Awesome little planes. I tried Combat years ago, we all started with the same length of streamer and then measured each one after landing to determine the winner(s).
You should definitely give a try to the FPV Combat system, it raises the experience to a completely different level of fun! The evolution of streamers combat!
I would think the main problem is to keep tabs on your plane in case you find you're 'flying' someone else's! It happened to me with a model racing yacht which had a red hull, like mine - then I saw mine sitting with its sail flapping going nowhere! Looks great fun, though.

Hi Dom. Was wondering about trying to do this with some Eachine/Volantex mini warbirds. How did they source/make up such long streamer tails? 🤔
It was crepe paper material that was delivered in a roll and then cut for narrow width
