If it wasn’t Mitchell, I was always high on Derozan. Because he has a potent in between game with all the shooters we have already. Also, I am intrigued by the Trae Young signing as well due to his ability to see the floor and truly add spacing. Not to mention his IQ in seeing players and getting them the ball in tight spaces. He sets up the floor, scores, and the defensive oops have to remain true. Either one of these picks but Demar is intriguing

It actually sounds like a certain era of the Boston Celtics (1985 - 1986) season. You had Larry Bird who was really the only player to regularly put up three's, and made them at a 42% rate. Second was Danny Ainge and he didn't even average 1 three a game (overall a 35% from three that year). That team averaged 114pts a game. The Heat even giving up who we'd have to give up, would still have three point shooters on the team with Bam, Jimmy & DeRozan. Maybe it's Duncan, Richardson or Jovic or Highsmith, who knows? But my point is, that we'd have an incredible big 3, and more three point shooters than the (arguably) best Celtics team in history. And I haven't even mentioned our newcomers who may still be with us, but I don't give up the farm for a one year rental. For the record, yes... I'm from Boston, born and raised, but I'm a Heat fan having lived in So Fla over 20 years. I went to games, went to the first parade in '96; I support the Heat 100% (not the Celtics). I didn't even watch them in the finals this year, but Larry Bird will forever be my all time favorite NBA player.
I have to disagree strongly about replacing Tyler with DeMar. Just based on basketball, you can’t have three non-three-point shooters on the floor and Tyler is a much better three-point shooter. I would rather stick with him and put the pressure on Jimmy to be out there alongside him and provide some ball gravity to get Tyler open. And if Derozan is coming off the bench, what’s the point?
