To be fair he's amazingly intuitive. There is no WAY I would have made some of his amazing leaps in conclusion. Maybe I'm selling myself short. I can't say because I ruined this experience by watching videos online. I WISH I had taken the time and frustration to go through this game as Oliver has.

He would rather play and experiment and figure things out on his own for a sense of accomplishment than do what the majority of us do today which is look up wikis to save us time and effort. I think he could figure it out, since he's figured out quite a few things that chat didn't think he ever would. But maybe potions are a step too difficult without a wiki but nevermind :)
Mojang didn't add brewing recipes when crafting recipes were added, so Brewing has stayed unchanged in that respect. Figuring that out on your own will be a challenge. (I look up the recipes, because I can't remember them .. and I know what to aim for)
You oliver, should have way more Subs than you do. The level of content you provide is wholesome and so fascinating, to the point where i watch your entire stream in a whole seating. You give off pewdiepie energy, someone who does things because they love it. Youll be big in no time. Keep it up my Mundane Friend😆

Great episode! Thanks) Just thought about that you are the first streamer whose streams I am waiting for so much! Kind of addicted to this adventure :D Also think you should try Don`t Starve game)
Would it be okay share silly stuff that's NOT in the game anymore? For example: people used to hate boats. Because for the longest time, if they even brushed against the edge of the ground they would shatter into a pile of sticks and wood planks.
@@wili9571 He can lessen the amount of combinations he has to try by seeing how the ingredients interact with each other in the brewing stand. Brewing stand bout to be uber annoying to figure out (I think he’ll give up on it adventually.) Edit: even if he makes an awkward potion using nether wort by trail and error, he’s not going to think to keep going from there.
i predict that the fact he k is mostly exploring per boat will be an issue, since minecraft now generates differently depending on how close to the shore something is or something like that

This let’s play kind of shows the vast design flaws of Minecraft, but also it’s good design choices.

I'm glad you like them !!
The fact that theres no brewing guide is a total abomination. Mojang better be taking notes rn.
Eh, it's not really needed. Some mystery to figure out is fine.
It wouldn't be so bad if they added it though
@@se6369 Are you insane? There's literaly no in-game way to learn how to make potions.
@@Nico_com_c Well there literally is a single one - trying out everything. Which I agree, is very bad design.
The only possible hint that nether wart is important comes from the cleric priests master level trade of buying nether wart:/
Back in the day, even the recipe book didn’t exist. You either had to try crafting combinations by hand, or cave in by searching it up on the wiki.
Things i hope oliver does do in later episodes: right click everything that isnt a block to see if it is usable, and look up what bonemeal is irl
CHecks bag, sees 12 torches, 3 bread and no wood. "I have so much of everything I need, let's go!"

Fr his Minecraft series is my favorite thing to watch rn. It's always an emotional rollercoaster watching him play.
@Seshewn agreed. There's a different level of happiness I get from watching him. It's comforting to the Max tbh
I practically fell out of my chair when he got the wither painting third try.
2:53:47 damn that's a nice find, two shipwrecks loaded together hahaha
They must've crashed into each other during an epic battle.
yeah i dont know why that happens but i think its cuz its on a chunk border or something
I shed a tear when he couldn't make a portal because he only had 15 obsidian instead of 16.
