I have it installing right now. I use blue stacks and it does alright but I will randomly get disconnected to login portal/game will freeze when a character attacks oddly it seems to happen mainly with Drake which must just be a coincidence.

I know Quick isn't in a great place right now but accounts without Castoria would be better off getting NP2 of Ruler Skadi, since she can buff+charge herself and quick loop farm as well. If you have Castoria prioritize at least NP2 Summer Ibuki and there's almost nothing you can't farm in this game. Only people with cracked accounts have the luxury to get Lady Avalon. She's by no means game-breaking, she not even as good as Merlin for CQs. She's just a really hot succubus that can loop like nobody's business.
Would you say she is a must pull if I dont have Merlin? I have all the other main meta supports (minus Oberon). I really want all 3 Summer servants, but Arcueid really set me back. Any advice would be helpful.
@@Chapterhouse86 Yes, Lady avalon is still great for CQs. You don't need merlin to make her good, since she fulfills the same role. I find her healing to be invaluable for CQs if you do not have someone on the level of Merlin for survivability
Actually, after listening to your previous Summer Banners breakdown, this, and Plushie's video, I've completely changed my mind and decided that Proto Merlin is, in fact, NOT a must summon unit for me.
In JP she’s key to a faster invincible comp. S.Ibuki, Proto Merlin and castoria is the CQ team to beat if you want far more speed than normal invincible comp morgan/Himiko, Castoria and Merlin.

It's perhaps the only thing missing from my dear Reines, who I feel is generally underappreciated in the role. But as I was originally going to prioritize Lady Avalon over Summer Skadi, you can imagine why I've come to my senses after gathering more info. Merlin no.2 would still be highly useful to have, but definitely more of a luxury item rather than an absolute must I'd initially thought she might be.

Funny thing is that I'm skipping all 3 banners: - Ibuki might be omega stronk but I just don't jibe with her (I also would like to be able to farm in public lol) - Lady Avalon and Summer skadi have reruns in the future and I'm not in a rush to get them. - I am Morgan addicted (currently NP1) and I'm trying to NP3+ her lol
I had the luckiest Summer of my entire run with this game. Pulled a complete banner sweep, as well as landing Summer Musashi AND Summer Kama. Proto Merlin was my primary target and she's frickin great.
They both fill the same role as the on field support alongside Castoria in bossfights but in different ways. Tamo is if you're relying more on np rather than face card and skill cooldown. Proto merlin is better at longer sustained fights and team survivability,np generation tied to skill,and star gen. Tamo does have a heal and np gen but its tied to her 3rd skill and np so it can be somewhat unreliable.
Recently got my power back since the city's been in black out for almost the entire anniversary week. Now I gotta lock in to farm for these class gems for the real pulls of the year. Gotta wish everyone luck on the summer pulls here. I hope you all get what you want
We'll see. I have 1.5k Quartz and 166 tickets. If any are left over from me attempting to NP5 Skadi, then I'll throw some at Proto Merlin. After I'm all spent, it's back to saving for Summer Melusine.
Just an advice, if you Uesugi Kenshin known as 5* Nagao. Go get yourself a lady avalon. She is insane support for her. 40% charge from started since her passive and append 2 give 20% each. Another 40% if you use double lady avalon 2nd skill and use her 3rd skill to get another 40% since each enemy give 20% so you can instantly use her NP with no battery CEs. Even better if you Amakusa Salvation CEs that give 2 stage OC for 3 times so you can get 500% OC. Why its good? Her OC scales crit per turn from 5-25 crit star. She just keep generating insane amounts of stars. Another good CEs is MLb prisma cosmos that give 8-10% NP per turn to self. Her passive already give 5% per turn so yeah, 13-15% per turn is insane and depends on her NP level, at NP5 you will get 30% at turn 3. Did I forgot to mention that her 2nd skills give another OC buff? So yeah, she can 300% easily without amakusa CEs already. Enough about that, lets talk about Nagao. Nagao can crit hard for the next 5 turn if her card shows up and one art card can give her minimum of 50% NP refund to 100%+. I seen higher. So basically you nearly can crit and use NP for the next 5 turn on every each turn. So yeah, real cheat mode.
The problem with Proto Merlin is same as OG Merlin in the current meta, she's a good support but having 20% party charge is a killer for farming so she's mostly a CQ support and that alone makes her not a must summon IMO. That said, if you are a new player, I think she's a must summon because you can combine Proto Merlin and Xu Fu with support Castoria to let you loop like double Castoria and that's very valuable until you get your own Castoria.
@@resurrectedpa That's a valid reason to get her so go for it. Although we do periodically get leyline stones that works like 3 command seals and that helps a lot for tough story chapters like that.
I mean i dont belive that is a good statement. Farming is a top priority but i struggle more in CQ and SQ than farming set-ups. 3 turn and even 4 turn farming (5 turn with bad card luck) 90+ nodes is not THAT difficult this days. People will struggle more with the actually hard quest even when they spend 80% of their game time farming. There are soo many units to fix Farming nodes. Arash for example. I have the tools to make 3turn Buster farming without Arash. Just need to 10/10/10 my oberon and Morgan (or my NP3 Arcueid) but i have not rush in that because Grial Arash NP5 can clear with attack from the plug suit buff mooost 3 enemy nodes so 2 turn loop is all i need. I feel like you will pull for farming units without even trying (just because most popular units are almost every time Farming units) so i honestly belive that pull for hard quest supports is more a Must in general.
@@KaiserTheDarkWolf There are only a handful of CQs (usually 1 per event, sometimes 2) each year with fairly minimal rewards (we got so much lores this anniversary in master missions) that it's not even a big deal if you skip a couple if they are too hard. That said there are a lot of ways to tackle CQs and proto merlin arts team is just one of them. Some of them can be solo'ed, some can be done with quick teams, some can be done with buster teams, some can be done with arts teams that don't use Lady Avalon (Reines, Tamamo, Pope Jo next year, etc), you also have command seals for them as well. So I really don't feel like any particular CQ oriented servant is ever a must have. Your mileage might vary of course. If they ever change CQ reward to be 1 ticket instead of 1 lore, I would definitely reconsider my stance.
I don’t think every support needs to enable farming though. So I take a bit issue with your statement. Because I don’t think units should be automatically skipped just because a guy on the internet told you so and so. You should weigh your options based on what you need and want. Are there valid reasons for skipping Lady Avalon? Sure. If you still need a universal farmer like Ibuki, or you’re confident enough in your roster that you think you’ll be fine without her in CQs, etc. Just something rubs me the wrong way about going “oh this servant doesn’t factor into 3 turn brainrot? SKIP.”
You could sink some effort on Hundred Face Hassan. She basically is Ushiwakamaru of Assassins and she can generate a lot of stars with NPAAE chain with her star drop skill.
I couldn't resist the temptation and got Summer Musashi after 30 tickets and 2 multis, so now I'm seriously considering going after Lady Avalon if I have anything left over from my Summer Skadi pulls
you say she is a must summon but then say you arent going to compare her to the closest comparable unit, she is very good because she has more synergy in arts stall comps but no she is not a must summon, if you have merlin you dont need her and if you dont have merlin then most of the time you can use a friend support proto merlin, you dont need 2 proto merlins so you can always just use a friends the only scenario she is really worth having is if you want the arts synergy for a node that wont let you borrow someone elses
Since I´m getting ruler melusine next year and have my muramasa np2 2k/2k dont really need ibuki so my priority is skadi then lady avalon...tho with just 430 SQ and 20 tikets...gotta pray for the gacha gods
For muramasa you should wait for castoria banner or go for proto Merlin, for Morgan you need koyan and Oberon and if You get proto Merlin might as well go for ibuki to straightup replace muramasa 💀@@ZakuZuko

I used a ticket and got gareth then i did a multi got nothing not even an event ce then i rolled a few singles got her after the 4th this banner was a rollercoaster Now i have to pray to RNGsus my 90 sq is enough to get skadi and ibuki
the problem i have with all these arts support is that while she is great, Double castoria is still better... The only real usage i see for her is chalenge quests...
Double castria isn’t better for stall in CQs. Double castria has no sustain. Solemn defense is pretty good but only gets super OP after overcharge bonuses.
@@zeroone2731 There are two extremely difficult Quests that will happen in the future that will push you to the limit, even more so than what came before them. They are a gauntlet of 10 waves that will NOT allow you to use any Support Servant, so it's limited to your own roster. They also only allow you to use the front line of 3 Servants per wave, for a total of 30 Servants participating. Each wave will have its own gimmick, like forcing you to beat both enemies on the field at the same time, or the one left revives the other. They further restrict what you can do by disallowing the use of duplicate Servants or CEs across all of the parties, so no using multiple Gongs with multiple KScopes to cheese waves. To top it off, you also won't be allowed revives with Command Seals, SQ, or the Blue Revive Cubes, though you can still use Seals to charge NPs/heal. They made changes to the second Quest to better help players clear it. The first one is going to stop a bunch of players in their tracks. On top of this, advanced quests do not allow you to borrow from friends
calling it a must pull is such bait. with the amount of broken arts supports you'll never feel like you missed out on anything if you don't get her. I can think of times where I'm like "oh if only I had castoria, oberon, koyan" etc but she will not be one of those.
i mean yes. Reines is in my opinion as good as her (and more generic) because of her broken NP which is both offensive and defensive. But What really makes Merlin interesting is her Class Type. I really hope i get because i want both merlins in my account. My long time lost first account have main Merlin as the first 5* from limited banner (i lost that account sadly) i want to recover him so bad.
If u dont use arts team u dont need lady Avalon , go for skadi ruler, in my case i dont use Quick team and i need an arts sup for my team so im going for lady
I'm pretty torn on whether I want lady Avaloncor Ruler Skadi, I have a lot of art servants but I already have my own castoria but I know Ruler skadi is really good so Im super split and trying to go for both I dunno if im that luck. I already have np2 summer Musashi so no ibuki for me, shes also not my type of servant character wise so im good
After multiple failures of pulling Castoria, and throwing all my anni funds away for a single copy of Archetype Earth, I was blessed by Lady Avalon after 3 singles. I can FINALLY be a little less scuffed when it comes to arts looping, being able to utilize both Xu Fu and Lady Avalon for loads of Arts buffs, or if my servant already provides themselves with enough starting power, Oberon for extra power. Now I hope I can get lucky with Summer Ibuki, since I love her design lol
So if I have to choose between her and Summer Skadi, who should I go for? I'm not a huge fan of Ibuki cuz her design is almost too much in certain places, so she's out.
Well mostly depends on what uou have. If you have Castoria and Tammy Caster then I recommend goinfor Skadi but if you lack a good arts team the Proto Merlin is a good idea too. Go for what you lack or go for what you feel would be more valuable. If you have a bunch of Quick units but no Quick support then definitely pick Skadi
Depends on your box, if you have Castoria then you don’t NEED to go for proto Merlin. If you have Skadi, you don’t NEED to go for Summer Skadi. If you have both, depending on if you main arts or quick, but I’d say Summer Skadi since she offers more viability for quick if you want to use quick. Proto Merlin is good, but we have Castoria who’s already an insane arts support ontop of being great defensively. Summer Skadi just amps up quick even better than regular Skadi, so she’s a direct upgrade.
Lady Avalon is nice to have in my opinion. It is like this Castoria > oberon > koyan light > S.Skadi > Skadi = Lady Avalon = Merlin. You'll want someone to help to farm everyday first, then aim for harder content (those 3 after S.Skadi)
What kind of a "normal person" would bond level an SSR to 8 or 9 before unlocking their Mana Loading append, when it unlocks once the NP1 hits Bond 6? Lavalon's my main target of Summer for my main account. I suck at saving, and I was planning to save more, but all I'm left with at this point is the 537 SQ FA master mission rewards from the Anniversary, and 4 Servants which will give me 30 SQ each from bond levels next battle they participate in. I'll probably blow most, if not all, of this on Lavalon, with maybe only a few multis left for the rest. Skadi showing up a week into the event will likely get 1-2 multis max, and that's only if Lavalon doesn't avoid me. My 2nd account blew its load on Summer Musashi to try to save my main account from rolling those aforementioned 537 SQ, so it'll only have maybe 5 multis or so which I hope to save for Summer Skadi (probably not gonna happen.)
I don t have a good dps for aoe and zero good berserker in general is it a good investment to go for Ibuki and skip lady Avalon ? (I am sure to have Ibuki because enough for pity)
Rolling for Protomerlin, then saving for Tiamat and Aesc. That said, how good are the LB7 units? I know Nitoalter is waifu but what about the two god(s)? Speaking as someone with a complete Morgan/Merlin/Castoria team for CQs and farming options consisting of NP2 Dantes, and NP2 Space Ishtar with Waver, Skadi, Castoria, and Oberon/Koyan.

I agree with the advice above by @comicsans8994. I've played for many years without having Merlin and haven't had any major problems clearing content. Lady Avalon is Merlin for arts teams. She's certainly a great unit that you can try to get eventually, but you will end up using Ruler Skadi and Ibuki more.

Honestly, theres PLENTY of F2P guides on the more challenging quests on YT, and you can always pick support Heracles/Orion/Taira/Any Other Solo servant to do everything in their own lmao As long as you can build a farming team (cause thats most of the game, honestly) you can have a good time.

There are budget farming characters like Arash, Chen Gong and Spartacus, but since you're a new player you can just save a fuck ton of SQ to get anyone you want to be honest? You could get a buster farmer and then Koyanskaya/Oberon, you can aim for a Quick farmer and grab Summer Skadi thats releasing this event (she acts as a support and a damage servant too so she can carry you while you wait), or you can aim for an Arts farmer and get castoria later on (literally the best support in the game). The possibilities are endless and its too much to explain here, you should save your Quartz and watch some guides while you decide on WHO you want to pull for.

I get the two of them pn Jp and, Merlin on My personal opinion (i have an Merlin bond 15 on Na) it's better in allmost all situations. Proto Merlin get to defeat Merlin when She's on a Arts team. But overall, they do allmost they same thing, only that Merlin in general do it better and Proto Merlin it's a upgrde only in arts team If You go for her it's because You like it, if not, go for Ibuki
If you don't have any unit that can hand off 50% charge to another unit, get summer skadi. Summer skadi allows you to farm with Aoe quick units and helps with characters that have 2buster/2quick decks to maximize crit damage. she pairs pretty well with a upcoming berserker (Sen-no-rikyu) for farming. Lady avalon makes for an amazing unit for arts teams in challenge quests to allow them to sustain and fire off their noble phantasms constantly. Outside of that, she along with her counterpart (merlin) suck for farming, which is 90% of the game. SSkadi meanwhile can be both used in farming and as a challenge quests support.
I agree with the above. Ruler Skadi is the BEST unit this summer IF you use quick teams or plan to use them. Lady Avalon is a "nice to have" unit particularly if you don't have Merlin and use arts teams frequently. I'm going for both, but that's because I don't have Merlin and I do play Arts teams a lot.

Man i have morgan at np 1 and shes amazing. She fits with all type of team, stall, crit team, aoe clearing np. Really loving her rn

Enough about that, lets talk about Nagao. Nagao can crit hard for the next 5 turn if her card shows up and one art card can give her minimum of 50% NP refund to 100%+. I seen higher. So basically you nearly can crit and use NP for the next 5 turn on every each turn.
So yeah, real cheat mode.
The problem with Proto Merlin is same as OG Merlin in the current meta, she's a good support but having 20% party charge is a killer for farming so she's mostly a CQ support and that alone makes her not a must summon IMO.
That said, if you are a new player, I think she's a must summon because you can combine Proto Merlin and Xu Fu with support Castoria to let you loop like double Castoria and that's very valuable until you get your own Castoria.
I just need her cause I don't have Castoria yet and I really wanna beat Cernunnos 😭 so I'mma have to do a Solemn Unit with Proto instead of OG Merlin
@@resurrectedpa That's a valid reason to get her so go for it. Although we do periodically get leyline stones that works like 3 command seals and that helps a lot for tough story chapters like that.
I mean i dont belive that is a good statement. Farming is a top priority but i struggle more in CQ and SQ than farming set-ups. 3 turn and even 4 turn farming (5 turn with bad card luck) 90+ nodes is not THAT difficult this days. People will struggle more with the actually hard quest even when they spend 80% of their game time farming. There are soo many units to fix Farming nodes. Arash for example.
I have the tools to make 3turn Buster farming without Arash. Just need to 10/10/10 my oberon and Morgan (or my NP3 Arcueid) but i have not rush in that because Grial Arash NP5 can clear with attack from the plug suit buff mooost 3 enemy nodes so 2 turn loop is all i need. I feel like you will pull for farming units without even trying (just because most popular units are almost every time Farming units) so i honestly belive that pull for hard quest supports is more a Must in general.
@@KaiserTheDarkWolf There are only a handful of CQs (usually 1 per event, sometimes 2) each year with fairly minimal rewards (we got so much lores this anniversary in master missions) that it's not even a big deal if you skip a couple if they are too hard.
That said there are a lot of ways to tackle CQs and proto merlin arts team is just one of them. Some of them can be solo'ed, some can be done with quick teams, some can be done with buster teams, some can be done with arts teams that don't use Lady Avalon (Reines, Tamamo, Pope Jo next year, etc), you also have command seals for them as well. So I really don't feel like any particular CQ oriented servant is ever a must have. Your mileage might vary of course.
If they ever change CQ reward to be 1 ticket instead of 1 lore, I would definitely reconsider my stance.
I don’t think every support needs to enable farming though. So I take a bit issue with your statement. Because I don’t think units should be automatically skipped just because a guy on the internet told you so and so.
You should weigh your options based on what you need and want. Are there valid reasons for skipping Lady Avalon? Sure. If you still need a universal farmer like Ibuki, or you’re confident enough in your roster that you think you’ll be fine without her in CQs, etc. Just something rubs me the wrong way about going “oh this servant doesn’t factor into 3 turn brainrot? SKIP.”

You could sink some effort on Hundred Face Hassan. She basically is Ushiwakamaru of Assassins and she can generate a lot of stars with NPAAE chain with her star drop skill.

you say she is a must summon but then say you arent going to compare her to the closest comparable unit, she is very good because she has more synergy in arts stall comps but no she is not a must summon, if you have merlin you dont need her and if you dont have merlin then most of the time you can use a friend support proto merlin, you dont need 2 proto merlins so you can always just use a friends
the only scenario she is really worth having is if you want the arts synergy for a node that wont let you borrow someone elses

Double castria isn’t better for stall in CQs. Double castria has no sustain. Solemn defense is pretty good but only gets super OP after overcharge bonuses.
@@zeroone2731 There are two extremely difficult Quests that will happen in the future that will push you to the limit, even more so than what came before them. They are a gauntlet of 10 waves that will NOT allow you to use any Support Servant, so it's limited to your own roster. They also only allow you to use the front line of 3 Servants per wave, for a total of 30 Servants participating. Each wave will have its own gimmick, like forcing you to beat both enemies on the field at the same time, or the one left revives the other. They further restrict what you can do by disallowing the use of duplicate Servants or CEs across all of the parties, so no using multiple Gongs with multiple KScopes to cheese waves. To top it off, you also won't be allowed revives with Command Seals, SQ, or the Blue Revive Cubes, though you can still use Seals to charge NPs/heal. They made changes to the second Quest to better help players clear it. The first one is going to stop a bunch of players in their tracks.
On top of this, advanced quests do not allow you to borrow from friends

calling it a must pull is such bait. with the amount of broken arts supports you'll never feel like you missed out on anything if you don't get her. I can think of times where I'm like "oh if only I had castoria, oberon, koyan" etc but she will not be one of those.
i mean yes. Reines is in my opinion as good as her (and more generic) because of her broken NP which is both offensive and defensive. But What really makes Merlin interesting is her Class Type. I really hope i get because i want both merlins in my account. After multiple failures of pulling Castoria, and throwing all my anni funds away for a single copy of Archetype Earth, I was blessed by Lady Avalon after 3 singles. I can FINALLY be a little less scuffed when it comes to arts looping, being able to utilize both Xu Fu and Lady Avalon for loads of Arts buffs, or if my servant already provides themselves with enough starting power, Oberon for extra power. Now I hope I can get lucky with Summer Ibuki, since I love her design lol

Well mostly depends on what uou have. If you have Castoria and Tammy Caster then I recommend goinfor Skadi but if you lack a good arts team the Proto Merlin is a good idea too. Go for what you lack or go for what you feel would be more valuable. If you have a bunch of Quick units but no Quick support then definitely pick Skadi
Depends on your box, if you have Castoria then you don’t NEED to go for proto Merlin. If you have Skadi, you don’t NEED to go for Summer Skadi. If you have both, depending on if you main arts or quick, but I’d say Summer Skadi since she offers more viability for quick if you want to use quick. Proto Merlin is good, but we have Castoria who’s already an insane arts support ontop of being great defensively. Summer Skadi just amps up quick even better than regular Skadi, so she’s a direct upgrade.
Lady Avalon is nice to have in my opinion. It is like this Castoria > oberon > koyan light > S.Skadi > Skadi = Lady Avalon = Merlin. You'll want someone to help to farm everyday first, then aim for harder content (those 3 after S.Skadi)
Proto merlin doesn't really need the extra np per turn on the party as much as buster would if they ran original merlin

Lavalon's my main target of Summer for my main account. I suck at saving, and I was planning to save more, but all I'm left with at this point is the 537 SQ FA master mission rewards from the Anniversary, and 4 Servants which will give me 30 SQ each from bond levels next battle they participate in. I'll probably blow most, if not all, of this on Lavalon, with maybe only a few multis left for the rest. Skadi showing up a week into the event will likely get 1-2 multis max, and that's only if Lavalon doesn't avoid me.
My 2nd account blew its load on Summer Musashi to try to save my main account from rolling those aforementioned 537 SQ, so it'll only have maybe 5 multis or so which I hope to save for Summer Skadi (probably not gonna happen.)
Im rolling for skadi first and the remaining goes to Femerlin.

Speaking as someone with a complete Morgan/Merlin/Castoria team for CQs and farming options consisting of NP2 Dantes, and NP2 Space Ishtar with Waver, Skadi, Castoria, and Oberon/Koyan.

I agree with the advice above by @comicsans8994. I've played for many years without having Merlin and haven't had any major problems clearing content. Lady Avalon is Merlin for arts teams. She's certainly a great unit that you can try to get eventually, but you will end up using Ruler Skadi and Ibuki more.
skadi and ibuki better, but if youre not quick or arts looping even those 2 are not must summon. buster is meta.

There are budget farming characters like Arash, Chen Gong and Spartacus, but since you're a new player you can just save a fuck ton of SQ to get anyone you want to be honest?
You could get a buster farmer and then Koyanskaya/Oberon, you can aim for a Quick farmer and grab Summer Skadi thats releasing this event (she acts as a support and a damage servant too so she can carry you while you wait), or you can aim for an Arts farmer and get castoria later on (literally the best support in the game).
The possibilities are endless and its too much to explain here, you should save your Quartz and watch some guides while you decide on WHO you want to pull for.

I get the two of them pn Jp and, Merlin on My personal opinion (i have an Merlin bond 15 on Na) it's better in allmost all situations.

If you don't have any unit that can hand off 50% charge to another unit, get summer skadi. Summer skadi allows you to farm with Aoe quick units and helps with characters that have 2buster/2quick decks to maximize crit damage. she pairs pretty well with a upcoming berserker (Sen-no-rikyu) for farming. Lady avalon makes for an amazing unit for arts teams in challenge quests to allow them to sustain and fire off their noble phantasms constantly. Outside of that, she along with her counterpart (merlin) suck for farming, which is 90% of the game. SSkadi meanwhile can be both used in farming and as a challenge quests support.
I agree with the above. Ruler Skadi is the BEST unit this summer IF you use quick teams or plan to use them. Lady Avalon is a "nice to have" unit particularly if you don't have Merlin and use arts teams frequently. I'm going for both, but that's because I don't have Merlin and I do play Arts teams a lot.
