I _extremely_ appreciate the fact you chose to keep so many of the original instruments. Or soundalikes, I dunno, the point is so many remixes lose so much of their charm by taking away the beep out of this bop.
Ikr when I listen to other to remixes it doesn't have the same charm when they get rid of the original instruments

You know a track is good when just everyone who ever makes covers and remixes always goes for Surge of Power
I like that this remix seems to draw a lot more from the original GBA sound font while still adding quite a bit of quality to it.
Kind of like a remaster as opposed to a remix. I love it!

extremely interesting take.
I like the added depth through the symphonics and guitar!
There is one thing I do dislike. It's that quintessential melody section at 0:26 (among other instances)
It lacks the punch and impact it should have as the thing tying together this chaotic mess of energy that comes at you at full speed pretty much everywhere else in the song.
The closest song that comes to my mind that does this would be "The Metal" by Tenacious D with it's "middle 8" instead of a chorus really weighing in against the constant rhythmic speed and brashness of notes at display.
So without sounding like I dislike this, which I don't at all, a bit more emphasis on the Melody in that part rather than background instruments would do the trick for me personally.

This is probably the hypest boss fight theme in the series and I will never get tired of all the different remixes of it.

A lot of remixes of this song, I am disappointed with. This is NOT one of them. This track in particular NEEDS the original arpeggiation else it loses its edge! Thank you for making such a hard-hitting banger remix that goes harder than the original!

It's kinda crazy how much punch you get out of those midi synths and organs. Another masterpiece. Still waiting on Final Battleground from Starforce 1, Koki-san. Don't make me beg. It's the last stage and no one has done it justice yet.

I just realized that Colonel's forehead gem looks similar to MegaMan X's. Meaning in this timeline, the "X factor" or whatever it's meant to be was given to Colonel because Hub was already broken enough without it.
