I totally relate to your birth story! Especially at the end where you say that you literally have no where else to look except God when you are in the agonizing pain of child birth. I had the same experience, and honestly it’s changed me in so many ways and has lead me to stop being a lukewarm Christian and instead be on fire for God.
God bless you and your beautiful family, mama ❤

This is like THE birth story of all birth stories. Absolutely love what you said at the end, God is clearly using you as a voice to speak into the lives of other women. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have my second baby any day now and I'm trying to go natural after having back labor with my first and immediately giving up. I went through the cascade of interventions that led to a c section. Very textbook story of what can go wrong for some women when going the epidural/on your back route. Your words have given me comfort and have inspired me to truly trust God with this birth and not be so concerned with trying to control it.

You have such a talent for storytelling, Celest! I watched the reel, I read the posts, and if you did another pod with Austin’s perspective like with B I truly don’t think I’d get sick of hearing it (that’s NOT a request or pressure by any means, it’s just to prove a point. I am PLENTY grateful that you share what you do). I love how each time you get to process more and reveal new insights. The suffering parallel is such a good one and in a world full of painkillers and conflict avoidance (Enneagram 9 🙋🏻‍♀️), it seems increasingly rare to find those who consciously stare suffering and intensity in the face and say “Bring It.” You’re an absolute gem!

Congratulations on your sweet little love💛 also, I just wanted to say, that analogy that you shared about how Jesus went through that agonizing pain that we could be reborn and how that is so similar to child birth, just wow. Never thought of it that way but it’s so so encouraging! Thank you for sharing♥️🤗

Thank you so much for sharing your birth story, Celest 💛. Your videos are always such an encouragement to me, and I love the parallel between the suffering of a woman during childbirth and Jesus' suffering for us on the cross. Congratulations again on baby Theo. He is absolutely precious 💙. I pray continued peace and protection over your sweet little family 🙏.

Thanks for sharing your birth story! I have been following you since your first and feel like I relate more with you and your lifestyle than any of the other TH-camrs I follow.
It is cray because I had my second baby just a couple days after you had Theo! It was 3 weeks early for me and mine was also so different than my first. I went into my 36 week appointment and I was 6 cm dilated. Didn’t go into labor that week which was crazy but at my 37 week appointment they checked again and now I was 7cm! Couldn’t find any info on the internet with someone going through anything like it
No Braxton Hicks contractions either. The next day I did go into labor and had a natural birth. It was so much slower and calmer and longer than my first. It was the easiest labor ever which I just want to share because I would get nervous and afraid at times thinking about last time but this time it was so easy for some reason. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Praying for you!

Your birth story w/ Theo gives me so much hope for my second birth. My first one was almost identical to yours (back labor, mental prep that turned into just lots of fear from pain, etc), but I ended up having to go to the hospital & got a c-section 😢 I pray my second time around (not pregnant rn but when that time comes) will be much different. Thank you so much for sharing such a vulnerable experience 💕 congrats to you & your family 😊

Your labor experiences were very similar to mine. My first one was a very fast extremely painful back labor ..OUCH. and then my last two we're very quick. My daughter just had a very fast birth at a birthing center here in Wisconsin . Excellent experience. Congratulations

Your labor is so similar to how mine with my 2nd was!! It was all over the place the contractions were 7min then just stopped when I napped and then 3min…they didn’t get consistent for me until I was literally about to push. Pregnant with my 3rd and I’m so interested to see how it will be!!

So happy that you had a smooth labor and delivery. I have my second baby in 1 1/2 months and I’m praying constantly that I have a good labor and recovery. My first was traumatic because I was ready to push and the doctor wasn’t around and I had to wait forever it was torture! This time I know better. If my body says pushing I’m pushing.
