Monstrous 4 cylinder. Though I personally think this monster would benefit a lot having hood latches and things dotted around the car so it doesn't shake the body panels off. od
@@FamilyCTSV it's just a way of expression, why you have to be harsh to it? Also 17 yards correspond to 15.5 meters, it definitely could be heard if the turbo is loud enough...
What a beast!! Ive loved these ever since they came out!! I think it was Brooklyns? the thing is on fire and ripping itself to pieces down the straight with the power!!! Haha!! Sounds great!!!!! Nice quality video there mate!! (the body panels for this car were made by Reliant - they made the Reliant Robin 3 wheeler!) Love it Thanks! - I also love that huge forge sticker on the spoiler...might nick that idea ;)
This car's had a rough life so far, crashed both at pikes peak and crashed goodwood and looks like it's body panels have a toxic relationship with each other, but it still looks and sounds amazing
@@ashy_gee6 you dont have think about.. there are only a view units under 100 originals left on the world. A lot of the Stradale and works versions are destroyed in rally cross in early and mid 90's. I would say you can buy a Ferrari F40 for the price of a original RS200. But.. and here coms the good news. it es easy to recreate a RS200. For, 150.000-200.000 you can built your own car.
I would suspect the current body panels have been made deliberately thin for the purpose of weight saving. I’ve seen sprint cars with similarly loose tissue thin panels.
When Pat Doran used it in Rallycross it had a slightly smaller version of that wing in the same place, but I'm not sure if its the same car or not. I know he's had at least two and this one he bought of a German hillclimb driver. And it had a different wing at the time.
@@izalich Different car. The family have two RS200, one rallycross car and this hillclimb car. The rallycross car is the chassis Pat has used since the 90's, this hillclimb car came from Germany.
Not optimal setup. Handling must be thamed, throtle too. The car is a killer, but needs a proffesional to care for some stuff. Bigger tyres, a lot bigger.
Looks to be ill handling and poorly prepared car to be honest. Plenty of power and that’s it. Check out the likes of Bruno’s S4 Delta for a properly setup machine.
An absolute monster. Never seen a car so eager to run away from itself! Thanks for posting! 👍
4:10 thats one way to describe the rs200 😄
I watched this on my 82” Samsung TV and listened to it through my surround sound home theater system.
It was almost as good as being there in person 👍
sw4gr1d oh really?
And what brand would you consider better?
@@stevej6824 Samsung's top of the line is nice, but I prefer OLED. A sony OLED is the way to go imo.
Weird flex but ok
Leander yes the Sony OLED are really nice but out of my price range.
Nobody cares 😂😂😂

That car is falling apart every time its filmed 😂
Typical Ford quality.
Lakisleon its pretty much not even a ford anymore, you cant expect a car like that to handle 900hp without breaking
Ford RS200 is probably my favourite car but you beat me to it with saying this one is literally falling apart every time it’s filmed
Them panels getting sketchy
Has it ever had clean run?
You can literally hear the Turbos from 17 yards, holy moly....
Chto ty deyalesh 17 yards? Learn your measurements before using them kid.

Dude drives this thing hard as hell!
Seen this a couple of times at Goodwood. This thing is an absolute monster, love it!!
Auto da sogno 🥰🥰🥰! Peccato che non fanno più auto così !
Too shocked to describe..really a monster on the road..great tuning work !

When he does the full bore launch in front of Goodwood house I was may be 30-40 metres to the right of you. It just took off.
That splitter is dope
I love the RS200 !
I love love the RS200. I would buy it before an exotic.
RS200 is more exotic than a exotic. In 2002 a had the opportunity for 130.000€
@@DaEVOthefreak how much are they now?

Nice video:)
Finally!
Original ones are now 6-7-800k
Is that wing manufactured specifically for this car? Or is it just an f1 wing stuck on the back? Just looks odd.
Mert Lad 😂 I thought the exact same thing: it looks too narrow for what it’s mounted on

Doesn't sound powerful enough for 900hp. I would guess 700-750
hangm4n probably isnt using full boost at circuits like goodwood
