    "If they dont do it, do it yourself, sentry are just 50g" and "if you see that theirs position 5 tries to disrupt your position 4 pools YOU CAN HELP THEM!" From a support player i can tell theses 2 lines are the most important thing i would like that my pos 3 KNOW.

    Thankful for TH-cam for sending me here. One of the best offlane videos (and general Dota help) I’ve seen. I really like your outlook on the game, and while I try to keep this in mind during games, I often find myself easily tilted and losing the mental game. Any general tips to not get too worked up by things in game? I find it very hard coming back from a bad mental spot because a few small details or players got to me (even if I drew lane or am not in the worst spot NW wise). Thanks for the video!

    • @AurelianoShowsTheWorld
      @AurelianoShowsTheWorld  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thank you for your words, man! Hope this video will help you reach new heights!
      About the mental strength. Athletes in common sports like swimming or boxing try to get strong not only physically but emotionally too. It's very important and without mental strength you'll be losing games that you should've won. You need to train this mental muscle. How to do that - I don't know. Personally I'm a very chill person and I always try not to be rushed, and to look at things not from my own tunnel-vision eyes, but from the above perspective. If you play a lot - I suggest to play less. Just try to look at the situations that tilt you from the outside perspective and be smarter.
      But yeah, I'm not an expert in this topic, I just have it in me naturally. Maybe try to search some youtube videos?

      @@AurelianoShowsTheWorld Hey man, appreciate it. I wanted to note, that people don't understand the power of hero-spamming, even for playing roles that aren't supposed to: you get to learn the hero from every aspect of it.
      The point you made about not following guides, and creating yours (after some experience, of course, with the hero), is big: it means that you know the strengths and weaknesses of him, and you can ADAPT your playstyle, accordingly.
      Also, the other point about limiting your choices to 4 heroes: BIG. I tried it today, and I can't tell you how it forces you to FOCUS, and think: which heroes do I like most, and MASTER, in order to DOMINATE?
      Seriously, it's no coincidence why you got to Immo rank. Thanks!
      Should I post any questions here, or elsewhere?

    • @AurelianoShowsTheWorld

      @@jasoncassios7114 , I'm a self proclaimed god gamer after all. I know how to win in video games, haha :D I'm glad that this guide is helpful to you, my dude!
      I'd not recommend to spam core heroes when playing support roles for example, because you can ruin games for others, it's not healthy for the community. You should have a separate hero pool for other heroes ideally. But yeah, you can play offlane heroes in mid and safelane, that's for sure and it might help you to really understand the hero. Personally I can say that I understand a hero after 2-3 weeks of spamming it btw.
      Every point I've included is important, and you can't reach immortal without perfecting every single point I've made.
      You can add comments here, and i'll reply, sure. But if i'll miss it for some reason, you can message me on reddit www.reddit.com/user/nshkaruba/

    10:43 I think here you could aggro your creeps up when your ranged is 50% hp, secure the enemy ranged with your Q and then because your ranged is in deny range you can contest the PL for it, I think what you did is good when you are 1v2 and their 5 could punish you for going for the range. I really liked your guide by the way, very detailed.

      @AurelianoShowsTheWorld  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, maybe. There's much to be learned in the creep equilibrium. I'm doing it pretty well, I'd say, but not perfect! To me deny their ranged creep is more important than killing my own, because it's reliable

    Love this guide. I have 350 hrs in dota2 and started with Nemestice and Aghanim's labyrinth mode. I main Primal, Tide, Tiny offlane, Zeus mid. I got Crusader 5 2210 MMR this week after rank uncertainty. By now, I can do combos well, LH okay (I'm a LoL player) and execute teamfights, but have been lacking in timing behind map movements, smokes, pulling strategy and ingame roles. This guide is exactly what I need to crack Archon and press on. I will live to make pos1 regret queueing. Thank you
    P.S. the best lesson from the video was your emphasis on lane vs. jungle. I tend to go jungle too fast and get underleveled even though it feels like I'm farming (for example @ 10 min.)

    • @AurelianoShowsTheWorld
      @AurelianoShowsTheWorld  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In high mmr games, you can just provide control and tankiness, and your team will capitalize on that. But in low mmr they will not. So you should pick heroes that can deal lots of damage and carry games solo.
      I suggest to pick Slardar, Viper, Alchemist, Bristleback, Legion Commander, Wraith King, Axe in no particular order. BB is very strong btw

    Excellent video. I will say there is one note to clarify. There is definitely hidden pools and factors to the matchmaking. The game does in fact try to force a 50/50 win rate as much as it can. It does this through machine learning and it's trueskill balance algorithm. To deny it's existence is disingenuous. I do believe it can obviously be overcome, and there may be merit in best not thinking about it, but it does exist I assure you.

    • @AurelianoShowsTheWorld

      I climbed pretty fast (4 months from Archon to Immortal), and the game didn't try to stop me. It's just way to chaotic and there's a lot to be learned, so my take on it is that sometimes we try to justify ourselves with really anything, it's like a defensive human mechanism.
      It's much easier to forget about it entirely and try to be better every game you play.
