Are you that dull to believe that batman would risk killing him? Even if he didn't have super speed, the most damage his batarang would cause is maybe a flesh wound.
Bruce knew he's fast... Bruce had two sources, one from Luthor (supermarket footage) and one from Amanda Waller (about how he knocked Captain Boomerang down). He just tried to shorten the conversation because Barry kept denying.

If you look closely Bruce was 90 percent sure he could teleport or something . So he threw the batarang just enough to miss him. Like so close that he had to use powers to react. Got to love Bruce.

I had not noticed that. Yeah, from the angle of the shot and throw, it would have whiffed about an inch left of his left ear if he didn't move. Good idea in case, for instance, he needs more prep time to activate his powers than a batarang at the face would give him. After all, in the convenience store footage, he looks at the robber for a good 2 or 3 seconds before he stops him. If he *needed* that long to charge up his powers, a batarang thrown right at his face would have hit him before he could "Wonder Twin Powers, Activate!" or "SHAZAM!" or "3X2(9YZ)4A" or whatever else he needed to do first.

You can see how relieved Batman was when Flash caught the dart because if Batman’s wrong then he could have killed the dude.
Nah. If you play that bit at 1/4 speed you can see it would have just missed Barry's left ear. To me, Bruce doesn't look _relieved,_ but more like he's thinking "My deductions were correct, but will he agree to join up?"
Actually, the dart would not have killed him. If you pause at 1:18, you can see that had Barry not moved away, the dart would have just whizzed past him, very close to his face.
Bruce could not risk killing or disfiguring Barry. He just wanted to catch him off guard so that he would reveal his powers.

What I like is that once Barry realizes who Bruce is, he looks at the spinning weapon, considering his next move. Does he grab it and reveal his powers? Or does he continue to deflect? Then he grabs it.
That's honestly almost scarier than Flash's physical speed. He can ramp up his perception and mental processing so quickly that he essentially pause the game *of life* and think about his next move at his leisure. Like the scene in Megamind where Metro Man steps out in the middle of Megamind ranting about the death ray he's about to fire, contemplates the direction of his life, goes to the library and reads every book on philosophy, life coaching, motivation, and self-help they have, decides to fake his own death, and comes back in so little time that Megamind has *no idea* Metro Man had moved at all. Only Flash is arguably *faster than that.*

@@HjMaswadyHjAmjah yeah about 10% of Snyder's footage is used which means there's still about 2 and half hours of footage left on the cutting room floor. Most of the movie that was released in cinemas was made up of reshoots by Joss Whedon.
You can see in this clip where Whedon takes over at 2:03 by the obvious changes in hair and tone.

nr99 Yes you can tell it was a reshoot of Whedon because Flash hair changes. Py attention it changed. Also Wayne had a reshoot too. Snyder shot Bruce has a longer white collar tip and on Whedon reshoot Bruce white collar is shorter, more rounded.
