A gentlemen, a lyrical genius who wrote most of Sabbath's greatest tracks of all time and one of history's most talented and under-rated bassists. An icon.

How did Geezer Butler get surrounded by a group of pretty ladies? Butler is a master lyricist and has taken bass playing to a complete new level of sound. Check his live performance of Sign of the Southern Cross. Never heard a bass make those types of sounds before.

Awesome! Geezer Butler..Black Sabbath forever..I have been a Black Sabbath fanatic since I was eight in 1980. I have seen the band 26 times live and met the original band with Geezer, Tony, Ozzy and Bill in 1998 and Ozzy again in 2001. My favorite band ever. I have roomfuls of memorablia of Black Sabbath and KISS, my other favorite band.

I ended up here because of a link that appeared when I found a video about Geezer’s N.I.B. bass solo (sheet music) from their first LP. Funny to see Geezer with women. Back in 1970 when I was 11 years old and learned that song I thought Geezer is such a badass dude he would never even talk to girls, which are so terrible, giggle all the time, and think they are so smart. What a disappointment then that he even got married. But he has survived and ended up with four lovely ladies on a podcast, who would've believed.

If if wasnt for Geezer I would never of became a bassplayer myself. 35 years ago a friend wanted me to learn bass but I thought it was a boring instrument that just rode the root notes. A couple days later my friend brought me a cassette of the very first Black Sabbath album and I was blown away and hooked on bass from that day on. I eventually learned all his bass lines and i now have a Black Sabbath tribute band.

btw Grealish transfer was $140 million, he doesn't make all that. His base salary is about $17million per year, exc bonuses and sponsors etc. he's not the biggest transfer either that belongs to Neymar(grealish is sixth on list) at $275 million. sorry to be pedantic haha

Jack Grealish is the largest transfer in British/ U.K history. I think that’s what they meant.
