I used to love tricep push downs w my cable machine but some days, it puts my shoulder in a weird position and causes discomfort so the lying DB tricep extensions on the floor have quickly become a favorite.
Great session man! Those hammer strength presses are impressive! I think the rows looked great. You can see a lot of scapular movement which is kinda the point.
Thanks man, exactly, those rows are mainly for the scapular movement and they feel awesome. I’m loving that Hammer Strength machine, it’s so much fun to just load it up and go heavy.
Cable workouts are my favorite tricep exercise. Barbells are very tricky. I am always afraid when I add extra weight. That inclined press machine and cable machine are perfect to build symmetrical upper body. Will love to know your back routine.
Yeah I love cable tricep push downs and lying tricep extensions. If you check out my video “Home Gym Quick Back Workout” that’s gonna be a good idea on how I train my back. Usually I use more weight; but that day I wasn’t able to get sleep the night before, but the exercises are similar for a back focused day.
I see your in your basement. Did the hammer strength and prime machines fit through your door? I’m always curious if those machines would fit through a standard door?
Hammer strength breaks down very nicely but that was delivered by a team. They had an impact gun and wrench and unbolted that thing in no time. Took it down in 3-4 pieces. Prime Fitness Row machine came fully assembled and I had to break that down w a buddy and carry it downstairs. Prime Single stack comes unassembled and easily can be carried downstairs and assembled. Hope this helps!!
Deceptively very strong, lot of muscle on that lean frame Are U using a certain advertised workout like 5-3-1, the Texas Method, Mentzers HIIT, or one of yours? Have U stayed on a specific workout for a long time or are U switching up things. Curious to know as it seems to really be working!!! Man, keep it up!!!
Thanks Bobby, the strong portion seems to only transfer over into pressing lately, the legs could use some work. Have you ever heard of Eugene Teo? I’m using his Ganbaru app and running his upper/lower program with some slight modifications. I’ve only been doing it for a few months but one thing I enjoy is the principal of less is more. Since I’m a hard gainer, taking the approach to going heavy and close to failure instead of a ton of 8-12 reps seems to be more effective for me. I still struggle to get my calories in but it’s nice to see some progress.
@@GoreckiFit Haven't heard of it but I will check it out. I like your High Intesity program, when I do the High Reps, I too feel like I never recover from it
@@bobbyhunt3009 this one also has me increase my rest times for a lot of the heavier lifts compared to the old programs I’ve used where it was 60-90 secs. He also has a TH-cam channel with a ton of helpful content so definitely worth checking him out.
Your gym is a Utopia bro. Beautiful!
Appreciate that!!
Nice workout, Tim!
Thanks man, it was a fun one at least!!
I also go with the floor (just a preference) and dumbbells for lying tri extentions. DBs have always been the only pain-free version for me.

If you ain't making the stank face, you ain't really lifting! lol Nice workout, bro.
Ain’t that the truth 😂
Do you like the skull crushers better on the floor? Seems like it'd be a pain to get down there, but maybe i'm lazy
Yeah I prefer them on the floor, but it’s personal preference of course, doing them on a bench works just fine too.
