hey man, I found this video where this guy gives a download link in the description of it. th-cam.com/video/tOfoPElz5eA/w-d-xo.html . It doesn't come in a z64 or project 64 file format so you will need to extract it using the online rom patcher. You can look up videos on how to extract it.
Actually, there is a Mario 64 ROM hack that is almost identical to the shoshinkai beta. It’s called The Preservation Project and it was made by Marionova64.
I know we didn't know what the snow painting was until now, but... Gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. It's high quality, sure, but other than the painting it's things we've already seen.
This is something that, once seen, can't be unseen. I now wonder how different N64 controllers would feel with square boxes instead of octagonal ones. It's like the old Arcade Stick Wars days.
It looked like a pentagonal gate to mee, like that one NX concept with the oval screen. A pentagon probably wouldn't be very good for 2D games though, huh?
Oh, wait, that does say "Kirby Bowl 64 (tentative)", doesn't it? I thought it was Air Ride at first... heck, it looks like Air Ride still, maybe the projects are related?
Well, we know that much, the question is in relation to this footage labeled "Kirby Bowl 64", that nevertheless looks more like what we'd expect out of Air Ride than a mini-golf game, right down to Kirby riding on an airboard and no sign of any golf-specific obstacles.
@@cabbusses yeah, who knows though. Air Ride came out in '01 or '02 if I remember correctly so that would be at least a 6 year development cycle, if they were ever the same game. Either way you can definitely see where Air Ride got it's inspo from.
I think he was actually saying "Doki Doki Deshita" there, reverting back to speaking Japanese as he transitioned to what he was doing next. Though considering some of the jokes in Satellaview broadcasts he's associated with,...
It comes out June 23rd, 1996. But please remember that this is an in-development version and there may be slight differences when you purchase the game in stores.
I made small clips of segments of videos uploaded by Kukun Kun because he has interesting content that can be obscured by the fact that it's in videos that can run for several hours long with no clear labels.
The USA hat is very jarring. Still, would've been awesome to go to Space World. Hopefully the Space World beta with Mel Blanc audio gets dumped someday. AWAWAWAWAWWWW
Wait, did you go to space world in this year? Or was this a recording from 1995? I’m curious if that’s even a thing space world, like if Nintendo actually yes some sort of place to go and visit called space world
Nice they got some high quality audio recorded so we can hear all the ambience and sfx...
5:13 That scream sends shivers down my spine. The pain sounds so genuine :(
It's from Looney Tunes lol
because its an looney tunes sample
@LuKa-nh3dp Yea I remember it being Mel Blanc being the guy who did all those iconic screams during this Era. An absolute legend.
mario and scatman were always meant to go well together
The nostalgia lol
Wait, when exactly?
@@Rez_97 the song at the beginning lol
@@nikoregenerator I thought of scatman instantly lol
Scatman John was absolutely HUGE in Japan, so it would make sense.
5:12 for Mario's hilarious scream

I would give just about anything to play some of these old betas.

This guy is Japanese Dashie!
Here to let you know that this comment will never get old🤣
Quanto avrei voluto visitare il Nintendo Space World nel 1995 😍😍 Grazie per questo video
I wonder if any of those prototype controllers still exist especially the purple one considering that color was never actually released
I was there.
(so honored to say that fr)
Dang somebody need to make a playlist of all the authentic spaceworld 95 music
4:36 begins slide and says "oohh no shit!"
Lmao
What really surprised me was the different synth sound used for the dire dire docks music. And Mario's crazy scream.
I am still sad nobody nabbed a copy of the beta. It would be a very nice ROM to have.
imagine if someone made a video of them smashing all of the remaining beta cartridges
Actually, there is a Mario 64 ROM hack that is almost identical to the shoshinkai beta. It’s called The Preservation Project and it was made by Marionova64.
Thanks for sharing this.

4:51 that Mario scream is hilarious.
The scream at 5:13 sounds like the same one.

Mario's beta voice is funny as hell.

Seeing that American dude in the commercial honestly blew my mind
I wish I could watch a similar video for the Mother 64 demo
kukun kun did upload a Satellaview magazine with some Mother 64 screenshots. Maybe someday...!
Those people playing the demo should have stood up, grabbed the cartridge, and run as fast as they could. Then leak it online about 30 years later.
Had a dream people leaked the build found in the patent of november 22 and i downloaded it
5:53 had no idea there were people from america at the convention. kinda wanna know where the guy is now.
Most this footage seems to mostly be of scenes we've already seen. Still really cool though!
5:10 for the scream
Is it just me or did the analog stick look like it had a square box instead of octagonal
This is something that, once seen, can't be unseen.

Oh my God, now you've got me seeing it.
No the shape was always the same, they were just way larger in the original Ultra 64 model. They changed to the final product shortly after this.
It looked like a pentagonal gate to mee, like that one NX concept with the oval screen. A pentagon probably wouldn't be very good for 2D games though, huh?
Wait, hold the phone.
There was going to be a Kirby's Dream Course 64???

The interview with the American guy was pretty funny
5:14 I thlammed my penith in the car door
At first, I thought "Space World 95" is a type of level in SM64. 🤣
Miyamoto literally hasn't changed in the last 20 years.
bro that the video with the most gameplay time of the real beta of sm64
