Love this garden journal. My best friend has a beautiful yard. She does all of the work herself. She even built a three pool pond with a waterfall. This would be perfect for her. If you haven’t watched Anne with an E on Netflix it’s a great series.
I’m pretty new to all this junk journaling fun! I wish I had kept all of my Mom’s old fun binders like the one you’re working in. I’ll have to peruse all the thrift stores as soon as this whole COVID thing has settled some. Thank you for teaching me all these awesome things to keep me busy during these times. I can't believe I donated my old Better Homes and Gardens book to Goodwill. I'm going to call a local used book shop to see if they have one. This would be so much fun! By the way, when my sister was little and she had to think about homework, she would say, "My brain hurts." Hope yours doesn't hurt after figuring out how to make the first trifold. I got a chuckle when you were talking about having to think so hard. Also hoping your back is feeling better.

I own a 1951 copy of that BHG garden journal , which was my mother’s ! It was a Xmas gift from 1953 . Don’t think I’ll repurpose it but love the secret garden theme . Thanks for ideas .

Ordered my paper. Found some other parts to the kit on lots of bubbles and a 6x 6 pad for $4.00. My notes under Gayle, have sections, I write all of your suggestions and mine. My brain goes in to over drive with ideas!!

My back and sides have been hurting because my hubby and I are doing yard work. My grandson took down our old deck and my hubby and I have been hauling boards to the dump. It’s a long slow process because my husband will only work until noon! It’s tough growing old!

When I had to do my ex husbands estate 😥he had our old binders from when we collected all these types of things, gardens pages, tools pages, cookbooks, etc. Of course, I got rid of them 😥. I had just started doing junk journals and did not have the energy or thought to kept them during that time. I still have a few of my own though! And a couple I have purchased. Love these! I went out to the antique shops today to try to find some Edith Holden books (yeah, right that was gonna happen). Anyway, I found a 1975 Better Homes and Gardens Decorating Binder Book. So, I am going to follow along with you and attempt my first ever junk journal. We shall see. (ha-ha) Nothing against your videos more about my lack of crafting abilities.
Loving how this is turning out!! Excited to start mine today and use your ideas. About a year ago, I woke up in pain and had somehow sprained my ankle in my sleep!! My husband had fun teasing me about "old age". Can't wait for the next video!! 💜

I was thinking on the one you made a trifold youcould have used a solid sheet if card stock to attach it to, but you gad a clever idea 💡
