This was my first car I bought two of them in 1986 I was able to rebuild one God one out of the two with a lot of welding and TLC realy sad tho I had an accident in hemsby car was totally destroyed I was heartbroken I'm fifty now and still miss that car
Hi, for my interest, was the X1-R really factory produced or is it a very nicely done after-market creation? When I moved to Hong Kong in 1980 I bought a X1 Coupe. The styling is a "love it or hate it" design, but I have always liked cars that are different! I always wanted to improve its performance and handling but I was only 20 at the time and couldn't afford it. I have looked for one subsequently but have never been able to find one. Now I live in Taiwan and hoped I might find an X1 Coupe here, but there are very few old cars here.

クラッチペダル(ワイヤー)が重くなリエンジンルームの鉄板が割れていた車が有りましたね（汗）
クラッチオーバーホールは、ミッション降ろさず エンジンルーム内で、…らくしょうでした！

いいですね。懐かしい、私もX1乗ってました。加速は良かった。
私も大学時代、通学に使ってました。高圧ガス入りショックに換えてラリーごっこにも使っていました。トルクステアが強いですが、すごく速かったです。通学時にはエコランで15km/lくらいでした。楽しい車です。

懐かしいチェリーXー1、若かりし、初めての所有者でオイルパン崩壊して買い替えてしまいました、当時、スカGを東名で競い抜いた覚えがあり、ツインキャブは良く走りました、今の軽自動車の内装に負けますが！

ブレーンバックスタイルとオーバーフェンダーが目を引いた、、
薄れた記憶だが、1200cc ＳＯＨＣだがＷキャブに軽量ボディー(750kg ?) 0～400ｍ加速は17/sec前半の俊足、、
兄貴分のブルバードsssをカモった、、！
アクセル踏み込んだとき、独特の高い音がしましたね。
この年代の車はシートなんか安っぽくて乗り心地は悪かったけど、外観も内装も今の車よりカッコいいですね。チェリーはたくさん走ってたのを覚えています。

懐かしいですね。秋吉久美子がＣМ出ていました。キャッチフレーズが【久美子、君を乗せるのだから】 今の車つまらないですね。採算を重視するのは当然だが、メーカーも売れる車しか造らないし、どこもデザインが一緒とか・・。以前は車と一緒に【夢】も売っていた
秋吉さんは2代目のF2ですね、彼女が降板した後期モデルは「黄色いチェリー」がキャッチコピーでした。

ハンドルロックが装備された後期型ですか？私は、ハンドルロックの無かった前期型(1973年)を所有していました。リアランプを縦目にして乗っていました。車検の度に元に戻されました。(笑)

x1-R was factory produced however these days they are very rare expensive and parts are even more rare.
