This trip shows why we have to do these kinds of things while we're young and not wait for "someday". The sense of adventure and the excitement it brings gives one the butterflies in the stomach that makes life's greatest memories. That's why I've always said, do it now and don't wait til you're too old to feel the buzz of a trip like this. So, at 67, I'm doing it now and have been doing it for many years before I get old 😉
I used to ride my '79 XL from Diego to L.A. in July and always had room on the bars for leathers.(extra spark plugs in the pocket) I see that l.e.d. tail light on your left side but in the rain with bad wipers. It's a chopper and the head light was doin it's job but you gotta let em know your there bro. Loved the 70's film snapshots and the music..and the shout out to the good angels. They're there and they'll answer even if we only call em when we need em. It snowed here in Montana but I will fire the shovel and get a Halloween ride in because of this video.
You guys make every road trip to anywhere an ADVENTURE! Good people, good amount of patience, good amount of tools good amount of know how. However, it makes me for sure want cast aluminium rims and tubeless tires that you can plug, without worrying about pinching tubes. You taught me a good lesson!!!! A great reminder, we work so we can go afford to play!
I'm a new subscriber to the channel. But I've watched a few of your videos, always great stuff. I like the fact yall ride older type stuff like we rode back in the day. I'm on a 2008 American Iron Horse chopper now with 127cid & 6spd... Its a screaming sob for sure.. I just always loved the choppers. That's one reason I like this channel, plus you got a good crew you ride with. Everyone seems cool and laid back always having a good time. Thanks again for another great video guys .
Thumbs up fellas! Unlike polished and slick productions you captured what it is like going back to real road trips of the day. Congratulations for living in the spirit of the ride. Amen to your angels bro. 😎
I was at Yosemite park once, I delivered shelf's for the grocery store at Yosemite village, back then they were remodeling the grocery store there, it was very neat looking up at el caption peak. Very cool video thanks for sharing and safe travels to everyone.
I discovered your channel after binge watching LNSPLT’s road trips, and you channel scratches my itch for friscos. The last trip was really serene and it didn’t feel like a gaudy attempt to become aesthetic. I still need to know tho what film you used to shoot your solo portraits with the half dome as the back ground Oh damn lane splits in this video that was unexpected
Sportsters are the best motor HD ever built....especially the EVO Sporties! Easy to build, easy to work on and a blast to ride! And yes, even those IRONHEADS are reliable when built correctly!
Toujours de belles images qui font rêver…motos, copains et pleins de souvenirs!!bon ou mauvais surtout à la fin, heureusement tout le monde est rentré!!merci et à bientot✌️
Was the worst ride home, but that ol' ironhead got you there and back!!!! They are a raucuos, noisy, old motor, but somehow, someway thet get you back home! She is a keeper!
That ending sequence over the bridge (Bay Bridge?) in the dark, cold, pouring rain was so gnarley man. You truly have to love riding to endure nights home like that. ✊🏽
Oh man that was pretty rough, one of the roughest rides home ive ever had i think but you know ill tell that story to my kids! haha Thanks for the support!
This video has such a good vibe , and its noticed that was not made under pressure this relates to 947 works bikes they have a kind of expression on their selfs... Greetings from Portugal , love your videos I wish one day to visit you guys
Nice ride and footage. I rode my sportster from WA to Yosemite to Death Valley and met some friends in Las Vegas before heading home through Nevada. After riding solo to Vegas, it was strange walking through the casino watching people bet money on plastic horse racing. It was mid March so I rode through heavy rains on the way south and ran out of gas in Nevada during a snow storm. Good times!
I always enjoy your videos man. About 15 years ago when I was crossing the Dunbarton bridge to the peninsula side, some dude in a car started merging into my lane and my foot got caught underneath the side panel of his car. We were just staring at each other him with a look of fear. He quickly jerked it back into his lane and basically pulled me with him into his lane. I think that may have been the scariest moment on a bike in my life. And by the way, I think the music is great.
Keeping it real. Built 2st iron head, 1st bagger 67 pan shvl , on my 2nd Roadking 103 no more nitemares rides living the dream on open rode sharring the stories along the way, no cell phones back in the day had to pray the road will provide. Ridn over 300k only sent one home on a trailer think I pd 800 900 hundred 1st basket case I built. God Speed
OMG was that like the rain in August? We were caught in that up near Lassen, we went across Sonora pass a couple of days after y'all. Awesome video, and so cool to see the chopper tradition is alive and well up in the city :)
Another great video, though i must say yama you didn't quit seem yourself,my guess is blue wasn't by your side? I did miss blue myself while watching. Another great watch though.Thannkyou 👌
Dude, that is an awesome ride and video! Music is spot on as usual! I lived in Merced back in the 90s while stationed at Castle and loved going to Yosemite. Love the bikes, wish I ad the time to build and ride a bike like that, that’s freedom! Gotta stay on my Triumph Scrambler and Indian Springfield to avoid those breakdowns. Keep riding’!!
I've been riding all my life and have never been on a road trip. I've always been willing , just never knew anyone interested in doing one. It wouldn't be the same going solo ....
Great video man, really enjoyed this video. The photos chucked in were awesome, loved at the end seeing them all. You were definitely watched over on the last part of the trip. Ride safe 🤙 ✌️
