A little while back, a big storm broke a large limb off of a massive pine tree which fell a good ways and put a sizable crack in my roof. At the time, I didn’t have the money to pay to have it fixed, so I sealed it up with *rubberized spray* and hoped that it would last at least a few months, until I had the funds to get it repaired properly. That was two and a half years ago. Last night, my “temporary solution” finally failed, and I developed a leak in my roof that, fortunately, I notice before it destroyed my PlayStation 5. What does all of this have to do with anything? Well, I decided to patch it myself, since I figured that it would be measurably more affordable than paying someone else, and over the past few years, I’ve gotten pretty good at home repairs, thanks in no small part to helpful TH-cam guides. So after getting home with all of the materials that I needed, I set to work, and decided that I’d catch up on the podcast while I was at it. This episode was almost the exact length of time that I needed to make the repairs. As I sit now in the dark and the cold, with a large work light and my cat, who decided to keep me company up here as I worked (or she was already hanging out up here and I invaded her space, who can say), I thought I’d take a moment to thank you fellas for the entertainment. It helped the process go by quickly 😌
1:16:00 I also want to point out that what happened to Steve was an absolute freak accident, it's incredibly rare to even be barbed by a stingray, let alone die from it. It managed to get him right in the heart, which is why it was so disastrous.
You know, i'm 63 and its scary that i remember standing in line as a teenager to get in to see the first star wars movie when it came out! We watched the movie theatre section for weeks waiting to see when and what time it would show! 😂😂😂
My mom went to Star Wars Opening night. She was a MASSIVE OT and Prequels fan. My greatest memory with her is taking her to Force Awakens Midnight showing. Yeah it wasn't the greatest but that experience was unforgettable.
18:56 "Small groups of people killing for kicks is something that has actually happened" 19:12 "Nobody kills 239 people and themselves to get off" Except that exact thing has already happened multiple times (the killing lot's of people and themselves part, not the doing it to get off part) There has been at least three separate occasions where airline pilots deliberately crashed their own plane in order to kill themselves and everyone else on board, EgyptAir Flight 990, Germanwings Flight 9525 and SilkAir Flight 185
They found something comparable to a miniature Stonehenges in Lake Michigan and Lake Huron recently too. Lake Michigan's was dated up to 10,000 years old. Those hunter gatherers knew how to accomplish some major stuff
Steve Irwin is an International TREASURE!!!!! One day he'll b known as St Irwin. Not really but he should. The man was as close to a Saint as anyone from our recent history can be.
The way that Ashton was constantly adding "Why would someone take the effort to fake this" in order to justify that it wasn't fake, really put me off. It also didn't really help his case when he started talking about the gattalinium-hergblum-stressmessers(the warp orbs, can't remember what he really said) and how it all hinged on how this one guy said that it was theoretically possible and how someone on reddit/twitter verified they couldn't visually create the clips in 2014. Also the videogame thermal overlay and the warp effect were interesting choices by whoever made the videos. Would it not have been easier to use a white/black hot color scheme for the thermals? The whole thing was just weird, but I am really glad that you guys put such a great effort into the two parts you did on MH370 and I can't wait to see more in the future.
about the archeology thing, i think it's important archeologists use their imagination only when great evidence is presented. they're scientists and i think accuracy is integral there. as for "not worth looking into" thing, completely agree with you.
Also, there are a couple of things to take into account when it comes to archaeology. The first covers academia in general, in that the whole 'not worth looking into thing' is that it requires funding by outside sources by way of grants. Due to this, there needs to be a pretty good chance of there being artifacts in the area. Surveys take place before a dig and are essentially scouting missions. If the survey doesn't come back positive, then they will move on to another potential site. The second thing, which most people don't realize, is regarding the term 'archaeologist' itself. Archaeology isn't a discipline in its own right, it is an umbrella term that covers multiple disciplines. It's why there are teams of 'archaeologists' at a dig site, because they each have their own expertise. You may have one who is an expert on animal bones (zoologist or palaeontologist), an expert on lithics (geologist), an expert on the soil (geologist discipline known as micro-morphology) which is extremely important at any given site. Then you back at the lab, you have experts in dating (there are many different dating types), as well as geneticists. Depending on the site, there may need to be plant matter, including seeds or pollen to be identified, which needs a botanist. All of these experts work under the umbrella of archaeology.
I heard somewhere, don’t remember where, that Garret DID call out for his dad but no one realized it was him until later even though they DID hear him…. ⭐️ ALL ALLEGEDLY ⭐️ NOT CONFIRMED ⭐️ If you have any information on weather or not this is true, please let me know Fun fact : the sand man that jumped on the bantha in the first ever made Star Wars movie is my late uncle
46:37 What if his dad said "wrong way" to the RIGHT way & Garrett started the right way but then changed to the wrong way according to the accidental wrong direction of his father? That's why the camp never saw him. Either this or he misunderstood what his dad meant.
Dude I’m a huge prequels fan too!!! My favs are Captain Rex, Ahsoka and ObiWan, also definitely Anakin. Loved and agree with the sequels rant. Also I am a guy and the tire repair went well 😂 I’ll send the email soon! Great video as always
I like David he is a good person and a great patriot BUT on purpose or not be omits facts - the worse one was the Dennis Martin case. He failed to mention - according to Dwight Carter the search and rescue legend, he was there and The key family witnessed a homeless looking guy with long hair taking Dennis to a van and running off. They did not see a bigfoot - The search was so screwed up by so many people trampling over prints and scent tracks - to this DAY we have a search and rescue protocol based off how bad that search and rescue was messed up. - special forces was there that day but they were training in the area and wanted to help and they did communicate with the searcher but couldn’t conventionally because their radios worked in a different frequency And this is just to name a few problems that Paulides fails to mention, instead the way he says it it was bigfoot
Although the testimony on Bobby’s disappearance was from the staff at a Catholic camp, I know from experience that Catholic camps are not staffed by priests and seminarians. At best they may have a priest as a chaplain. The counselor are typically high school and college kids, like at most other camps. The counselors may be leaving out facts to avoid getting into trouble for failing to keep an adequate eye on the kids, but it’s really far-fetched to think they’re covering up abuse. On the whole I agree about Paulides’ work though. I think he overestimates how effective search teams and tracking dogs are, overestimates how bloody and obvious predator attacks are, and underestimates the likelihood that perfectly mundane dangers can teke somebody’s life. Having said that though, I do think there’s a remainder of cases where something really odd is going on.
I totally agree with the David Paulides issue. He seems to be onto something, but in his haste he's accumulated a lot of cases (and claims) that don't stand up to scrutiny. That's not surprising given how much information he's gathered, and that he's mostly working on his own. He should have found assistance and gone through the cases one by one to remove any that couldn't hold up before publishing, but he either wasn't able to or too panicked to do so.
I've seen enough cases that Paulides presents, debunked, deconstructed, that pretty much points to one thing, he is onto a grift that works with people that really want to believe there is something 'strange' going on, but there isn't nothing strange evident. I find his so-caled life's work, so disrespectful to the missing and the victims, and the families thereof.
I have two issues with David Paulides. The first being is that he is an ex-cop. As a cop, you don't always put out all the details in an investigation; this is done with a purpose. The purpose is that the suspect is the only one who knows the missing details, and they can use that information during the investigation. An easy way to explain this is by using a victim who was shot and killed. They didn't state the way the person died. They interview someone, and they state that they found the dead body, and the person that they are interviewing states something like, "Do you know who shot him"? Withholding info years on end becomes a habit, and I think he still does this tactic in his stories. The second issue that I have is that if you watch his videos, he "leads" the questions. For example, he may say something like, "He was wearing a blue shirt," instead of asking, "What color of shirt was he wearing?"
Depending on the venom, poison, or toxin used, then the smell of the body, including fecal matter/intestines, the coloring of the skin, dilation or glaze of the eyes, blood report for those that don't break down fast and actually leave a trace, and how rigid the body is vs. necrotic. However, all of that depends on how fast you find the body, and whether the coroner thinks to check for those, which they won't unless foul play is a major possibility. The coroner also needs knowledge of what to look for.
What do you think about Brian Schaffer (?) case. He was last seen at a bar in Ohio I think the name of the bar was called the ugly tuna saloona. he was engaged to be married. His mother passed away six months prior. He was partying with two of his friends before going on a trip the next day to Miami, Florida with his fiancé he was last seen on video surveillance talking to two women. The bar itself was only second level and it was only one way in one way out and that was via an escalator. His body has been found, and there has been no trace of him so either his body is somewhere inside the bar he found another way out or someone Took him out by another means that did not show him leaving on the video security camera. I know that there were some theories that it could be the workings of the :-) killer if that’s even a thing? But it did happen back in April 2006 and it is near a body of water.
@@tierneylogan5943 I have wrecked my brain trying to figure out what could have happened to him. It’s one of those cases that has stuck with me. I thought maybe he could have left out of the bar through an emergency exit or back stair well but I had read somewhere that the only other entrance besides the front escalators was an employee exit but it was closed off due to maintenance of some kind however that doesn’t mean it couldn’t have been used to take him out or he could have tried to leave the back way to avoid someone or a group of people and possibly fell due to the construction work and his body make be a wall of some kind or inside of some structure. I wish someone would look at the buildings blueprints and investigate.
@thelorelodge … not sure if you looked into this case , the Brian Schaffer case, but I’d also like to mention that Brian was a med student, ready to graduate just a couple months before his disappearance, he was last seen at a bar, he was drunk, he was separated from his friends, the bar was not far from a river, and security cameras at the bar showed him talking to 2 girls before he disappeared, there was also a smiley face in the vicinity of where he was last seen but that could be just a coincidence. Not only did his mother die just a few weeks before he went missing but his father died a couple years later never knowing what happened to him. He has one surviving sibling, a brother, whom needs answers to his brother’s disappearance. Would you be interested in doing an episode on him to spark some life into this unsolved mystery and possibly a viewer may have some information or jar a memory that may help locate Brian?
Tarteria, y'all thinking too small. Occam's Guillotine, perhaps. I grew up hunting and camping in actual wilderness. Whilst there are a few crazy occurrences, nature is a harsh mistress.
Im so glad that Lacrossie Universe lore have spread so much, idk if it is coming from Donut Operator but my god that lore have grown so much since late 2010s to early 2020s
MH370: Have you guys read/heard/seen the HAMM Radio operators' who tracked the plane via the frequency disruptions? It is VERY compelling and solidly credible. (TLDR: No conspiratorial, paranormal, supernatural, or preternatural circumstances. It went down in the south Indian Ocean).
Lucas' sequel trilogy had Luke written to be the same wars TLJ had him written. in fact, even moreso. lucas described his sequel Luke as a "'colonel Kurtz type character." I personally trust Lucas' vision of the character FARRRRR more than mark. I do think his Luke would have had some key differences though. looking at the little we have, it seems that 7 would have ended in the destruction of luke's order, and 8 would have been actually pretty similar for lukes story. he would have fucked up, lost leia and Han's son to the dark side, and exiled himself out of shame and out of a feeling that the galaxy is better off without a fairy-tale hero who can't live up to the fairy-tale. the key difference there is that he wouldn't have spent years and years in exile. probably just a few weeks/months. he also was going to die in 8 as well, but there i another draft that said he died in 9, so there's some dispute there as to which was the more finalized version. Also, filoni worked with Rian Johnson to develop Luke's character in TLJ. one of the few things he had input on with the sequels.
To the star wars conversation: Jaina Solo was one of the best characters ever. Also Corran Horn. Neither of them exist anymore because of the House of Mouse. Eff Disney. RIP Star Wars.
In reference to the Malaysia flight it wasn't electrical or aliens transponders have a rotary switch to turn off there's 2 -3 modes between off and fully on there's ground data of these intermediate modes being selected as a person turns the the switch to off think if it was electrical these middle modes wouldn't have shown up ie. On to off versus on alt stby off
I think they burned up in flight they passed out due to smoke from the battery fire plane hits water at full speed . My thoughts are based on from studying other plane crashes .if she broke up in flight some radar may have pick up the chaff from break up but either one if very plausible for MH370
Look cowboys are in Texas no state is more into football than Texas we go crazy not me personally but like my cousins family moved to Austin just so he could be on the top high school football team.
10:00 ah yes, the US and China being in on a joint cover-up. Truly an Occams razor moment. I recommend Green Dot Aviation's channel. He explained MH370 perfectly.
They were technically correct in saying that the US and China collaborating to cover something up is infinitely more likely than the plane being swallowed by wormholes. They just missed that this being an act by a single person and there being no cover up by anyone is infinitely more likely than that.
When a Swiss archeological team carbon dated the passage stone in newgrange, they found the date to be closer to sixteen thousand years old. Here's a mother for you. Ireland has the oldest ruins on the planet, in fact the ruins get older the further west you travel.
You can't carbon date stone. It's not organic and carbon dating is useless past about 4k years since iir the carbon is no longer present after that long.
@@Victor-bl2ge carbon dated the soil under the passage tomb. The Swiss sample was soil between 2 passage stones, the Irish sample was from the soil under the stone.
Not to mention the waters of the indian ocean and south china seas, wherever it went down, are not calm waters. They do tend to be used by the American, Tawainese, Chinese, and probably others that idk about, navies though. Every one of them not knowing anything and not having any subs in the area on test runs seems unlikely. But the lithium ion battery thing is always gonna be a tough sale for me. Of the documented fires not a single plane just vanished, let alone crashed in ways as violently as MH 370 would've needed too. And it's not an uncommon way to transport lithium ion batteries either, so it's not like it's small sample size of anything more than proven fires on planes. It is one of two theories I will remain stubborn in regards to its possibility though. That said, with even China locking down Ughyer Islamists, seeing 60 lives stolen and over 200 injured in china in early 2014 due to claimed attacks on civilians, I'm not capable of thinking the two Iranians on stolen passports not being involved. Islamists tend (per Interpol's website stats) to only claim fourty percent of attacks on civilians, islamist attacks were prevalent in 2014 against chinese citizens, and the mom of the 18 year old maintained with admamance that the two were brothers until it was proven that no, he was just friends for years with this dude that was over a decade older than him. It's not necessarily "oh, guys just wanted that European..... 'freedom'". Even though weve seen London, Dublin, Berlin, and more with the "assylum seekers" these guys, at best, were.
Sources on the Lithium Ion fires is cbs news and Lithium ion fires raising 41% over 5 years Googling deadly plane crashes from lithium ion batteries brought up a 2010 passenger plane going down, a boeing 747 in 2010 as well (that looked insanely violent as it had 81,000 lithium batteries on fire, but didnt shred the plane as MH 370 is theorized to have been), and others per, an admittedly potentially biased "litium safe" website. Tho AP and CBS also has stories on them too. They are dangerous, and probably would be more dangerous over open ocean, but it seems more unlikely the plane wouldnt be found without a force thats a bit more explosive instead of just combustible
What is David Paulides's "endgame" if not truth? He doesn't seem to be hunting for fame & fortune. The guy has taken the time to do the research assumably at the urging of people in the field of search & rescue. He has a broad list of items that fit his "narrative" and its not like he's requiring hits on all 100% of these details. Plus had he not done the initial research to begin with you wouldn't be spending so many TH-cam videos trying to poke holes in them in the first place. Also, its not like he's saying all these cases MUST be the same situation throughout, all he's saying is maybe these should be investigated further, and let's be honest, would all these cases have been investigated by so many amateur detectives at this point had he not started this whole thing to begin with?

The channel "Green Dot Aviation" video on MH370 is pretty compelling. Released three days ago.
Agreed, a really well done video.
Usually only listen but when you brought up losing weight I took a peek, looking good, congratulations on the progress and keep up the great content
I feel like it's entirely a Donut Operator inside joke.
And it is a funny joke.

Anyone knows where I can find the debunk to the MH370 that they mentioned having the satellite picture with matching clouds?
Towards the end of our second MH370 video

To the star wars conversation:
Jaina Solo was one of the best characters ever. Also Corran Horn.
Neither of them exist anymore because of the House of Mouse.
Eff Disney.
RIP Star Wars.
They've also ruined Thrawn and made him a joke.
Ganner Rhysode was a minor character in the EU; and he has one of the most bad ass scenes in Star Wars. Something Disney isn't possible of doing.

On to off versus on alt stby off
I think Malaysia air was an mk ultra op, operation blue beam. Oh look over here aliens while you miss what's really happening
Occam's electric razor?
How ‘bout them Cowboys!
I want what he’s having.

You might be drinking too much
Not to mention the waters of the indian ocean and south china seas, wherever it went down, are not calm waters.
Sources on the Lithium Ion fires is cbs news and Lithium ion fires raising 41% over 5 years
Googling deadly plane crashes from lithium ion batteries brought up a 2010 passenger plane going down, a boeing 747 in 2010 as well (that looked insanely violent as it had 81,000 lithium batteries on fire, but didnt shred the plane as MH 370 is theorized to have been), and others per, an admittedly potentially biased "litium safe" website. Tho AP and CBS also has stories on them too.
They are dangerous, and probably would be more dangerous over open ocean, but it seems more unlikely the plane wouldnt be found without a force thats a bit more explosive instead of just combustible
Go Birds!
