in as well since it was also a great remix of the Dream Virus theme.
This reminds me how excited I am to finally get to play BN1 & 2 when the legacy collection comes out. I've played all of them from 3 & onward, but it'll be fun replaying all those too.
2 is wonderful, 2nd or 3rd most favorite behind 3 and maybe 6 depending on mood. 1 shows some age, especially the powerplant area unless they improve it some.
He's quite hard to defeat back when I was a kid. When I got used to BN3 and afterward, I revisited this game again. Found that he's the easiest final boss in the entire series (lol). Just swing some swords that do 100 damage then spam the heck of buster. Though, the music sure is very intense and I really love it.
I'd really like to see you try remixing MegaMan Legends tracks. Those games were my childhood. It'd be cool to hear your remixes of the MegaMan Legends series' OST!

Yeah, this final boss is incredibly easy, especially when you spam the Hero swords, but hey, I still love this overgrown bug 👍
