Quick benefit to me and whomever is reading this, and a reminder to brother Moaaz. Raising the hands for dua as a habit after the obligatory salah is an innovation, but there is nothing wrong if done without raised hands. Wiping the face after dua is also an innovation(always, not specific to being after salah). The prophet said that in rukoo we should glorify allah, and in sujood we should increase in dua. Also it's recommended to do dua after the last Tashahhud, after Salat-ibrahimiyyah but before tasleem, keeping the finger raised. Specifically saying اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ(Sahih Muslim 588a) and اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ(this is in Sunan Abi Dawud 1522). As for what is said after the obligatory salah there are many adhkar recommended by the prophet, some of them being Astaghfirallah 3 times followed by "Allahuma Anta Assalam wa mink assalam tabarakta ya dhal jalali wal ikram" Then saying Subhanallah 33 times, Alhamduillah 33 times, Allahu akbar 33 times ending it off with "La ilaha illa allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulk wa lahul hamd wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadeer" Also reciting ayatul kursi once only after every obligatory salah. And then surat al-Ikhlas, sural al-falaq, surat al-nas one time after Dhuhr, Asr and Isha, 3 times after Fajr and Maghrib. May Allah reward you all with good, and make sure to like this comment so more will see it.

I'm studying islamic theology and subhanallah the difference in teaching. We only get 2 lessons a day for like 3 hours each. I can't imagine having lessons for 1 hour because in these classes the hour goes by so fast and there's a lot of information.
asalamualaikum brother , may Allah reward you for intention to study Islamic knowledge.However i would like to advise you to take your knowledge from scholars instead of these institutes and speakers, how are they conducting these halaqas where the boys and girls are literally sitting next to each other without a barrier, how can a person even concentrate on the lesson . Is this the way the our companions learned the religon ? Did they have Ayesha RA sitting infront of 100s of men and teach a tafsir lesson? She only used to communicate behind a curtain. What these institues are teaching is a modern version of Islam, please be careful of who you take your religon from. Depending on the city you are living in america i would advise you to attend duroos of well known students of knowledge and scholars who atleast know how to segregate between brothers and sisters. Also, i would advise you to atleast blur out the sisters face in the video , its not appropriate to upload their faces on youtube.

Theres a difference between mahram and non mahram , your mother , your wife , your sister , your daughter is your mahram your daughters daughter , your sisters sister etc. What im talking about is non mehram , all those siaters there are non mahram , there fore they cannot freeix with them

Like I'm curious to know like the sequence of learning the topics. What do you need to know first in your opinion before you can learn another topic? I guess I am confused as to the overall path of knowledge, how the milestones or waypoints of certain topics are laid out. Jazakalhu Khayran. Start with reading the Quran, the hadiths. In my opinion, contemplating and acting Islamic ally is more important than consuming vast amounts of information for milestones.
Bro in my school people don't even talk to each other. Some people have an attitude also. This is a place that fits me a lot people I love being with people. If Im alone doing nothing, I just get bored.
I'm telling yall I had the privilege of studying tafseer. In English it means interpretation/explaination of the quraan . And trust me when I say this it is the most magical thing ever. If you are a person looking for answers in any field of study or any subject I suggest looking towards it and carefully studying it in detail. You will find unlimited knowledge. I will be lying if I said Arabic language is hard but it is very metaphorical and the words have so many meanings and with the tafseer you will find linkages and deeper meanings and explanation. Put the effort and take your time in studying it. You will not regret it

asalamualaikum brother , may Allah reward you for intention to study Islamic knowledge.However i would like to advise you to take your knowledge from scholars instead of these institutes and speakers, how are they conducting these halaqas where the boys and girls are literally sitting next to each other without a barrier, how can a person even concentrate on the lesson . Is this the way the our companions learned the religon ? Did they have Ayesha RA sitting infront of 100s of men and teach a tafsir lesson? She only used to communicate behind a curtain. What these institues are teaching is a modern version of Islam, please be careful of who you take your religon from. Depending on the city you are living in america i would advise you to attend duroos of well known students of knowledge and scholars who atleast know how to segregate between brothers and sisters. Also, i would advise you to atleast blur out the sisters face in the video , its not appropriate to upload their faces on youtube.

Theres a difference between mahram and non mahram , your mother , your wife , your sister , your daughter is your mahram your daughters daughter , your sisters sister etc. What im talking about is non mehram , all those siaters there are non mahram , there fore they cannot freeix with them

Like I'm curious to know like the sequence of learning the topics. What do you need to know first in your opinion before you can learn another topic? I guess I am confused as to the overall path of knowledge, how the milestones or waypoints of certain topics are laid out. Jazakalhu Khayran. Start with reading the Quran, the hadiths. In my opinion, contemplating and acting Islamic ally is more important than consuming vast amounts of information for milestones.
Bro in my school people don't even talk to each other. Some people have an attitude also. This is a place that fits me a lot people I love being with people. If Im alone doing nothing, I just get bored.

I'm telling yall I had the privilege of studying tafseer. In English it means interpretation/explaination of the quraan . And trust me when I say this it is the most magical thing ever. If you are a person looking for answers in any field of study or any subject I suggest looking towards it and carefully studying it in detail. You will find unlimited knowledge. I will be lying if I said Arabic language is hard but it is very metaphorical and the words have so many meanings and with the tafseer you will find linkages and deeper meanings and explanation. Put the effort and take your time in studying it. You will not regret it
