A few months ago, took my 18-year-old son to watch a screening of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars at our local theater. He has become something of a Bowie fan ever since. I am a happy daddy.

Bowie was a genius. Mick, so under rated, the perfect partner to wrap those fantastic arrangements to bowie's master visions. So sad their both gone now. It would have been nice had they collaborated more , but such is life. Ronson's solo career fizzled but we were lucky that he partnered with Ian Hunter, further cementing his legacy as one of the best right hand men and arrangers of all time. These were wild times, and they were innovators doing things no one else had done quite the same way .
