I love making food for my dog. I am making really good food. I even started buying farmer eggs that are washed in well water so I can put in the shells. I use to cook for my old dog. When I got my new pup I was afraid to make him food in case I didn’t get the right nutrients into it. I felt so much pressure to get it right and absolutely everything I fed him made him scratch. I took him to a Naturopath and found out everything he is sensitive to. We fixed him for the venison CARNA4 I was feeding him. Now I know exactly what I can feed him. I watched the puploaf TH-cam and bought a grinder and I am very excited to make his food. Thanks Judy Morgan. My 3 year old loves it.
My dog dances when I ask him if he's hungry! 😍 I started feeding him Dr Judy's gently cooked pup loaf, starting about 2 months ago. I switch the main protein each time for variety. His fur is so soft and his dandruff is gone! He does still have an itch in the mornings, so I suspect an environmental issue with bedding or carpet. I also started giving him homemade whole food treats. I freeze organic baby food, organic yogurt mixes, watermellon chunks, and chicken broth because he loves the crunch. He eats carrots, apples slices, homemade salmon cookie treats, and frozen green beans for snacks, too. Raw air dried lamb carteledge gives him something hard to crunch and it has removed his tarter nicely. He is one happy boi!
I found out recently from my mom that my brother was complaining about my new passion about dog nutrition. He thinks I’m crazy or something but I don’t care. I’m hearing what you say and I’m taking it seriously. I make home made food for my golden retriever. I do need to perfect my process and find the best way to store it. But no turning back, no more dog kibble in this house. Thank you for telling us the truth. ❤
I do feed Dr. Harvey’s base mixes, but the longer I study raw feeding, the less I am worried about “Balance.” I’m more concerned with nutritious. I can feed enough variety to balance it way more than my diet is balanced. The dogs won’t die or be unhealthy if it isn’t perfect. So, I will no longer obsess, and will add some DIY meals to my rotation.
God bless you, Dr. Judy. You are changing pet and pet owners' lives with this information. My elderly dog was diagnosed with CKD about a month ago, and I found you on here and watched and listened. In no time at all I went from not sure what on earth to feed him to now we have a regular dog food making routine every week. He's doing SO MUCH BETTER. And my vet told us to to give him CKD kibble, but I listed to you and he eats 100% cooked now. Thanks a million. We all are finally able to sleep through the night and he's not throwing up his meals a few times every week, and not guzzling tons of water. He has to be feeling so much better, and that makes us feel so much better too.
I advised my beauty operator that a meatball and a carrot would go a long way toward more healthy eating for her Husky. The next time I went for a haircut, she exclaimed "He LOVED it!" Big shock! WOOF! 🐺❣
Excellent. Real food is what dogs ate before some clever marketing huckster invented "dog food," not for the health of the dogs, but for the convenience of the owners.
I've researched making dog food or buying it, particularly a raw diet. I read that cooking removes a lot of the nutrients and "good things" in their food. Yet you cook your dogs meals. Please advise ! I Know you are a good medical resource and will now go to your online page. TY
Dr Judy My 2 year old white German Shepherd had stitches therefore was under anesthetic. That was last Monday and now she is experiencing incontinence. 😞 she has been so healthy. I’m so sad she is going through this. How can I help her naturally? Please help.
Thank you, Dr. Judy! When I change to homemade food, my dog gets loose stool, then diarrhea and finally bloody diarrhea in a matter of days. I have to switch to a prescription diet. I've tried both baked and slow cooker, variety of meats, and veggies (from this channel recipes). What am I doing wrong? Cooking it wrong, is it too much fiber for him? Thanks in advance for your answer ❤️❤️

Thank you for teaching us we can do better for our precious dogs. Great enlightening story.❤❤❤❤❤
What a great story! Thanks for sharing. I have just learned about all the bad food. :(

Great comment.
Thanks Dr. Judy.
I've been making it for my dog for 6 years. I use Dr. Ruth Roberts DVM CrockPet Diet.
Dr. Judy is the best! Dog food first, human food last. Priorities ✅
Couldn’t agree more

Awesome!
L💜VE this and our dogs L💜VE your Constitutions! 🥩🍖🍗🐾🐶🐕
You’ve taught me so much! Thank you 🙏
Started feeding fresh years ago. Nothing like watching my dog bounce around the kitchen at meal time.

This sounds so much like me, I love it 🤣

And the pockets of the banksters.

Cooking at lower temperature doesn't kill nutrients.
She does cooked as well as raw.

Sad no reply to your question
Maybe dog has giardia,?..
Maybe raw or gently cooked?
