One thing I am trying to figure out now is if Oberon is going to be on the same banner as FLancelot, or perhaps he is the anniversary servant this year and they are just teasing him for now.

I love this unit. She is probably my fav rn tied with Da Vinci Rider. Been using a comp of Da Vinci, Castoria and FK Lancelot. Love all the LB6 servants honestly.
Busted? Eh, not sure I agree. Her third skill makes things interesting in so far as what it does in offering the versatility of switching from a single target to AoE NP; if you _specifically_ need a Lancer with an AoE Buster NP her Stage 3 has the strongest raw AoE NP of all Lancers thus far (raw as in no Special Attack or Extra Damage mods or conditional effects) which is impressive as hell. In Stage 1 or 2, though, the same Buster NP isn't falls to 4th strongest. The trade-off, though, is the single targets Arts NP is the 4th strongest raw NP of all Lancers behind Enkidu, Scathach, and Brynhildr, all of whom have an NP upgrade which is upping their damage.

Worst part about her (aside from needing 216 bells to 10/10/10 her skills) is that she doesn't keep the mask in her ascensions. I thought it was cool.

I got her in one multi going for Percival. I decided to stop while I was ahead
I wish there was an option to get her to stay in ascension 2 but keep the switching mechanic. I hate the look of ascension 3 but love the rest of her kit so not sure how to feel atm

don't think she's broken. the skills are really good, but the fact that she changes card type kind of balances it out.
I would personally like it better if it was the oposite, AoE before transforming, ST after.
Also the fact that you are forced to change the NP can kind of get in the way of how you play the servant, because once you do, you can't go back.
so if you want to use her ST (that's the one that you will use more often then not on challenge content, i think?), you will have a servant with only 2 skills to play with.

yeah, I'm already anticipating instances where I simply wont use her third skill at all, which feels a little sad to me. It would have been nice if the skill essentially just altered your ascension back and forth between the ascension 2 and 3 as an alternative. However, shes still unique and looks pretty fun to play around with.

*insert sc2 marine voice - hell it's about time* granted they implemented multiple NP choices per servant in a somewhat limited way; I was hoping you could choose when choosing your NP [like have it stacked and switch back and forth, or choosing which NP before battle. Still another one goes into the must roll for pocket.
Nah, she isn't really broken. The mechanic is, but she herself is not.
She's in the Emiya situation where parts of her kit don't match up with her ideal supports. If you pair her with double Castoria, she essentially has no 3rd Skill. If you do double Merlin, she's getting scuffed since she's just another Buster AoE NP Lancer of which there are plenty on the current roster and she doesn't really offer anything that game breaking in a full Buster team comp and she doesn't pack any Buster buffs of her own to boot outside of her meagre 20% on her NP.
So if you were to trying to utilize her full effectiveness, you'd have to utilize a Merlin and Castoria comp which isn't all that bad but trades off a higher damage ceiling and synergy for more versatility. Where she shines are those weird nodes where its a 1-1-3/2 wave like in Olympus but again, that in and of itself is sort of very specific and constraining compared to more general use Servants
Her stats are great and her skills are loaded, so in a vaccum, she's broken. But when you place her with other units, she just has a shiny new mechanic that lends her a bit more versatility but doesn't really make her anymore gamebreaking than say King Hassan. If you wanted a comparison of game breaking, Castoria and Arjuna Alter are the best examples of the standard of what should be considered gamebreaking. Arjuna Alter leaves very little for his AoE Buster competition and Castoria is packing a lot in her kit that makes her arguably more viable than Waver in a lot of team comps where Crit isn't the center strategy since her kit renders a bunch of Servants such as Jeanne irrelevant.
The one that got really powercreeped imo is Fionn in comparison to Percival who just offers a lot more up-front than he does.
TL;DR Fairy Lancelot is good but she doesn't invalidate other Lancers at all unlike certain other Servants in other classes
@@WhoTao00 100% charge that changes her NP to AoE Buster from ST Arts so she's running scuffed team comps if you're running her in an Arts comp and it can't be reversed, and in 3rd Ascension, it's pretty meh since it doesn't have 100% charge so she's scuffed as well in Buster comps.
It's a one time skill on her 1st and 2nd Ascensions. Nothing game breaking about it
@@WhoTao00 She's essentially running with only 2 skills on a pure arts comp. If an ST Arts spammer is what you wanted, just go for Vlad since he is perma and has more than two skills available to him in an Arts comp and has survival, plus Zerker class advantage. For ST Lancer, she has Kagetora as her main competition who is also a solid unit on her own and has more utility in offensive buff removal, plus free NP5.
In a Buster team, she's just another AoE Buster Lancer with a one time 100% NP charge if you choose to start her out in Ascension 1 - 2. She doesn't offer anything besides that one time NP charge and the AoE Buster Lancer class is stacked with a lot of solid units.

In terms of st arts despite missing out on a 3rd skill, she outperforms every other st arts lancer, she can loops better than both Li Shuwen and Kagetora and is way more consistent with her second skill alone in comparison to them both. The only thing Kagetora has over her is free np 5. Li can ignore defensive buffs but otherwise both of them are extremely inconsistent in comparison to lancelot, so despite being down a skill, she gets more out of 3 turns than them both. Because she has both her np and face cards for 3 turns where as they need supports to cover their shortcomings.
Now for the Aoe buster/Crit catagory she has more competition, things like Karna, Rhomulus and Eresh all are very op on their own and she doesn't do anything much better than them. However she can np turn 1 without a charge CE, which means she can slap on a black grail and delete enemies quickly. For players who don't have MLB K scope this is a godsend. To top it off she is still a fairly decent crit servant in comparison to both of them. The only thing outdoing her is the buster ST lancers. So if you have Brynhild, you would be fine.
@@yammoto148 I never said she wasn't good. I fully admitted she has a solid kit. I merely said that she isn't as busted as people are making her out to be. She's versatile and a solid addition to any Chaldea, but that doesn't make her game breaking like people are implying. She just leaves more room for team versatility compared to more specialized and focused Servants. She still has solid competition in all her roles that aren't strictly irreplaceable such as Kagetora who, while not getting as much in the 3 turns, still gets the job done more often than not and she's free.
And you elaborated already on the AoE Buster category so I don't need to touch on that.
@@yammoto148 Although I would like to note that in Buster comps, you don't really go for the NP damage as much outside of one turn strategies since it's hard to spam Buster NPs and most of their damage comes from sustained Crits more often than not.

I farmed a lot of SQs and couldn't get Morgan nor the other 2 Fairy Knights.

Imo her s2 is the 2nd most important skill because it lets her crit kill the 2nd enemy in a 2/1/x or 1/2/x 90+ node.
The power creep is becoming real.
But older servants will never get a higher hit count.
She doesn't powercreep anyone. Her direction competition is Kagetora for ST Arts Lancer, and the likes of Karna, Romulus, etc. for AoE Buster Lancer.
Those are are all solid units that will outdo her in their very common niches, and have more utility than she does. She's versatile and a good generalist, but that's it.
The one that powercreeps old units is Percival since he straight up invalidates Summer Melt and Fionn in terms of looping, damage when skills are up AND utility
Im f2p. Already have karna. Anniversary is near. Waiting for oberon to see his skills. Summer is near and i still have 2 5 star servants that i need. But this lolilot is really making me think if i should summon for her and i really want to save my quartz for the future (978sq)
Karna was the OG way before fae lancelot came out
If you have karna, then you don’t need lolilot, she’s AoE buster without the divine annihilation that Karna brings, and her st arts mode is just a typical of st arts attackers

@@themaskedgriffin6384 he’s not that lacking, he’s got a crit Star gen, crit buff, and a good battery, he just needs a star bomb or a star absorb, and he gets single target damage against divine enemies, he gets even more st target damage with his S3

@@Goblinhandler i mean with no card type buffs just his on his own he gens about 24-27 stars with his gen buffs active… which isnt all that much especially since it is only active half the battle… the 40% crit up is kinda awkward too… a 50% crit up with a star absorb of 200%-400% and maybe a small increase in his drop rate would be a good skill buff on a 3 turn cooldown. It wouldnt make him too OP just a bit more consistent and slighlty better damage… his first skill does need a buff but nothing really comes to mind… but there should be a 90% defense up on his mana burst for 1 turn… just so he can have a bit of survivability plus if he uses if NP that same turn he can lose the defense up kinda similar to lore

I don't agree with her being broken by any stretch of the imagination but she's still a great servant and one of the best if not the best farming lancers in the game. My justification for not believing she's broken comes from her third skill which becomes useless when your tackling more difficult content as your stuck with only two skills. Still a cool servant that I plan on pulling anyways but she has some obvious flaws because of her np switching gimmick which holds her back from being broken like Arjuna alter, Super Orion, Dioscuri and post buff vlad.
Well, at least her third skill will still be an Invicible.
I think if you could chose the stage you want to be it would be broken, i mean 100% battery on 5 turn cooldown, simple, but so broken it would never recieve that upgrade
Her third skill does not hold her back as it acts as hard defense in difficult content while allowing instant access to a different np or a damage buff all on a short 5 turn cd. This skill is insane as it allows her to fill both the st and aoe roles. The average hard defense skill is on a 6 turn cooldown and hers being on a 5 turn which just makes her much tangier as in hard content a single turn can make a huge difference. I don't think you understand how broken it is to have essentially 2 servants in 1 is especially when fae lancelot can swap from one form to another during battles.
@@oc-gg2eq Interesting perspective but I don't believe that argument holds up. Lancelot is two servants mashed up into one who posses the ability to be either a buster or arts servant which in the current meta isn't viable as we don't possess a support who can be a medium between the two card types. So when tackling more difficult content you'll be stuck with two skills as most players wont want to give up Melusine looping damage just for the sake of a one turn invincibility which will take a large portion of her damage and consistency away.
@@universalpringle3405 her going to buster isn't a big damage drop because of buster having good multiplier. Her usage of arts and buster allows her to work well with multiple supports without being stuck to using only merlin or castoria, but rather the ability to take full advantage of both. Given the current meta and weird nodes with 1-1-2 or 3
She is very useful as she isn't held back by these weird nodes that dw is making in order to stop 3 turn farming. Again her 3rd skill is used as a very strong battery or defensive skill. Defensive skills aren't meant to be used on a whim and your supposed to save them in case of an emergency. Hers is no different from other units except for it being better because if a lower cooldown and added utility

While I think the NP change and her third skill is interesting, I think people are overlooking her 2nd a lot. She can be fairly self-sufficient when it comes to crits, in either form. Its like a combination of Saberlot's 2nd skill and his stargen. It's missing the crit buff, but in exchange, she has better defense, np spam in arts mode, and 5 star stats.
Very few servants have a star absorb that last for than 1 single turn. Eternal Arms mastery is the notable skill that last for 3 turns and has a huge star absorb multiplier to boot. Saberlot and Berserkerlot have it, but with no other effects. Raikou and Morgan are berserkers with 3 turn star absorb with added effects to their absorb and are more comparable to FK Lancelot as they are also 5 stars with similar decks, with the buster aoe np and all. Brynhildr, Van gogh, and Miss Crane have targetable 3 turn star absorb with added affects to help teammates and such.
However, I think self-sufficiency is what should make FK lancelot stand out. With the arts np alone, along with 2nd skill active
she can make a decent amount of stars by herself, about 20 or more depending on rng on star droprate on cards, with or without teammates. If stars are already present when she nps, and she has at least one arts card in 3, she could theoretically loop thanks to the np buff that her np gives her. Then the follow up-turns could be used to either build up another np or setup a crit turn with the stars. The 3rd skill can be ignored for the arts np and should be used as a last resort to close out a fight.
Because the 3rd skill makes her np buster, you could also wait till you had one or two buster cards, then use her 3rd skill to instantly lead with her np and crit with her buster thanks to the stars she generated to her 2nd skill and possibly previous arts np.
This is all still theoretical, so we gotta wait a few hours/days for the whales to try her out and see their opinions on her.
that's one hell of a gimmick for a servant. now, I'm hyped for her to arrive in NA.
Her first 2 Skills scream Year 1 but her NP made her spam so well she's putting those Year 1 buffs to good use. also I check, her stats is actually quite good. 4th highest Atk and 6th highest HP of the Lancers

Oberon first 2 skills have been shown:
30% NP damage up for the whole party + 20% NP charge
50% NP Charge(Loses 20% after 1 turn) + 20 stars

Holy Crap, is that third skill completely busted. As soon as I saw a 100% NP charge plus all the other effects (increase charge by 2 stages? Really??) on a five turn cool down, I knew there had to be some catch. Seeing it change when in 3rd ascension really doesn't surprise me, but it still looks pretty decent, even so.
Also, did I hear that right? Did you just say Kazuradrop, as in the Alter Ego, member of the Sakura 5 Kazuradrop, is somehow present in this Lostbelt?? What the heck? What is SHE doing there, and HOW, for that matter?! She's a digital High Servant from an alternate future, for God's sake! Yikes, DW is revisiting the ideas they had with Hyde, and with a VENGENCE! Fae Lancy is simultaneously a ST AND AOE NPer due to her absurd gimmick, which alone gives her great value as an all purpose unit for just about any content in the game that isn't a Saber. But her S3 acting as a fricking no cost 100% Battery too? Ye gods, that's hella *busted* . Only problem with it is that you really can't conventionally Buster Tri-Loop with it/her due to her mechanics, so you have to either settle for duo-looping with Arash/Chen Gong with a B.G.to clear waves 'optimally', carding up for that last 20% - 70% NP (Depending on the MC you use) you need for a Third NP on the last wave, or do a ST NP with a MLB I.E. / 50% CE + Mage's Assoc. MC first before you get started on Buster 'Looping' . Awkward and a bit inefficient compared to standard Buster Tri-Loops, but not impossible to work with on the whole.
Her performance as a Arts ST NPer, on the other hand.....well, she's not going to have aaaaany trouble there between the ramping NP Gain OC effect on it and the 30% NP Battery and 40% ATK Up Steriod her S1 is. She could probably loop a-Okay with just one Castoria because of that ramping NP Gain, making her more accessible to use for those without a Native Castoria or those that want to run more unconventional CQ/ 1-1-X Node comps. And if you have to use her Face Cards at any point then her S2 will do a wonderful job of making them almost as deadily as her NP AND get her back to looping ASAP. She almost power-creeps Kagetora and Lee Shuwen in their niche, and she certainly outdamages them at NP2 or higher, so that's something to chew on.
Overall, I say Fae Lancy is a must pick for newer/less well off players, while a supremely interesting and versatile unit for even whales or EX Luck Lords. Hard to say no to such an overloaded kit; man new Servants really have jumped the shark (or Dragon, in this case) , huh?
With double Castoria she will only refund 45% np, which means she won’t be able to use Merlin for the next turn. Because of this, her damage takes a huge blow and she’d only be doing ~80k to archers on the next turn, which most likely wouldn’t be enough in a 90+ node

I started playing today and after like 30 singles i got both her and the other lancer boi featured in the same banner. He's really good tho. Has a 3 turn taunt invincible and arts aoe np. What more could you ask for,? Also the support list in jp is all castoria and Merlin lol

But managing my NA account already takes so much time… I started back in April and I am now at LB 3 (as in going to start it after summer events). I can’t imagine managing both an NA and JP account. It will be too much and I’d get burnt out.

it would work, kinda, but what if you want to use her in single a boss fight? she will have to run without her third skill basically.
While her first and second skill is already pretty good in itself, one is a 40% ATK up, damage cut and health up, while the other is a crit star gather and rain+intuition
it's just alright as her only 2 skills.
Basically, she will have kinda an SR/old SSR lvl servant full kit if you ran her ST only, but under kitted if you consider modern Servant's kits these days.
In any way, she will have to turn to her AOE buster NP form in one of her turns one way or another.
There's a vid her on your of her doing the godjuna fight and if you watch it it basically shows how she'd work in a st boss fight. Switching to a aoe np doesn't ruin or drastically drop her damage since it's a buster np and allows her to buster brave chain I'll look for the link on the vid and comment it

Something to note (for future content when comparing ATK stats), you said her attack stat is average at 12k, but she actually has the 3rd highest ATK in her class and rarity, with Vritra and Romulus barely higher (119 more for Romulus and 178 more in Vritra's case). And among those three SSR lancers she has the highest HP.
Also because she is a lancer, her true atk is even higher than that number shows.
Bottom line, there's nothing average about her stats, especially her ATK. Consider this, if she were to come out today in NA she would have the highest atk stat in her class and rarity.
Always compare ATK and HP stats in their class and rarity.
just imagine analyzing every servant's atk and using Jalter as your reference or servant's HP and this time using Jeanne Ruler... gosh in the face of Jeanne, everyone is equal.
Might do that in the future but I don't want to restrict to comparisons within a class, so I'll have to disagree from only doing that.
@@ZTL There are 116 or so SSR servants right now in the game and among all those she ranks 25th in terms of ATK stat. And if you throw in her lancer damage modifier she gets in the top 20.
Any servants with over 12k atk is anything but average, and if that servant is a lancer (or avenger or berserker or ruler) then it's even better.
And despite initially telling myself I wouldn't do it, I did it, I calculated her true placement, she is in 16th place in the game based on her ATK stat.
Her true ATK becomes 12761 (rounded down) because of the 1.05 damage modifier Lancers have. That's higher than any saber in the game.
That's ultimately why it's important to look at classes when comparing stats, because raw numbers don't tell the whole story.

Only roll for her if you really like her. She has a shiny new mechanic but isn't really broken when you take her out of a vacuum. She's still strong, but she trades potential strength for versatility and flexibility and she doesn't really offer anything that other SSR and SR Lancers don't outside of the very specific 1-1-2/3 wave nodes
I recommend you don't summer is right around the corner

Not sure if this was already answered. But NP gen and star gen are based on hits. So more hits= you get more stars/ NP more often (for the same base stargen/NP gen stat)

It’s is definitely going to be a weird servant to use on arts teams because you don’t really want to use your 3rd skill. This servant is really good but I don’t like that her survivability is tied to the transformation.

I actually don't think she's broken. In her single target form, she's effectively got no skill 3. She's good with just skill 1 and 2, but not outstandingly so. If you're using her as an aoe Buster, she does have a 1 time 100% battery but you will have to not use her other 30% and thus her only attack buff that turn if you want to save the charge for looping. She then is stuck as a no interlude buster aoe, so she's going to probably have damage on the lower end for buster aoe, which isn't amazing. I suspect her best use case is being a buster farmer since her battery supply (at least once) is ridiculous, but she's probably going to be worse than Arts options anyways. Since she only gets her huge battery once, she's probably also not too suited to hard CQs that drag on at all. She seems good and interesting, but she's got some issues that will likely keep her from being top tier broken status.
Yeah, that's more or less what I think as well. She's interesting, but the only time I see her as the optimal choice is for the occasional atypical nodes JP likes to throw around nowadays (1-1-2/3 enemies), and even then, I fear her damage might be lacking.
Still really fun, though.

I play this game for nostalgia ( FSN ( all 3 routes ) /EXTRA/CCC/EXTELLA/APOCRYPHA ) and I'm not feeling the need to roll for these new servants at all ( no matter how broken they may seem - Morgana ( she is a saber face so I might try my E rank luck ) / fae knights / Galactica...

Normally people (including me), using kscope on her. But if I use her myself, I prefer using NP strength up/buster up with np battery CE with double castoria and merlin/waver
