*DUDE, YOU'RE EATING FISH AND CHIPS WITH A **_DAMN_** FORK AND KNIFE?*
Back in '05 we visited Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival. We went to a fish and chips spot that served customers' fish and chips on butcher's paper; the correct method! We ate our fish and chips with our damn hands with a cold beer _right on the sidewalk!_ It was one of the greatest experiences in our travels and we still talk about it today. The fish back then was haddock. We received two whale-sized pieces of fish cooked to perfection. The fish you bought in this video looks like a battered mess from the frozen section in a GMO grocery store. Who the _EFF_ eat finger food with a fork and knife; let alone plastic. #BUSSY

What place did you visit? I was trying to be respectful for the video I eat with my hands at home, lol

It looked good, but seemed a bit high priced to me. We are coming to Edinburgh in August. Which restaurant do you recommend for fish and chips?

Yea, it's high in price, but popular with torrist I don't rate it considering my reviews at the end

Wanderluster - He had another video where he reviews The Cannonball Restaurant on the Royal Mile. That’s where I’m eating when I go! Not a cheap place, but watch the video - gorgeously done- you’ll see it’s a worthy stop. Will this be your first time in Edinburgh?

I‘m sorry to hear you were disappointed over Bertie‘s Proper Fish & Chips. We ate there three times in a row last august and liked it very much. But we had our meal upstairs in the restaurant and chose the haddock. The only thing i didn‘t like were the mushy peas but i think it was my tourist-fault. I expected minty mushy peas, but ordered only mushy peas…

@@edinburghandbeyond it probably would be to get a better sense of the restaurant but the food doesn’t change much. It’s only more expensive inside.
