Is there a way to make the "manual" mockup a template? So that it operates similiar to how PSD templates do - you just have to replace the image to have it perfectly placed for future mockups.
Thanks for this, i had been using the mesh warp with a multiply blend mode, but didnt know about the pen tool / masking step, This will make my mockups a lot easier than fiddling with the handles to get it looking just right. Cheers!!
Hi Michael , love your video. I tried this but my mockup is a canvas shoe, so not a flat surface. I'm stuck. how do I make a mask of the whole shoe then slot the pattern on to it so it looks real? Help! 🙂
Hi, Thank you so much for the video - I don't know what to do as I can't find settings on my affinity photo - Like it's just not in the list & I've tried to look everywhere else for it? Do you know where else I could look?
When I do this using the live filter (live mesh warp) I find that the image is distorted abnormally and areas are automatically filled with black by the programme, and I cannot distort the image more than its size. I have noticed this especially if I rasterize the layer, whereas if I leave it as an image layer it does not give this problem. Can you tell me why? thank you!
I have a product, and hundreds of allover pattern designs, I need images of each one. Is there a way to do this fast instead of doing each one manually?
If you have a template, you should be able to drag in multiple images or patterns and then just toggle the layers and export each one. It may also depend on the product, but I'm not aware of any other way to bulk edit like this in Affinity Photo.
Wow thank you so much 🙏
No problem!
Love your tutorial video
Thank you!

Does this also work in affinity designer?
thank you!
This layer with ‘Your design’ doesn’t open 😥 any ideas?
I can try to help! Did you check the option for importing PSD smart objects?
