    I have the MegaMat. Best pad ever. Great insulator between the ground too. I even packed it in a suitcase once and took it on a flight to visit relatives. I knew sleeping space was limited, so i brought my own bed. I slept better than my wife and grand daughter who slept in a bed. Love that thing.

    Steve, you are the Master of gadgets for the motorcycle camping experience. I love how unlike alot of Vloggers you show each item and how they work. I am planning to buy some of the items you have shown including the electric refrigerator you have plugged in to your solar battery. Thanks again !!!

    I’ve got to get that fan! I have lots of Dewalt 20v tools, and I really like all of them. Thanks for the tips!

    I use my motorcycle battery to charge my phone, but I have been thinking about getting a power bank. I think those flame lamps look really cool. 👍🏻

      You're welcome. I turn 60 in three months. Once I had my kids raised I started traveling and camping on my bike as much as I could. There's nothing like it. Enjoy, be safe.

    Enjoying your videos. Learning. Years ago I was a very smart camper but much has changed and I’m older. WHAT Cot do you have? I’ll look for it in another video.

      Me too. Some people light their campsites up like a baseball stadium. I don't like camping like that.

    Thanks. I use Ryobi battery operated equipment. Fan, inverter for AC power, charger, air compressor/mattress inflation, lighting, all with one battery. Also charges my 18v batteries from 12v motorcycle's charge system.

    Checked out Dewalt's "USB power source" add on for their batteries? On a 20V 6A battery (5V 24A~), you're rivaling the power capacity of your 26800 USB power bank (which only operates at 5 volts, 26.8A~) in addition to the versatility of one battery for multiple uses. Looks like Dewalt makes a 12V charger too - imaging a power lead in the trailer with one of those charging up dewalt batteries while you're on the road? (Throw the sawzall in the trailer and firewood processing becomes a LOT quicker...)

      Sounds awesome. I have all kinds of power with my trailer now. I built a solar generator before my last Colorado trip. It worked out great. Check it out:

    Your camp Lights look like the "Vont" lights. Do they unscrew on the top to hold extra batteries like the VONT ?? does.
    Nice "Marchway" Chair I have the smaller one but it comes with foot pads. Not the mesh foot pad.
    I use My Ryobi fan all the time, Love it for the bugs. 1.5 miles per hour and the mosquitos can not fly.
    Great gear thanks for the information.

    • @SteveOutdoors
      @SteveOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the tops unscrew to hold extra batteries. I've seen different manufacturers make these lights.
      I heard the Ryobi is a good fan also. Battery power on tools has come a long way in the last 20 years. I remember getting my first 6V drill and I thought it was amazing! Lol

      @@SteveOutdoors Yah me too on the cordless tools. Crazy how shit changed. Ryobi is not as good of a fan as yours but I HAVE THE BATTERIES, Same as any other brand. Buy the tools for what they offer, because you are stuck with the batteries to power them.

    Do you ever camp with a rechargeable refrigerator? Can you recommend one?

    • @SteveOutdoors
      @SteveOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use an RTIC ice cooler. I actually built a solar generator (th-cam.com/video/So0F2_E1Oms/w-d-xo.html) so I could easily use a 12 volt fridge. But I would have to have a weatherproof one because it would ride on the front of my motorcycle trailer. It's easier for me to just get ice every 5 days for my RTIC.
