I have a ledger, trezor, and a tangem. I use all three just to spread my crypto around so it's not all in one place. I'm thinking about trying out a few others.
@skwurst One wallet is for long-term holdings like blue chip type cryptos(Bitcoin, Ethereum etc) , another is for experimenting with more speculative cryptos(Meme's, games etc), and lastly a moon bag wallet, which contains a mix of different cryptos I think will do good in the bull run.
Which one would you recommend as of today for someone looking to purchase XRP and BTC today? I was about to get the nano x but the stax and tangem wallet also peak my interest as well as the Safe5. I'm almost 40 and day trade for a living primarily off cellular devices. I have a station as well. I'm looking to hold 90% of my crypto in cold storage versus playing with it. I'd love your recommendation from someone with experience in owning them all.

To be fair, with ledger backup you have to go through a KYC process, then you have to approve a function on the ledger that splits the key into 3 shards and sends it to different locations. We have to put trust in these companies just like we trust that when we approve sending X amount of any crypto that that's all that will be sent. So if ledger says there is no way that the backup could be done without approving the function on device I have to believe them.
