I appreciate the pacing.
I have a 110” sable frame. I didn’t have that problem with it. It doesn’t have the little Springs it has plastic clips. I didn’t even use them all.
It's good to hear you had no problems with your screen, hopefully this is an indication that only a small amount of screens are affected. Thanks for the comment.
What projectors are you guys using? How is the quality and colors of the screen?
@@jrparker1108 I'm currently using a Panasonic AE4000U 1080p projector until the prices of native 4K projectors come down. Colors are vivid and contrast looks very good as long as you have a light controlled room. Despite stretching a 1080p image across a 120" screen, clarity and overall picture quality are excellent.
@@TwoGuyzTech is that an DLP projector? Trying to decide between DLP or 3lcd
What would you recommend for a basement? No light whatsoever. I'm using an old projector lg pf85u led, 1080. Gray or white?
Thanks!
This is a problem with a lot of screens which use springs instead of plastic tabs to tension the screen. The Elite Sable 1 & 2 use tabs to tension the screen, and I have never had this problem withe them, plus the tabs are MUCH easier to install. Recommended: Download the user manual for your screen before you purchase it. If it is larger than 100", and it uses springs for tensioning, don't buy it. Find one which uses plastic tabs for tensioning.
