I just did this Friday! I wasn't fortunate enough to have a nice sandy ground though lol. Was all rock and clay here in TN. I had to drive rods at approx 45° (give or take). One of which only made it about 6'. This was a 1st for me with the arc weld opposed to acorns also. Pretty cool stuff! Our was almost just like yours but we had these little "cups" with a metal strip you just set inside the mold and then we had a charger/igniter that's battery operated you attach to that, lift the handle and pull the trigger to ignite it. Same concept just a little different. I'm still not 💯 why cad weld is needed (or even required opposed to acorns) and also I'm not sure I'm sold on the Delta ground either as I couldn't find anything per NEC on it and it wasn't speced in the prints either. Nice video also!

Look up Delta ground and isolated ground receptacles. They used to do some weird things back in the day. The delta config is a carry over from yesteryear. The triangle otherwise does nothing special.

@@TheElectriciansGuild All the hospital stuff I have done here is always all isolated grounds. If we use MC it's the hospital grade (green stuff) with the extra aluminum ground wire that wraps around the sheathing. From my understanding they use the isolated grounds on sensitive equipment and I agree, I think the delta ground "triangle grounding" is more theory than anything lol.
