South West England and the sun is shining! Happier people, women with less clothes on... Roll on the summer! Look forward to seeing this finished, as well as many other kits you have on the go! :)
got up to 60 today, sunny as well. didnt get to enjoy any of it since i work inside. on a side note this is the only channel that i really write comments on.
loving the over fenders. the weathers been quite nice here in the UK for a couple of weeks, but it's supposed to be getting wet and cold for the next few days, something to look forward to, lol.
x1r that's a new one to me...very cool thanks for sharing Weather here in southern Ontario Canada..is awful ! worst, coldest, longest winter I can remember...lol...ugh Roads are destroyed from constant snowplowing and salt..can't wait for warm weather...I wish I could hibernate a while and wake up when it's over... :)
It was a tad bit cloudy today. Going to be like this all the way till Saturday. Going to have a Celica Supra BBQ and Tune up day that day here at my home as well. Just hoping for no rain. And as always good work.
That model is quite nice to be honest. And for ¥700 you can't really complain, but the body is nicely molded. I've seen some expensive kits which were awful. And yeah..... about the weather, nice and sunny here in Holland. Finally!!
I hope it really works out for you. And the weather here was really hot and sunny in the morning, a little rainy in the afternoon and now it is cool at night.
wow..i was never aware a nissan like that existed! and i own a 240Z! thanks! and that drink seems like it taste good! and change is not always bad Mr.Wasabi!
For the price, thats a good buy! I have been building model cars for over 20 years and have seen a lot. Living in America, getting import kits can be hard, but doable. I I do have a kit by that company and I think it's a Triumph TR7 if I remember right, or it's a first gen Celica. Either way, that is pretty cool. Also, cars with no engine detail, but with interior detail most model guys refer to them as "Curbside". Fujimi, Hasgawa, Aoshima and Tamiya are well known for curbside kits. However, Tamiya and Fujimi do have with engines, but this looks to be a kit from the late 70's/early 80's. Anyway, hope to see it built! I looked on Ebay for that kit. $50-58 USD... You got a great deal!
I love it. You should post more 1:24 model cars if you have any. I love building these cool Japanese model car kits but they are hard to come across here where I live in Ontario.
I hope you do more of these "Unboxing" videos. It's cool to see what kind of models you're into. I've gotten most of my Japanese car models from a shop in Tokyo called Hobby Search. I live about an hour north of San Francisco, Ca. and the weather here has been really nice. Gonna be 75 F, but we're in a severe drought, so some rain would be REALLY nice!
+1 on loving the X-1R! Nice kit you bought there! Back in the early 80s my stepfather owned a red Datsun Cherry E10 2 door sedan and I really have fond memories of that little car. It actually featured those one piece bucket-like seats. When I for the first time saw photos of the X-1R six to seven years ago I really wanted to own one someday. The coupe has been sold here in Europe as well (very rare) so perhaps one day I'll own one and convert it to a X-1R! Weather today? Started out sunny, then rainy on my way back from my son's school (biking) and now it is sunny again. Temperature is about 10 degrees but near the weekend it will be 16 or 17 degrees.
Hi Dan, I've enjoyed building a few of these mainly Nissan, 610, 710, c130, c110, I find spraying with a can of car paint from a motor shop leaves a great finish! its interesting that your a teacher (in languages? ) I have a good friend that lived in Japan for about 5 years and married a japanese girl, but they have come back to Guernsey U.K to live, Oh it was a little cloudy with rain at the end of the day
I didn't know there was a Cherry with this body.(my knowledge of Japanese cars is very limited, of course) The Nissan/Datsun sold as Cherry came to Finland in '78, with a size bigger body. It rained today.
Just about finished my Delica model bought a Skyline model and I will be a replica of the Rocky auto one behind you LOL , I will put some picture's up later . Very windy and a bit chilly .
sunny day almost all day here in good ol germany. the model kit is just great!!! I would cut out the dash and just custom fab some seats, maybe spare ones from another build?
Wow, that Cherry with the louvers looks sexy. Hope you have a smooth moving process! It's windy and chilly here in the U.K, around 7 degrees centigrade.
Just had another thought Daniel, I would love a let's build type thing, and I reckon a lot of other people would too. It could be really interesting, anyway just a though!
+WasabiCars Oh no, nothing like that, just record yourself building it. Sorry for my dodgy explanation. I just thought it would be cool to see you build :)
Such a unique car. Oh and change in life is normally good, I bet it will be a great thing! What is that "like" button again", I will have to start using that thing. ;)
I hear you sad, i know, leaving is painful, but you can make good friends somewhere else, you just need to be nice, and you have plenty of happiness, so no problem with that ;) The weather? It was sunny as hell! We don't have extreme weather in my city, even if it's summer or winter, but summer is very humid. Did you get that kit on eBay? I realized that it's the best method to get something you desire. I finally got an OEM radio for my taunus, and also one for my 71' beetle, headlights, etc. i bought a taunus badge and some reverse lights for the ford too! It's awesome! :)
I got this kit from a local toy-recycle shop. Usually they sell stock that toy shops couldn't sell or that people trade in. But, eBay is a great place to find things.
Hi Daniel, Today has been very hot and sunny, last few days have been around the 27-29 degree celcius mark. I agree with you on the Nostalgic Heroes cars, not a lot of detail inside but very nicely done body and accessories, I have most of this series in my collection, follow this link and share it if you wish. s67.photobucket.com/user/ModelMadness/library/?sort=6&start=all&page=1 Keep those great videos coming, catch up again soon, Ken.
Thanks for the link Ken. NIce work there. I have a little bit of trouble when I visit photobucket though. Lot's of pop-up ads, etc.. :( Of course, I love your work though.
When are you doing a video of your own car ? I want to see your rust bucket hahaha. The weather in Scotland is not too bad i suppose, the sun is out but windy as windy can get hahaha
Yeah, vintage kits can really be a lottery. Personally, I value body proportions over engine/chassis/interior detail. But then again, finishing the body is the aspect I'm least skilled at
Very nice! These kits looks very nice, although I am more into 1/18 model-cars, since I just don't feel like I have the time to built kits like these, though I'm sure it's very cool! :) And the weather today here in Denmark was pretty bad. Grey, rainy and windy, with temperature around 7-10 degrees Celsius.
Its a beautiful day outside here, Sunny & very warm!
South West England and the sun is shining! Happier people, women with less clothes on... Roll on the summer! Look forward to seeing this finished, as well as many other kits you have on the go! :)
Lol. I now have a ton of new kits. The wardrobe is choc-o-block full.
Very nice body style of that kit. I like it very much. And the answer for your question is: Very nice and clear night sky in Puerto Rico. X^}
Awesome.
First day of spring here and it was a nice sunny day chilly wind and abit cover in the sky,
The weather here in Aus is still pretty perfect and sunny! Starting to get cool at night though.
It was beautiful today in Fairfax Ca. Great day for painting cars!
;-)
got up to 60 today, sunny as well. didnt get to enjoy any of it since i work inside.
on a side note this is the only channel that i really write comments on.
Cool, thanks. I'm glad you do. :D
Very nice weather in Sydney ATM about 28 to 30 degrees everyday. Great looking cars they are, never seen them before only on Wasabi cars!
;-)
loving the over fenders.
the weathers been quite nice here in the UK for a couple of weeks, but it's supposed to be getting wet and cold for the next few days, something to look forward to, lol.

That does sound terrible. :(
Damn i love making these plastic car kits :)
;-)
It was a tad bit cloudy today. Going to be like this all the way till Saturday. Going to have a Celica Supra BBQ and Tune up day that day here at my home as well. Just hoping for no rain. And as always good work.
Sounds good, and thanks. Btw, I'll be doing a GA61 video in the very near future. :)
Ill be looking forward to it! =)
Great video it was sunny but windy yesterday.
Thanks
It's cloudy here in my city, BTW tht model kit looks cool :D
That model is quite nice to be honest.
And for ¥700 you can't really complain, but the body is nicely molded.
I've seen some expensive kits which were awful.
And yeah..... about the weather, nice and sunny here in Holland.
Finally!!
The weather is overcast, WINDY, with rain on and off, 2 C
Sunny and breezy in the UK
Nice kit. It'd make a great slot car ;)
(o'course it's the wrong scale for me)
Have you done a vid on your slot-car passion? I'd like to see it.
Neat model! Cali's really nice right now... 79*F at 5:35 PM. :)
Sweet looking Nissan Cherry. For some reason, this generation was never sold in the USA. The 2nd generation was, sold as the Datsun F10.
I hope it really works out for you. And the weather here was really hot and sunny in the morning, a little rainy in the afternoon and now it is cool at night.
Cool is cool. :)
I can't tell it's dark out... Oh, Today? It was strange... a mix of rain, wind, & sun... X3
Variety is good, but not in weather. :/
Good day mate. The weather in los Angeles is warm 75* Fahrenheit. Partly Cloudy. Perfect for a car show or a race. Let the dog out! Let the dog out!
Sounds awesome. :)
Dooh. It is starting to rain.
Roberto Buenrostro Ha! The exact same here. :(
well I have to say I enjoy the video's so keep them coming and as for the weather its been sunny but cold but no rain so that's a bonus
Thanks Jason. :)
wow..i was never aware a nissan like that existed! and i own a 240Z! thanks! and that drink seems like it taste good! and change is not always bad Mr.Wasabi!
True ;-)

Curbside! That's it. Yeah, I got a bargain. :D
It seems to be cloudy today.

I love building these cool Japanese model car kits but they are hard to come across here where I live in Ontario.
Weather was rainy here.
the cherry X1R is on my list of cars I’ll own when I win the lotto...they can keep, those Porsche’s & Ferrari’s
Agreed

the recent term that best describes that nissan is 'shooting brake!'
+1 on loving the X-1R!
Nice kit you bought there!

I'd love a Cherry Coupe myself. I saw some non-white ones (they always seem to be white (like Toyota 2000GT's)) and they look awesome.
Nice video! Love this year Nissan cherry:)

Just had another thought Daniel, I would love a let's build type thing, and I reckon a lot of other people would too. It could be really interesting, anyway just a though!
What do you mean? That I suggest a theme and we all build?
hy there, I like your videos, and I'd like to see that car assembled :D
Thanks
+WasabiCars Oh no, nothing like that, just record yourself building it. Sorry for my dodgy explanation. I just thought it would be cool to see you build :)

Such a unique car.

Oh and it was 52 degrees and sunny here today.
;-)

My car is so not interesting. It's only a small/cheap car for commuting.
Awww Maybe one day :P
It's cold and damp...
:(
Seu filho que ira estudar no Japão e você Daniel acha que será uma mudança traumática para ele já que ele veem de outra cultura , não é isso?
We have always lived in Japan. I'm changing where I work, but I don't need to move my house. :)
The Bodys of the Doyusha kits are great!the rest....mehhhh!
Yeah, vintage kits can really be a lottery. Personally, I value body proportions over engine/chassis/interior detail. But then again, finishing the body is the aspect I'm least skilled at
Its raining in ontario canada
Rain! Not a fan. :(
Hey looks kinda like an AMC Gremlin.
Ah, yeah. :)
it snowed then it was sunny and just a little bit chilly. Nebraska whether is some of the stupidest, trust me.
is Daniel a teacher?
Daniel is a teacher. It's a tough job. :(
you seem like a pretty smart guy though, so i bet your students really enjoyed you as a teacher!
Miserable rainy grey my cars getting wet :.-( hate the uk
Very nice! These kits looks very nice, although I am more into 1/18 model-cars, since I just don't feel like I have the time to built kits like these, though I'm sure it's very cool! :)
And the weather today here in Denmark was pretty bad. Grey, rainy and windy, with temperature around 7-10 degrees Celsius.
1/18? That must use a lot of space.
very citrus-ee ROFL to funny
