“…but I don’t have a mill - I just have this little garage and the tools that I’ve got.” The humility and grace with which you carry yourself, is contagious. And what you have done with that - reaching the highest peak of custom bike-building, is very admirable. From down on the coast ~ Ride Forever! 🦅
Thank you. I’m just doing as much as I can with what I’ve got. I’m not gonna lie though, I do really need a mill. Might have to put it in the back yard 🤷🏼♂️😂
I’ve had bikes, been around them, but have always wanted to build my own someday. I like how you explain what you’re doing. Really admire the end products you’ve built and can’t wait to keep learning from you. Giving me hope I can build one myself one day.
Was awesome seeing some of the more intricate steps to building a bike. Really liked the process of simply putting the front end on the frame with the ball bearings. Did you end up showing her at Born Free?
Hi, halfway into the episode I change out the frame and engine, but the first one is an original 1940early 1941 Harley flathead/knucklhead frame. The frame I switch to is an aftermarket 1940 Harley flathead/knucklehead frame. I wanted to keep the oem frame with the 41 knuckle, and I was planning to cut some things off and modify the frame for the bike I was building, so the aftermarket frame was a better call for it.

Hello, thank you. Yes, I built the bike as an invited builder for born free. So it had to be there. It has been a fun one.
Great vid mate
Great video! Well produced! I dig your shop too. What editing program do you use?
I’m not sure what program Dylan uses, but possibly after effects. Dylan, chime in….
Adobe for editing (pp) camera is a7siii with sigma 24-70! -Dylan
1940 U models with 11 fin cylinders are 74 cu. in. Unless you bored out the 74 inch cylinders to 80 inch?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Ryan! What frame are you using here?
