Thank you! Such beautiful projects
These turned out beautiful!
Hi Birgit! Great video. A few questions:
1. did you use an acrylic OR piece of glass over the matt to complete the framing, or???
2. If we don't wish to use glass how can we creatively "frame"/finish our gelli prints? I'm looking for drapery (if we work on tissue paper or fabric) or other types of "free-flowing" sorts of ways of finishing pieces.
3. For the first two prints, you turned them upside down and peeled the plate off the print. For the third one, you simply pulled the paper off the plate. Both techniques I actually have used but do you recommend these for specific reasons?
I imagine you can use any opaque media besides paint markers. Oil Pastels on a print may prove an interesting effect with the texture left behind. Hmm, metallic markers and gel pens are other possibilities.
what Kind of paper are you using for the prints? they are lovely!
So beautiful! I’m a card maker but have these Gelli plated and paints but haven’t used them yet. What card stock do you use? Is heavier weight and gsm preferred? I use Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# card stock for my card bases would that work?
I've got inks, maybe I'll try a dip pen with white ink
