You have an awesome tractor and blower setup. I enjoyed watching you clear the drive. I have a Kubota 2620 open station but a few years ago I fabricated a cab for it. Makes it a lot more comfortable blowing snow.
Just wanted to pass on that I received the Homestead Pinnacle Grapple and installed it today. Ordered it with flat face couplers just to try them out and am very impressed with the grapple and dealing with Homestead Implements, they are first class group. Also used your suggestion on floating into the limbs while clamping and worked like a charm. Thank You.
Hey thanks Richard, No, they are trespassing. But I can't do any more to try to stop them than I have. So I still try to be careful, knowing they will be trespassing., I guess it is, what it is. Cheers!
You are so correct with a south facing wall of windows in the winter. We have a log home here in Maine in the woods. When it came to figuring out where we wanted that wall of windows to face I took out my trusty compass to figure out where south was. you are also correct that when the sun is hitting those windows that space really does heat up to over 80 degrees F. We do have a high ceiling fan that we use all the time in the winter to drive down the heat and circulate it through the rest of the house. Great video and good luck replacing the glass.
That is a good thing to have the lights on. Like you said. You want to be safe, and seen by others. Also if you're near a roadside they'll be able to see you.
Yes indeed - I miss sledding. The garage? I would love to have it but my family needs are more than my need for a garage. But one day I hope. Cheers and all the best!
Great tractor and setup. No pain in the neck with the front blower. Just a word of caution, let the engine and especially the turbo cool down by letting it idle for a minute before shutting off the engine. The turbo is extremely hot doing hard work of blowing and scraping and so the small amount of engine oil in the turbo gets fried, and that’s what causes failure. Beautiful property and scenery.
Love the way this started today, it made me smile. First thing in the morning we always check the railing for snowfall and then glance up at the treetops for wind. Yes, we have a fancy weather station but those two indicators give me everything I need to know. 😎
Hi Gordo, from the land of Aus where it is high summer. Where I am today it is 40 deg celcius (104 F). Thank you for posting this video. Watching tractors clearing snow is relaxing and helps me to think it is a little cooler here than it really is. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
I've watched a ton of your videos and subscribed after watching your reviews on the LX2610, you've convinced me to go with Kubota and pick up the LX2620 ! Love the content. Cheers
Thanks for a great day in the forest Gord. Such a beautiful place you have in the woods. Hope the window install went well and the on-lookers cheered for you . Thanks also for sharing the picture of your Wife and children. They look like sisters, all four of them. Stay safe and keep up the great videos and the fun you have around there. Fred.
Trails open and groomed here in Upstate NY. Been quite a few years since we had a real winter. Moved snow for about 6 hours today clearing out around my solar panels.
Hey Gord thanks for another great video, it is just so enjoyable to sit on the tractor and clear snow and doing it at the cabin well that makes it even better. Until next one enjoy your day.
Thanks for the snow plowing video. I have an older bx 25 which I use for doing the driveway but much less efficient as I just use the bucket. Would love to see the window replacement on your tractor. Thanks for sharing your day!
Looked like a beautiful winter day GP. I can attest to the kubotas heater, geeze! I'd say those windows have pad for themselves several times by now! Wow! 91! Have a great week!
You’re killing me! LOL! First year with the exact same blower and no snow for weeks here in Wisconsin! They are calling it the “Wisconsin Snow Donut”! 🤷🏼🤣 I work outdoors for the last 35 years and I got to tell ya it makes things much easier with no snow on the ground but dang Nabbit I want to play! 🤠 Good luck with window. Looking forward to watching if you decide to video tape it. Take care!
How's she goin'? What a day for plowing eh. The only thing better than plowing snow on a day like this is plowing snow at night with the work lights shining on the beauty before us!!! LOL Glad you got your window fixed and you did a real nice job plowing your lane. Take 'er easy!!
Wow Brian - the winds today are out of control crazy! We have been getting Weather Warnings all day here. There are literally numerous little mini tornados on the lake in front of me. Stay safe my friend!
As usual, excellent video and explications as you go along. I have a Kubota B3350 with a cab and live in an area prone to a lot of snow. This past week and a half we received over 2 feet of snow with temps in the minus degrees at night. (Northern WV) Gord I was really hoping to watch the glass installation having a cab just like your the possibility of something happening is always present. But I don't want this to be negative because I know you try to do your best.... and so thanks again for your time....
Hey thanks Gary. I am filming the glass replacement. Hopefully, I will be done tomorrow and will release the video in a few days. Cheers - stay safe and warm out there!
I am so jealous! I am a couple hours north of you and we didn’t get any real accumulation of snow. Barely had any all winter this year. Would love a chance to spend some time using my snow pusher ☹
Nice job Gord, you have a lot more snow than we do.That is a beautiful family you have there Gord. But since we have three daughters also its not always easy. Just joking. Your Kubota does serve its purpose quite well. And I'm amazed how warm it gets in your cottage. Take care young man. Enjoy the winter.
LOL. Oh yes, daughters. No better way to soften a stubborn, principled, stringent guy than to make him raise 3 daughters. LOL. All for the better though for sure. I am, very thankful. A little softer and more understanding than I was when I was young. :)) Cheers!
Another great video GP! Thanks for taking us on your adventure. The snow in Utah has been dismal this year, so I haven't had many opportunities to run the LX3310. Excited to get it back from the dealer this week as I had the rear valves installed. I'm looking forward to being able to angle my rear blade from the cab.
Hi GP, nice to see you are having a therapy session once again. The Orange kind. We are currently having some 35 to 40 c days with very strong winds and heavy rain every few days. Love your winter shows.🇦🇺🍺
Morning! I thought about it a few times as well as possibly studs but I don't really need them - plus there is not alot of clearance when you turn the wheels sharply so I would need to get low profile chains. Thanks for watching this morning!
GP, got to say we have had two snow days in 2 weeks apart the first day 3 inches a week or so day 2 of snow 2 inches. And down middle south Georgia.can’t believe it, as you may recall I don’t like cold weather haha and I’m too old to move to Florida. So on that note I’m gonna. Have a day.
Good morning Gord. Your setup was the inspiration for me to duplicate it for my snow removal and after several years I couldn’t be happier. Thanks. A couple of quick questions, how often do you grease the blower and do you use bar oil on the chain? Have a great day in our 51st state.
Morning and happy to hear you are all setup. I use chain oil on the chain, and the sprocket that drives the chute. I lube the rest usually every 6 or 7 times I run the blower. have a good one!
Good morning - the driveway winds (turns) throughout the forest and the wind changes direction, so i turn it when I see the wind is hitting me from a different direction, and blowing snow back at me. Cheers!
It sure looks like a beautiful day in the forest Gord. Did you adjust the shoes on the bottom of your snowblower to cut closer to driveway surface yet this winter? Cheers.
So when you were blading and had the blower up a touch, do you notice that the tractor is bouncy at all? In other words, do you ever feel like you need a little more weight on the back? Those are some pretty views and you have a lovely family to enjoy life with! Cheers from central USA.
Don't run the heater until the tractor is warm; diesels will heat up much more quickly. Then, you'll have heat when you run the fan (had diesels 2006-2024).
Just wondering how you haul your fuel? Big tank and have it delivered? Bunch of 5 gallon fuel jugs? How far do you go to get it? Thanks. Wish we had more snow in Ohio where I live. I did put a pipe on my front plow after 4 years of digging gravel with it. Amazing how much better it works on gravel. Does not dig into the hard packed snow like before. I can live with that.
😜✌️ Even though I don't have my own homestead yet , I've learned so much from you Brother that God willing the day I do I will be much better prepared 💒🇨🇦⚔️ God Bless us All 🇺🇸🙏✝️
I do for sure James. So the tracks end at the gate, and then turn around and go back. :)) But when we are here I keep the gates open ( in case we need 911). Cheers!
@@GPOutdoors there is a device called a knox box where you can leave a key or opener for emergency crews to get through the gate, you could try to call and see if they utilize that or a similar system in you area. that way you can leave the gate close that is out by the road.
You have an awesome tractor and blower setup. I enjoyed watching you clear the drive.
I have a Kubota 2620 open station but a few years ago I fabricated a cab for it. Makes it a lot more comfortable blowing snow.
I just finished my snow. I enjoy both watching and doing.
Gorgeous day to be out with Ma Nature. Stuck in Thunder Bay , they got 10" today. Love the fresh snow. Cheers Gord, all the best. 🍻🪵🚜❄️🔥
Keep warm Mark!
Love to see your setup and scenery. It seems nearly impossible to me that your house is 91 without the furnace! Obiously I need better insulation.

Awesome video
Love snow blowing, snow pushing, snow plowing videos! Next time you should do a live stream while your moving snow. Cheers! Jason
Good stuff
Thanks for bringing us along on this most beautiful morning.
I'm curious, what is the average annual snowfall at the cabin?
GP always been amazed at what a compact tractor is capable of. Great winter wonderland video. Be safe.
Another great video Gord! Thanks and stay safe out there.
Cheers Tim!
That was an awesome video. I always like watching that snow coming out the snowblower. Beautiful view in the forest 🌲
Great video. The camera work today was exceptional . Educate me. Why are snowmobilers on your drive? Are you on an open range area?
Hey thanks Richard, No, they are trespassing. But I can't do any more to try to stop them than I have. So I still try to be careful, knowing they will be trespassing., I guess it is, what it is. Cheers!
Great job gpoutdoors !!!!!!!!!!
I'm always jealous off the spot ya got there. a little slice of heaven.
That is awesome Gord, that back blade coupled with the blower works awesome. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Gord, with this snowfall are you missing your snowmobile at all? Any status update on if you will end up building a shed/garage?

Morning BLT. Great question - no not noticeably. The rears are filled so perhaps that helps. Have a good one!
Did you use foir wheel drive for this video? I kinda regret not getting a cab tractor, it gets chilly plowing when its 15F out

Good Morning Gord,
Did you put in the heater block for your engine or did it come with it?
I had them install it when I bought it. Cheers!
