Hi! I'm new here and just bought my first fukien tea bonsai! I am so excited for the future. I am so glad I stumbled across your channel. Thank you for helping those of us new to the hobby!
Hi guys! I just found and bought a Fukien Tea, and I want it to be my first bonsai, but I'm so nervous about it and don't know where to begin hehe. Glad to see your Fukien Tea is doing well. New sub here!
Got a Juniper Pfitziana at about this stage. Liked your other video where you said "one bonsai is zero bonsai" now I have 7. Appreciated the tip of it helps spread your focus so you don't end up over processing one tree!
Thank you so much for updating us. I have two fukien tea trees. One has the same or similar S shape to yours, and the other is upright but smaller. Both trees came with compost type soil and after watering them, their soils look very muddy. I have akadama based bonsai soil laying around. Should I repot both of them in the akadama soil? I also wanna get the basket plastic pot like yours. This is to try to develop the smaller upright tree. I hope it works. Great video and I subscribed!
Nice to see you and son on the bonsai journey. Tree looks good. Well done guys.
Thank you Russell!

How do you get new trees out of the cutting you saved? I’ve got the same tree it’s 10years old.
What do you have in your soil? What is it made of?
I'm kinda having the same problem this video is really helpful
Wholesome video🙏🏼😁
Wow
What do you do with the branches in the cup of water?
You can throw them into some soil to root. I just put 3 cuttings into soil a few months ago just to experiment and they all rooted.
Mine always ends up dead. I water it, fertilise it, talk to it, prune it, clean it, but unfortunately, they die.
Grow some more trees from the cuttings.
