In preparation for the Fla. Classic Battle of the Bands 2009 the FAMU Marching 100 broadens its musical scope by playing a staple piece from the Corps style literature
This is hot. I'm so glad I go to FAMU and march with the "100". No other band puts on PRODUCTIONS and is as versatile and original as the "100". . .no need for trash talk. The proof is DEFINITELY in the puddin. . . Hubba "100" I'ma miss you all. . . Fall 2k7
There are some sloppy parts, but this sounds pretty damn good to me, considering the amount of musicians it had to be perfected by. My only gripe is the tempo. It seems a little slow, generally, but again, it's understandable due to the amount of people playing. Overall, Hubba Hundred. Keep this sort of musical expansion and open mindedness goin.
@novian03 I was actually asking a question...I'm probably as big a fan of the musicians of the 100 that you will find...no hating here...don't take things so personal...
I march in a corps style band. This is our opener. This is the best I have heard so far. I told all of my band to practice with this video.

Musicianship at its best!

This sounds really good. But the bells are kinda sloppy
Those FHorms in the beginning setting the tone for the rest of the tune. #ChefKiss
versatility. Like no other band.
@psibertiger Now THAT IS an Excellent Piece
this sounds like the dci version and they play it better then them as well

@novian03 Isnt this a Jazz song that was made popular in the 80's or 90's by DCI bands?
This is the Scouts version....Scouts played this a lot faster.....played in 1980
@iEaTmOuThPiEcEs Thank you for not hating...I love it when we as musicians can give Props where they are due.
Great!
idk if it was where the camera man was at but the trumpets are killing ya'll (in a bad way) on some parts. otherwise very nice job as always 100

Of course they sound amazing...its hard not to with 500 players...but this is a really watered down version. Beef it up some!
