It was cool hearing the difference in audio recording quality outside vs. in your home theater room. Sounds like you have some good acoustic treatment in that room!
@@HomeTheaterHobbyist Well let's wait and see if I can afford to actually get the cabin built, the electric ran from the street, the well drilled and setup... before you get too jealous:-). I'm also currently having a new house built so it's the priority, I'll have to wait and see how much funds are left over.
We've owned the 120" of the Yard Master 2 for many years now. Great screen, perfect for outdoor movies. We purchased self powered PA speakers for outdoors. Amazing combo. Nice review
I have a somewhat similar setup and my family loves it. This is the main reason why I bought my fire stick 4K. I use a LG sound bar for the outside viewing.
Excellent. I'm planing on a setup for my room in a similar fashion. Those cheap projectors aren't to bad for the price, 1080p seems to be the sweet spot while 720p ain't to bad either(which I have). My plan is to turn my bed into a "movie theater bed". I got the idea from LG's new "smart bed" where there a transparent oled built into the foot of the bed that rolls up and down. I was able to get a free projector screen from the same company that I bought my projector from, so it's just a matter of attaching a frame to the foot of my bed, creating a stand or shelf at the head of my bed; I've calculated that I can have a 65 inch screen easily. Movie night every night.
Nice $300 solution. Can you explain HOW you get the audio to your speaker setups. Does the projector have analog or digital audio out? What receiver set ups are you using?
Good question, I didn't get into that for this video but here's what I did. An old AV receiver (Yamaha RX-v673) was the brains behind the operation. The Apple TV (I'm pretty sure that's what I used) was connected to a receiver HDMI input then HDMI out from the receiver to the projector. The speakers were connected to the receiver for power and processing.

Awesome video! Very helpful! Thanks for taking the time to do this for the community! Keep up the great work sir!
Your welcome and thanks for watching! Please share. 😁😁
That's really cool! I'm buying 10 acres where I plan to build a small weekend getaway cabin, something like this would be pretty neat for it.
That's a great idea, just mentally picturing it and I'm jealous! 😁😁

At 4:18 one of the best movies of all time and so underrated.
It’s so fun. 😁
How’s the 1.3 gain treating you indoors?
I’m worried it might be too bright combined with a 3000 ansi lumens projector
It is bright but I don’t find it to be too bright. My seating positions aren’t super wide either so I haven’t noticed any hot spotting.
