@@cyberscrillaGood on you for having the integrity to admit when you are wrong! Kind of off topic, but what do you think of Stop Murad? Worth listening to or is he going to make alot of people lose money?
I don't see a point in the Stax, the price is so much higher and what more are you getting...very little. I just bought a Nano S Plus and am waiting for delivery (2 week delay on shipping currently). Been using coinbase for years but I feel I have more crypto than is reasonable to keep in an exchange at this point.
I have a question that someone here can answer. If I have two different cold wallets with their own seed phrase and one of them was stolen or lost, can I transfer those cryptos into my remaining wallet with the seed phrase or do I need to get another wallet and transfer the cryptos into the new wallet. I wouldn't want to mess up the remaining wallet. Thanks
If you have two wallets, each one with its own seed phrase, and you lose one wallet, assuming you still have the seed phrase for that lost wallet you could import it into your remaining wallet. However, most cold wallets only allow you to manage one phrase at a time. So, you would have to factory reset the remaining wallet, import the phrase from the lost wallet, and then transfer that crypto to the other wallet address addresses. Or you could just keep the crypto on the seed phrase of the wallet you lost, but it wouldn’t be as easy because you always have to switch between seed phrases in your wallet. Moral being, the physical wallet device is simply a tool use to access and manage the keys to your crypto on the Blockchain So as long as you have your seed phrase you’ll have access to your crypto
When you imput your seed phrase into a new cold wallet device, what happens to the old device that originally had the seed phrase in it? Does it automatically get reset?
Nothing happens to it. You’ll have two devices with the same seed phrase. If you don’t want that, simply factory reset your old wallet. This will allow you to import an existing seed phrase or create a new one
I ALWAYS buy direct from the manufacturer. Plus you get the $10 of free BTC if you do. And yes it’s compatible with iOS and Mac. And yes it supports USDT TRC20
Can you please explain what you mean about the scam involving hooking a ledger wallet to a scam website. I am new and will have my ledger in a few weeks and I have heard of this but don't understand what it means really. Feel like if you made video about well known crypto scams it would do well and be extremely helpful to noobs like me. Thanks for the video.
Just Google for : crypto scam types. There is also NFT scam. Scammers would send you a NFT and ask you to visit their website for giveaway. Simply don't visit the website. Then you're safe. I recently had it. At first I was confused but this happens because your receiving address is publicly accessible. So the scammers would send you garbage and try to lure you to visit their website.
Thanks for all the helpful information. I have a question for you, can you run Ledger Live in both desktop or mobile mode with the same Flex wallet? Thanks again.
I think the reason the X has EAL5 was opposed to 6 os because the S+ came out after the Nano X. The first device was the Nano S on micro-USB and then the next model was the X. When Ledger decided to offer the Nano S+, it was after the Nano X had been out for a while. They then slowly killed the OG Nano S.
@cyberscrilla yeah I don't really know. Maybe it's cost or margins. I had the Nano S and THAT screen is fricken small. Lol and the storage sucked . It could only hold like 5 apps on it maximum.
I bought a NANO Wallet product in 2018 and used it about 5 times. After that, I put it in a case and kept it safe. When I tried to open it in 2024, the wallet stopped working and I couldn't find my assets. When I contacted customer service, they offered me a 30% discount on the new product. I can NOT trust the product anymore. If you don't want to lose an asset, don't keep it in a Nano Wallet. This product has too many problems..
@@mohammed-2885He's lying. All he needs to do is get a new wallet and he'll be able to access his crypto with his seed phrase. That's why they offered him a discount.
Your crypto isn’t stored in the wallet though. Wallets don’t hold crypto, they hold keys. So you could simply import your seed phrase to recover your funds. So not sure what you mean by this.
Thanks for doing this video, really helpful. I used your link to buy the flex but I don't see the $70 free bitcoin @ the checkout, should it say it in the checkout?

Quick question how long would the battery last until it’s fried /dead . I’m just not sure about switching over to a cold wallet with a battery.
Hi there,
there seems to be a limit to the number of accounts (3) you can have on the S Plus.
Do you have a link explaining this limitation?
Thanks.
What’s the price for the ledger satx I see 599 and 399 ?
599 is a bundle deal. The Stax is $399

To transfer from an old ledger nano s, to a ledger nano s plus. Do you just pit the seed phrase in the new nano s plus? Or another step?
Wouldn’t it be safer to just start a new wallet in the new ledger and just send from the old wallet… just in case the old wallet was compromised 🤷🏽♀️
You can if you believe your current seed phrase is safe.
Only if you have reason to believe your current seed is compromised

Does using your ledger as passkey increase the risk of your device being hacked ?
No
